This is black mold that I found in her room. She has severe c o.P.D and they put her in the room with black mold

I would tell you about the bad experience. However, I'm still experiencing it. My wife came up here six weeks ago six weeks ago. She was diagnosed with liver cancer later on. They found lung cancer. She has flued that accumulates in her lungs. Every 3 days they have done nothing to address this issue. They have drained her lungs. 9 times they should have put a catheter in after the second time. Then, I could take her home. I think she could make her appointments. So far, the fluid builds up every 3 days. So it's impossible for her to make her appointments is awes. To treat her cancer. What's the point of having an early detection for cancer? If you don't do anything about it If I could give this place 0 stars I would We're still up here dealing with this.If you have to go to the hospital unless it's absolute emergency stays far away from this place as you can

Exceptional place. I live in California and my father lives here in Yuma. He fell and broke his hip. So I came from Northern California to help my dad with his broken hip and surgery. When we arrived to the emergency room, we were met by professional and attentive team of ER nurses to help in placing him to a gurney. Ryan and Elizabeth, our ER nurses were so friendly and kept us apprised about everything, labs and images and his transfer to Surgery. Once on the Surgical floor, even more friendly and supportive staff. Everyone is helpful, supportive, and professional. I have worked for Stanford Medicine, Kaiser, and federal hospitals, for over 30 years in healthcare and can say with full conviction that Onvida in Yuma is top tier. The first doctor I met was Luc Lanteigne MD. He was a compassionate and caring person. I needed help and he provided it without the red tape. I am going to try to get him for my dad's primary care physician. My dad's surgeon, Dr. Rodney Henderson, so professional and knowledgeable. His anesthesiologist, Dr. Toni Harrison- a gem of a person that took the time to talk with me about my dad's wishes and what we wanted for him. After the surgery on the floor, Danielle, his RN did everything to make sure my dad was comfortable throughout the broken hip, surgery, and recovery. Even with the dementia and Alzheimer challenges, she was attentive, supportive and professional. I couldn't have hoped for better. Patients and families arrive here sick, tired and sometimes broken. You get what you put out into the universe. Be respectful and kind; you get respect and kindness. I was severely stressed and scared for my dad. One's mortality crosses the mind when traumatic events happen but I had an exceptional experience and it was thanks to all the staff here at Onvida Healthcare.

During a recent visit to Onvida Health my fiance had to undergo an amputation. It was a difficult time to say the least. But, the staff was absolutely incredible. From the security working the exit to her nurses, doctors, and even the maintenance staff. Everyone on their staff made her experience more pleasant. During her stay she was visited by the hospital's Patient Experience Representative, Marcy. Marcy was a delight, she's sincere and genuinely concerned for their patient's care. Her playful banter was a relief. Onvida Health has my deepest gratitude for their efforts.

Over the years my family and I've had varying degrees of different experiences there. For the most part the customer service in my opinion has been just short of outstanding. I stayed overnite and seemingly every effort was made to find me a overnight pullout chair (one wasn't available). I had less than stellar incidents where (1) a male nurse didn't say 'sorry' and tried to pass the buck about some misinformation and (2) a male doctor basically said 'suck it up buttercup' during a quick procedure (it was a Marine Corps/Navy thing; many may not understand)! However, what stands out upon repeat visits would be the cafeteria The Kiva Cafe. The food is reasonably priced, there's a good seating area to choose to eat at and the food choices are ideal. On a late night visit we were able to eat a decent fast food meal of pizza, onion rings, cheeseburgers, fries and a chicken tender basket. The hours of operation reminded me of the military as in serving food at various times throughout the whole day to attempt to accomodate everyone. Again, the hospital isn't somewhere to look forward to visiting but it's nice to know while there efforts are remain solid as possible.

I should have just died. Too understaffed to treat anyone like a human being in need of help.

My sister was in the Yuma Regional Medical Hospital and received the best care available in Yuma…read more Thank you nurses and doctors for helping her! The care was great and her family felt supported through the process. I'm grateful for all of the care they gave her. I called the front office and gift shop the day after she was admitted and they were able to seamlessly help me send her flowers to her room. The type of care she received is very much appreciated.

So much for the black and yellow band. During the night the nurse knocked on my door to come in. I was sleeping so she woke me up, gave me a pill and left. Over an hour later came the knock on the door for another pill. In the meantime I used the bathroom several times. I saw the pull cord on the wall by the camode, but I used ths sink. If I would have fallen there was no way I would be able to reach that cord. I had a problem sleeping ,so I got up to walk around. If I would have fallen I could not reach the button on the bed. Not one nurse would have known that I was down. Those closed doors keep out the sounds, they also keep the sounds in. So much for the FALL RISK bands on my wrist. More care needs to be taken. When a person is sick they don't want to be shut off in a room. I hope I don't need to be hospitalized soon

I would say the doctor/PA was great. Unfortunately, it's been 5 days and still don't have blood…read moreresults after having chest pains while there. They did an EKG which came back negative and also took blood. I was told I would get a call in 2 days. It's been 5 days and I have been trying to call them for 2 days. Nobody is picking up the phone!!!! Ridiculous. Let's see if someone from corporate calls after sending them a message from the website.

I developed an earache over the passed couple days. As I was about to head to CVS to pick up some…read moreover the counter ear drops, my wife recommended going to urgent care since we're heading out of town tomorrow. I'm a cash payer, no standardized health insurance, so I was reluctant, but decided it might be a good idea because the pain is worse today than it has been. I made the appointment and upon my arrival, I let the woman at the desk know I don't have insurance and ask how much the visit will cost. She said she can't tell me that and it all depends on what the doctor does, x-rays, exams, etc. I thought it be odd there is not a standard visit cost, but thought it'd be around $50-$75 since I knew no x-rays would be needed. I get called back, they weigh me, take my blood pressure and temp, all check out well. I wait a couple mins for the doctor. Not a long wait, which was nice. He walks in and asks about the earache. I tell him it's in my left ear and that I've had similar pain before which turned out to be an impact of the ear or wax build up. He immediately checks my right ear for reference, no problem. Then checks my left and says, "Guess what." I reply, "what." He tells me, it's all clear and completely clean. It is a little inflamed though, so he prescribed me ear drops. He was in the office a total of about 3 to 5 minutes. I go to the front and they give me my script and a bill for $180! What?!?! $180?! For what?! To tell me I have no wax build up in my ear take some ear drops, which I already planned to do? I was floored at the price tag. This is the problem with the health care system. It's such a scam. It's no wonder people result to Google or web md. If she would've told me the price before I went to the back, I would've walked out. But because I was "seen," they can charge whatever they want and I can't do anything about it. Shame on you NextCare taking advantage of hard working Americans. I won't be back, but what do you care? You got your $180.

Visited with NP for severe abdominal/back pain. Diagnosed as constipation with advice to drink more…read morewater and take a mild laxative, took labs (they do it every visit?) and sent home. Severeness of pain got worse and advised next day by phone to continue as prescribed and come back in six weeks. An ER visit quickly located a kidney stone. So much for obvious assembly line medical care. BTW, who wants to receive care from a physician who says "Hi, just call me Joe" and then wants to change your food choices secondarily to one's medical issue. Another, BTW, Bob S, is the clinic's owner who gave himself 5. stars.

Sad to say she left, and it has been terrible since. I was passed off to a NP and while her interest seems genuine the administrative operation of the office is a DISASTER at best. I was to be referred to a Neurologist and that is when the end was near. First on a separate note there were issues with getting insurance approval for a different issue that was affecting my knee. They sent me for x-rays, said I needed treatment, and they would get approval. Never got back to me on that issue. Back to the Neurologist. I was told a name and number and if they did not contact me withing a few days I should call them. I did not get a call, so I began trying to contact them. The Neurologists office phone kept giving me a recording announcing the voice mail system was not available. After multiple attempts I called Up2Par. Their assistant said she would follow up with the Neurologist. She called me back and said she reached them without problem, and I should call again. I got the voice mail system is not available message again. I called Up2Par and she said she would try while I was on the line. This time she got the voice mail not available message. Next, I was referred to Up2Par's scheduling office so I could speak to the lady who would be coordinating the referral. That was a disaster. She spent the better part of the call explaining why the issue was happening such as the doctor that I am referred to does not like voice mail, so the office does not use the technology. After listening to all her excuses, I told her I was unsure about using the doctor they recommended. So, between the multiple missed communications, it seemed after an extreme number of phone calls and mounds of frustration I had an appointment with the Neurologist, and an appointment to check some issues requiring an ultrasound of my chest. Still at this time I am not sure about my knee. Now I receive a form letter with the boxed checked stating and I quote, " We cannot live up to your higher expectations. Due to that, we encourage you to find another physician." Amazing they have a FORM letter that you check the box stating they cannot meet expectations. Apparently, they do that often!
