I have been going to this tailor for a couple of months. I recently brought in a white button-down that needed the torso tapered. When I picked it up, the shirt still fit noticeably loose, and when I looked inside to understand why, I found several issues with the alteration work: - The back darts were sewn asymmetrically -- they start and end at noticeably different heights on each side. - The dart points were left bulky and puckered instead of pressed flat, creating visible bumps under the fabric when worn. - Loose threads and uneven stitching were present on both darts. - The side seam taper ended in a crooked, unfinished fold that looks rushed and sits uncomfortably inside the hem. I asked about the loose fit when picking the shirt up and was told "shirts are supposed to have room," but the garment still balloons excessively when tucked in, which defeats the purpose of tailoring a fitted dress shirt. I have attached photos of the inconsistencies and have marked them in red and black for the viewer's convenience.

I had to change into my dress in the club bathroom and then walk through the club to the conference room with glass, see through walls where he measured me. We then agreed on a delivery date for my altered dresses. I was told delivery cost $11. I did not hear from Ron until I texted him the day after he was supposed to deliver my dresses. He delivered them later that day and then requested additional payment for the Uber he took to deliver my dresses. One of my dresses was altered well but the other was botched- I had asked him to adjust a slit in my dress, which he stitched from the bottom instead of the top such that there was a gap at the top. When I let Ron know that I was dissatisfied and wanted to reschedule so that he could fix it, he did not respond to my text message.

I purchased a wedding gown that was previously owned and fitted for another girl NEAR my size, but not quite my size, which still meant that it didn't fit. Julia was very reasonable with her alteration proposals, and executed them so beautifully! I loved how much attention she paid to detail. The dress was actually made for a girl 1 inch shorter than me, so she proposed tacking on an extra layer of lace to the bottom (my dress was lacy) to give the illusion of more length. Not only did she find lace that had a similar pattern, she even hand-dyed the lace to make sure that it had the antiqued ivory color of my dress! It was all the little things like that that made me feel very taken care of! Aside from that, I could tell that it was important that she created the best, possible customer experience. She was very lively, knowledgeable, and relatable. She would NEVER over charge for alterations or suggest unnecessary work just to make a quick buck like some of the big retailers out there. One of my girls tried on her dress, and Julia said "wow! that's a perfect fit! It doesn't even need alterations!" You'll never get that kind of honesty out of the big business people. When there was work to be done, though, Julia would not sleep until the job was done right. She was available for me whenever I needed her, and she always kept a level head even when things had to change very suddenly. Overall, I had an excellent experience with Julia and I would HIGHLY recommend her to ANYONE else!

He selected his outfit online and sent invitations to all of us that would be involved to go in and get measured. One guy was in California, I was here in NJ, and the rest were in other areas of Pennsylvania. No one went to the same store. I was helped by Delisia, who quickly found my wedding party, reviewed what I was getting, get out a 'test tux; for me to try, tweaked up my measurements, and sent me off with a pick up receipt in about 15 minutes. Two days before the wedding I returned, picked up my tux, and headed off. On the wedding day, the tuxes all matched perfectly, fit fine, and everyone was happy. Quite a service they provide. The only downside is the tux has to be returned the next day, which, after a good wedding, can be a painful chore. But the return process took literally all of two minutes, so tolerable even with post wedding hangover!
