He worked seamlessly with our wedding planner, Victoria with thatBliss, and I had zero hesitations going into the big day. I knew we were in good hands. Jonathan was extremely professional while MCing our wedding. He made all the appropriate announcements and kept the celebration flowing smoothly all night. With his clear, strong voice, relatable personality, and attention to detail, you cannot go wrong with Jonathan as the host of your big day! Jonathan is also an extremely talented artist. He performed live during cocktail hour and during dinner, and I had so many guests commenting on how much they enjoyed the live music. It was such a fun and unique addition. It really elevated the experience for everyone. Once the dancing kicked off, Jonathan absolutely nailed it. He seamlessly wove his go to dance tracks with our specially requested songs and made the dance floor the place to be. Our dance floor was open for about four hours including the after party, and Jonathan made sure to keep the energy high! We all had the best night and three months later, our friends and family are still talking about how much fun they had. I owe a big part of this to Jonathan. We cannot thank you enough!!

He made us feel like he had everything under control and that he knew when to accommodate us and when he could use his knowledge to make sure everyone had a great time. In the pre-ceremony, he mixed it up between some pre-selected songs I chose and played some live. I am a musician, so many of our family and friends that were in attendance are all musicians and singers. They all immediately were drawn to his smooth voice and incredible playing. The ceremony went great and had minimal to no tech issues, the sound was clear, he helped us incorporate our musician friends to play a song during the ceremony. He played our First Dance song live, and absolutely knocked it out of the park! We did a small choreographed dance to Love Like This by Ben Rector. His voice was perfect, and I was able to send him an edited version of the song that matched with our dance. He played it flawlessly and the moment was special for my wife and I, and for our guests. During the dinner, he played an acoustic set consisting of covers of 90s-2000s R&B songs, which were a huge hit with us and our guests. He played with a loop pedal and was able to simulate a full band with just his guitar and voice! He had some moving and grooving, singing along during dinner, while others were still able to hold a conversation without distraction. I gave him many songs to include in the dance portion of the night. And while he included MANY of my suggestions, he also knew when to throw in some crowd favorites to keep the party going. The dance floor was PACKED all night, the transitions between each song where seamless, and it became a fun game for my and my friends to try and guess what song he was cueing up next! My wife and I loved every musical moment of the evening, and it was exactly what we dreamed of for that day. All of our guests loved the music, and were so impressed not just with his professionalism and on stage banter with the crowd, but his musicality and rich voice. I have worked as a wedding musician for a few years, and as a gigging musician and singer for much longer. I have always feared that I would spend my wedding day judging the Wedding Band/DJ because of my high standards for live music. Jonathan blew every single one of those expectations out of the water, and he was such a breath of fresh air during a stressful period of wedding planning. I cannot recommend Jonathan Blake Salazar any more for your wedding. He is a dream to work with, and will do an incredible job performing, Emceeing, and DJing your special day!

He understood exactly the vibe we wanted for every part of the day - ceremony, cocktail hour, reception, dancing - and every song had great transitions, never leaving a dull moment. We were dancing all day and night! Even during cocktail hour and dinner! The DJ booth setup was also super clean and looked perfect next to our dance floor. Sometimes wedding vendors can be tough to work with or annoying to get a hold of, but this was definitely not the case here. Matt is super professional, has great communication, and is a wonderful guy to work with. He made sure he knew every detail of our day so that it would be perfect. And it was! Our photo booth attendant was so nice and helpful, and made everyone feel comfortable while taking pictures. It was our gift to our guests and everyone loved it. 1000/10 would recommend DJ Donny to play your wedding or event. Also highly recommend renting the photo booth - you won't regret it. I must commend website personnel: respect, professionalism, love of HBSO, courtesy, assistance off the chart! There was a slight dissonance in the lobby for this octogenarian, along with many peers, found it stifling without seating and long wait before auditorium doors were opened. When I called this to the attention of an usher, Peggy, she immediately brought me a chair, but that seemed unfair to all the others. Debbie was soon back: ushering us and all inside where we could comfortably sit in eager anticipation. Once concert started, I was literally mesmerized at orchestra's synchronized excellence. Maestro Conductor's Sevdayan metrical rhythm was flawless. Tenors, Sopranos, Baritone, Bass enriched "Barber of Seville" selections with vivacious standouts. My cultural life enriched with heightened appreciation for Olympian skill achieved with countless selfless hours of practice. God Bless: praying nonprofit HBSO deserves faithful support! KUDOS, MJG
