Everything is done with care, precision and with the long-term in mind. Both my parents have veneers he did 20+ years ago that are going strong. I chose this office for their "BPA free" fillings well the Filtek they use is not even BPA free only Diamond and Venus brand is. First off the dental assistant was so rude because I did not want x ray's - she acted inconvenienced because they had to call my old dentist for x -ray's and then the Tristen Smith the dentist did not even INTRODUCE herself or shake my hand. She went on to look at my teeth and didn't even examine everything until I asked her to she then said "you have a lot of cavities" .. uh ok? so how many do I have? I had to keep asking questions to find out about anything. I was also told that they had "emergency clients" which is why they could not do my cleaning. SO GROSSLY UNPROFESSIONAL. STAY AWAY. There are much better alternatives in the EL area. The best part of the visit was the extremely nice front desk receptionist and props to her for putting up with that office. Maybe if they spent more money training in customer service than decorating their fancy office this place would be worth coming to.

Once I finally got in they spent over and our doing xrays.They clear can't be that holistic when they took Ofer 15 X-rays and stuck my entire head what appeared to run like a CT machine, then probed my mouth with more devices that are sure to have heavy EMF. When they were finished they decided to tell me they weren't going to clean my teeth today because they didn't have enough time. The dentist and dental assistant said "by the time we realized you needed a full exam (still never explained what a full exam entails) it was too late to call you". So on top of the excessive amounts of rescheduling they don't even respect their patients time enough to give them a 30 seconds phone call. At no point in time did they say "sorry I should have explained that to you" or "sorry we should have called you" they almost made it seem like it was my fault. I am super bummed because I really wanted to like this practice. I will give them one more chance before I go back to my old dentist (who always went above and beyond to communicate scheduling and any other changes that may occur). I was ultimately a candidate for oral surgery. It could not have gone more smoothly, nor with better results! Very few people ever want to go to the dentist or periodontist, but after my experience during the last several weeks, I can unequivocally say that I would choose Dr. Charchut in a heartbeat if I had a need for similar treatment. I've been seeing Dr. Schmid ever since :) My co-worker referred to her dad as the "painless dentist," and that's quite true! Dr. Schmid definitely has a heavy hand with the novocaine, which I appreciate. He's also very pleasant, as is his staff. The office itself is quite nice. I wish it was more conveniently located (it's out on the west side -- quite a ways from my house in Holt!) but definitely worth the drive.

When I got my cleaning, I paid for the mouthguard. When I got my scans for the mouthguard, I was scheduled an appointment for pick up in January because that's the soonest that it would be available, and confirm that I was paid. When I checked out after picking up my mouthguard, I was told that I still owed. The claim was not put through until January because that's when I picked it up and the price increased by 160%. At no time when I made the appointments, checked out, paid for the mouthguard, or made the appointment for pick up, was I told that this would not be filed until January. I did discuss when I made the appointments that my insurance in 2026 was not as good and they cheered me on for making the appointment in December and paying in cash. Whether this was shady practices to get more money, or lack of training for those who schedule, sit reception/checkout, do the scans, those I interacted with multiple times, I don't know. They will not refund what I paid. So now I'm not only out that money, but the mouthguard. Be careful when they are soliciting appointments. Make sure they are charging your insurance timely and correctly.

This is my third set of dentures, and the first 2 were poorly fitted. Using the results of the panoramic x-ray, Dr. Erhard was able to have made more comfortable, better fitting dentures. In their paperwork nowhere did it talk about the denture appliance in the quote. What was even crazier this other office wanted to inject botox after surgery to supposedly reduce swelling & pain. Everyone is know who got a both treatment had swelling. It made no sense until I found out ut was the Dr's wife that did those treatments. I was also told at this office theyd bill the insurance for the panoramic & Dr visit & they probably won't cover much but they'd waive it from the treatment if I used them. They didn't submit it to my insurance & called me in late September., since I told them I leave end of October for winters in the south. I did get a letter from my insurance saying neither the panoramic nor the office visit was covered by insurance AND that the peridondist office should know that. One Day Dentures never charged me for any of the several panoramic nor my initial office visit. I'm usually very scared of the shots & having teeth pulled but at One Day Dentures I never felt the shots to numb my mouth, nor any of the 12-13 teeth I had pulled. The temporary bottom denture wasn't fitting well but the dr had me come in many times to adjust. I did ask about expedition of getting the bottom denture with the snap in feature (which helps keep dentures on bottom from a lot of movement for a better fit.) We waited a bit because of my leaving state but he let me come i. 1-2 times a week to get them as near perfect as I wanted them. No extra charge for all those visits & adjustments. I'm currently very pleased with my new uppers and my new lower dentures. I eat well with them they don't flop around. I appreciated the honesty, caring and commitment of all the folks at One Day Dentures. Even the in house lab people want the best fit for you.
