Unbelievable. I called the Harris office for an appointment and was told they needed a referral. I told them I had one and in fact was holding it in my hand. Unfortunately, they need to receive it by fax. Fair enough. I called Southeast Medical Group and spoke with Ky, who confirmed they fax'd the referral. I asked who the Harris office should call if they still could not locate the referral. Ky said she was the person. Called Harris office for an appointment for a second time. They still couldn't locate the referral, and would not call Ky. When I asked for the name of the person I was speaking with at the Harris office, she hung up! read more

This business only gets one star because you have to give at least one. Worst customer service ever! System fails to keep booked appointments and then the administrators act as if it's not their problem. Front desk clerk is soft spoken and constantly ask you to repeat information because she either forgets or can't hear. I refuse to give this place my business as the staff isn't personable and also don't care about your well-being. This is no reflection of the skill(s) of the doctor, however I'm a true believer in customer satisfaction. If I'm not satisfied with my service you surely won't get my money. I hope the ladies get some training especially the Administration manager. Pathetic! read more

The first visit will just with be a physicians assistant. In the new patient documentation they send you, it is explained you may join a membership at $75 in case your administrative fees go over what they are charging regardless of various insurance payouts. Now I understand this from the perspective of economics mostly and only a small understanding of western medicine which seems to be solely driven by insurance fee schedules or what drs get paid for for what they do for procedures which are classified by ICD-10 codes so no mere mortal knows exactly what goods they're really buying. I understand insurance is no longer paying out as it once did in the days of yore. Insurance such as medicare isn't covering medical care the same way it used to and nor are most insurance companies. I also would imagine that as Alzheimer's and other neurological conditions are on the rise due to the heavy metal toxins and aluminum or major immune irritants are used in adjuvants in most vaccines that are short term saving millions of peoples lives but may long term be effecting the constitution of our mental health and our well being at the end stages of life because nearly everything added to our food from crop like glyphosate to preservatives en route to heavy metals everywhere here tend to be neurotoxic. We desperately need preventive medicine to really make a stand against some of these non curable diseases of the brain. However, having 3 Medical Doctors in my family on hand for a plethora of philosophical, political and ethical holiday discussions, we all find it pretty gross this new trend of physicians who use tactics to make money by increasing visits or various tactics to to drive up reimbursements; incentives driven by health insurance companies to reduce their cost end up creating a system of asking patients to go in for much more office visits than necessary in order to bill more or like going to the dentist and your gums look great but they insist on xrays every single time they see you just because insurance will pay for it but their is no indication you need any. How do sick people who worked hard their whole life and are now on Medicare are expected to go back and forth to a doctors office to answer questions by physician assistants. I also have a PA in the family and several friends who are PA and while I understand the trend bc they are 1/3 or 1/4 the cost of a Medical doctor so they get them to do the paperwork and gather intel, however, its still rather sad to see this trend for specialties where a patient is dealing with one of the most difficult and profoundly scary diseases. Here you will be a number not a patient that will be seen and treated for maybe years to come. I would not be inclined to waste my time here. Find a physician that cares about his or her patients and not which insurance they carry. It's beyond sad, it's hilarious and only in this modern day we live in could a physician create such a system to cushion incoming revenue by focusing on office policies instead of attempt to advance the humanity of this really crucial field of medicine. Usually braggadocios medical doctors are the ones not worried about policies but worried about furthering the advancement of their field of medicine and thereby helping the most patients even if it is only by giving them the dignity of their time. This offices constitution is policy and it's stated right their in the paperwork, it resonates a feeling they do not care about you. Look at their website and all the other reviews which show you how their incentives set up a particular behavior. Most Dr. websites will all brag about where they went to school and how much experience they have at what they do. This website talks about their office policies hahahaaaa!!!!! I am quite sure they will not be the type of office to have office personnel whose goal should be to find out if you're in network and help you understand what your insurance covers. They will be the type that will find out how much they will get for you, and then right in their policies explains how they will nickel and dime you. Business wise these guys are clever. Physician wise, well I am not seeing anything regarding history or philosophy of either of the two physicians. After all, what incentive do they have to treat you well when they are ensuring they will get paid for any and every little jot and tittle they can. "I hereby give lifetime authorization for payment of insurance benefits to be made directly to Comprehensive Neurology Specialists and any assisting physicians for services rendered" HAAA!!! Folks, I could not make this up!! thank you but no thank you Mr. Grinch, no one I know will be coming to see you. I wouldn't send my enemy to see you. While the Dr. was nice when I finally saw him, I had to wait an hour and a half for my appointment. They were completely unapologetic, then I got a lecture from his office staff that this is just how it is if I want to see him. Weeks later after my follow up appt. had been scheduled to receive Botox, the office staff calls to tell me they now have to push it back another 4 weeks because they haven't even filed it with insurance yet to get it approved, again unapologetic, telling me there are people dealing with more pressing health issues than mine! Had I known it was going to take months, I could have gone to see another doctor. Complete mistreatment of patient and office staff is belligerent. read more

I was a patient of Dr Harris for several years. He is arrogant and uncaring. After waiting to see him for over an hour, he spent very little time with me. After having a head injury from an automobile accident, he refused to see me saying he did not see patients who were involved in an accident. His staff said it is too complicated waiting to be paid by the insurance company. I told them I have Medicare, BCBS Federal and Travelers. All three are coordinating my claims. I said Medicare and BCBS Federal are paying the bills first, as always at 100%, and then Travelers will reimburse the insurance companies. Still, they refused to see me. I asked to speak to Dr Harris and was told that was very unlikely. I explained my rheumatologist and orthopedist said that Dr Harris refusing to see me was ridiculous and suggested I talk to him. Still, I was not allowed to speak to him. I asked them what I was supposed to do; find another neurologist. Then I said don't bother. Dr Harris took the time to respond to me on his patient portal saying if I upset his staff again he would have to stop seeing me. Dr Blass' first concern is money. I will never see him again. First time to ever post a review for a physician, but I was incredibly impressed with him and want other migraine sufferers to benefit from his expertise/approach. He took his time throughout the comprehensive consult and was an attentive listener. Genuinely sought to understand patient's full history so he could see both big and small picture. His treatment plan was well thought out, sensible and very well explained. He even suggested proven and well researched supplements in addition to RX drugs including very specific info like dosages and what specific types. SO THRILLED TO HAVE A WONDERFUL NEUROLOGIST NEARBY. His office is right across the street from Johns Creek Emory hospital. read more
