The Spanish chic and the white lady are some of the rudest humans I've met in my life and at a doctors office. Dr. Tucker needs to get rid of them and from these other comments I see I'm not the only one. I spent at least outside of my insurance 17,000 and I almost certain it helped with their salary. Unfortunately because of them and their representation I will not go any longer. I did find another surgeon so they are requesting my X-rays and labs. What they don't understand is they are the first impression and the face of the doctors office. If possible go elsewhere where you're treated humanly as possible.

I called to set up a consultation appointment and when asked of my insurance type, I told the receptionist I'd be paying in cash of which I was not informed by her of any charges to set up the consultation at all. I should have asked if there would be a charge but assumed since referred from another practice there wouldn't be.. my mistake. So the day of my appointment I was given a new patient packet to fill out still uninformed of any charges. Dr. Tucker sees me, and things start off well. He explained everything very thoroughly and I was appreciative of his knowledge. He received my 3 week old xrays from my general dentist in then says he couldn't see my wisdom teeth clear enough and that I needed another x ray. So like a dummy I take another xray.. the xray machine was conveniently located in the same room now that I think about it lol. He gives me the price of the surgery and I ask him if I can make payments on the surgery and pay in full before receiving the surgery, he rudely cuts me off in saying he doesn't talk about money talk to the front desk with his back turned to me at his desk. But you was just talking to me about money but whatever?? I go to the front desk to ask her and she said yes I could and then stiffed me with a $180 bill!! $110 for xray $70 for consultation. In which I had to pay in cash or walk out and get billed later or to go on my credit. The consultation fee..fine but the xray charge after I just paid for a xray 3 weeks prior was b.s. so I called the general dentist to discuss my xray in which this Dr. Said he couldn't see them well. They blatantly told me that my xray was fine, they don't know why he said he couldn't see my wisdom teeth and that he does this for extra money. I tried to get refunded for my 2nd xray and either place wouldn't. They could care less that I just paid almost $300 in cash for 2 xrays and consultation..in 3 weeks!! Here's the kicker..my best friend who referred me to the general dentist says Dr. Tucker told her he couldn't see her teeth well and billed her for another xray too!! in which her insurance wouldn't cover because she had just gotten one done. He's money hungry and switchy/rude. His bedside manner was okay then turned bad once he felt he was done with me and I didn't like that. Billing people for extra xrays and not telling of charges up front is bad business practice. I tell everyone don't go there if so beware!!!

Dr. Gilleland and Dr Gupta told me I didn't need all of the expensive dental work the other 2 dental group tried to get me for and they fixed my issues for a lot less with great results. Dr. Gilleland even totally re-did my crown because he did not like the way it was sitting, he didn't just try to drill and fix it. I really appreciate him going the extra mile. The entire staff has been super kind thus far. I strongly recommend this office.

This decision is not a reflection of the dentist or the clinical care, which has always been satisfactory. Unfortunately, it is the result of ongoing issues with the back-office billing process under the current office management. Due to repeated billing negligence, I was forced to pay over $600 out of pocket, ultimately including payment to a collection agency for charges that should have been properly handled and reconciled by the office. Today, when I contacted the office to have my account reviewed after resolving the collection, I was placed on hold for over an hour without resolution. After nearly two decades of loyalty, this level of billing mismanagement and lack of responsiveness is unacceptable. Patients should not bear financial consequences due to administrative errors, nor should they have to expend excessive time attempting to correct them. As a result, I will be transitioning myself and my family to a dental practice that demonstrates greater accountability and appreciation for its patients.

When I asked why the price had increased so dramatically the response I was given by Khaliah Archie (receptionist with whom I normally liaise) was that the previous receptionist gave me the wrong quote. I asked why they decided to honor that price for the other procedure that I had (which was the exact same as what I was coming in for today) and was told that it didn't matter what they had done in the past, but they were not going to honor this price today. Khaliah was rude and curt with me saying, "This is the price, so what do you want to do about it?" Mentioning that Donna (the receptionist who created the pricing and invoice for me) was the one that gave me a single quote for both procedures seemed to do absolutely nothing. I reiterated that I was not to be held responsible for Donna's mistake in the pricing that she gave me. Considering that the company had honored that price in the past, they should be able to do so again today. Khaliah's response was as curt and rude and in alignment with her previous one so I mentioned to her that this was an unacceptable form of client care and asked if she thought that this was the way she should handle this situation. To which she responded, "Are you going to pay for the services or not?" At that point I decided I was not going to pay it, and I left - never to return. I loved MINT!! I first became a patient in 2018 when I was in Irving, Texas, and when I learned that they opened offices here in Atlanta, I rushed to make an appointment and establish care here as well. I brought my family over so they too would become customers. Now, after all this time, I have to sever my relationship with them since I no longer trust their pricing and business practices, and if their receptionists feel comfortable enough to speak with me in such a manor they must have a practice of allowing poor client interaction and behavior. This is not a place where I can feel comfortable with the amount of trust needed with preferred medical providers.

I barely entered the building, no service has been rendered yet before they started talking about payment/money. I was immediately disgusted. Needless to say, I will not be returning to any of Mint dentistry locations. I have bad experiences at both of the locations that I have tried.
