DENTISTRY DONE RIGHT!!! I'm terrified of the dentist but the staff made my visit seamless and painless! I actually chose the office because it's so close to my house and I pass it daily but I was honestly worried because I didn't know anything about it. However, all of the staff are super nice and Dr Chung is top tier! I will be working with him for anything dental related in the future. Rosalia was a wonderful assistant to have to work with. She answered all of my questions about after care very clearly. I had an issue with a tooth that I put off for too long and was given several options to choose from. Dr. Chung and Rosalia worked together quickly and efficiently to make my visit most comfortable! This is the place to go! Great eyewear too. read more

Dental surgery this morning @8:00. Was a little late but they saw me right away. Dreading this all week because I am always in extreme pain after every major dental procedure. I have been hurt my entire life when it comes to Dentists. Dr. Galvez numbed me up while I wait for Dr. Johnson, both are very nice and professional. Dr. Johnson applied pressure to my tooth. He asked if I feel a sharp pain as I was about to tell him. He numbed me some more. Came back and said alright. He told me you are going to feel pressure and within 5 to 10 minutes, he popped the whole tooth out!!!!! WTF JUST HAPPENED... I'm waited for the hurt, the pain, the tooth cracked during procedure & all the things I have experienced before.. He was like nope we are done.. I broke down crying because of all of the apprehension that I had built up from my past experiences. He comforted me and made a joke. I had to ask the nurse to please show me the tooth because I couldn't believe it, I wouldn't believe it but there it is -- the tooth, whole extraction and I am done. Minimal bleeding so far I'm laid down for a bit because of the emotions but I woke back up around 12:30 pm with minor pain just taking Tylenol for the remainder of the day to starve off any pain once the pain injections wear off. If you are looking for a Dentist, please go visit this office . The whole office is nice. This is my ATLANTA DENTIST from now on. Thank you Dr. Johnson, Dr. Galvez and your amazing staff. I came across this dental office in a search for a more personal, and less corporate replacement for my prior dentist. I had an upcoming wedding that I wanted to explore a bit of cosmetic work for as well. My experience from the first visit was phenomenal. The office staff are extraordinarily friendly and professional, and the dental staff are thorough and empathetic. Like most, I do not enjoy dental work, but they truly made it more tolerable than any dentist I have previously used. They presented options with recommendations but no pressure, and followed up throughout the process. Most amazingly as a new patient, they remembered many details about me on my subsequent visits, including my wedding date! On my final visit before the wedding they even gave me a small wedding gift to really show their level of care. I had an appointment 12/16/20 @ 10am. On the 15th they call to say the office was exposed to covid and that they were closing until 12/28/20. I asked if I would be able to be seen before the year ended, as to not forfeit the visit covered by my insurance. I was told they would let me know. It's 1/5/21 and I have not received any communication from the office. I am honestly surprised by this as everyone is usually so friendly, but I suppose friendly doesn't mean competent. Additionally this means that whatever covid protocols they have in place are not effective. I'll be looking for a new dentist this year. read more

I've had an amazing experience with this practice thus far--Dr. Galvez has done two fillings for me and I'm scheduled for a routine cleaning in a few weeks. After a truly terrible experience with another dentist office close by (who told me that a deep cavity was an "old filling" and to not worry about it), it was a breath of fresh air to find Windy Hill. I almost cried happy tears after walking out from my filling appointment. They're professional, kind, painless, and reasonably priced, although I'd pay quite a bit more than they charge to have such a good, honest dentist! I am so glad I decided to visit Windy Hill Dentistry. I recently changed my insurance provider and was led to them through my provider, and upon walking in was greeted with a smile. Everyone is so incredibly friendly and I quickly called after filling out all the paperwork by Amanda - who was very knowledgeable and pleasant through the entire process. I am not a huge fan of the dentist, but Amanda had an amazing way of reassuring me of her process and methods as she worked, it was incredibly calming. There were no long waits in between x-rays, cleaning, and the dentist coming in to finish up the service. Dr. Roy was very friendly and diagnosed some issues I had been having while providing information for quick and positive turnarounds. Impressed.... Yesterday was my first visit to their office. Everyone was EXTREMELY nice and helpful. I was greeted as soon as walk through the door and not to long later was given a tour of the office. Dr. Galvez and his assistant were patient and explained everything to me. The dental hygienist Vanessa was sooooo sweet. She made me feel comfortable and I absolutely dread going to the dentist. Vanessa took her time with me and answered all of my questions I had. She even gave me advice and recommended products to me. By far this the best dentist office I have ever been to. I've been here a few times in the last couple of months and this is a very cool dentist office. The staff is super nice and they know my name when I walk in that's always good! This place is a disorganized circus of bumbling front desk workers. went 2x only bc close to area I planned on moving to, but I regret it. i still have the same issue even AFTER they worked on it. They have poor communication and customer service. availability is always months out, rush you out the door, poor document management. I updated my file with them and they mailed a bill to the wrong address and waited 6 months to tell me I had a balance. never called or emailed, BUT we're able to call me to book another appointment 4 months ago still never mentioned a bill. I requested my records to go elsewhere and then all of a sudden you have an unpaid bill. when I asked why they didn't notify me the response was "we mailed it to you" I inquired where and it was my old address. I stated that I updated my info with them and as such it should have gone to my new address. "we use only the information we have" it never dawned on them to email or call. read more

The staff was very nice and friendly,but the lack of updated tools they used made my experience horrible. I honestly think their just getting by "financially", which you can tell. When I was getting my teeth cleaned the sink was so loud anytime they used running water. They half cleaned my teeth because of the lack of supplies they had. They rinsed my mouth out with backing soda and had a towel covering my entire face with the mouth part opened. I felt like I was literally gasping for air. I wouldn't recommend this place to a man who's on his last tooth! Don't waste your time or money if your looking for a good quality dentist. read more
