I have been a very long-time customer of Mark Electronics. Through the years, no matter what kind of assistance that I needed, my calls were always met with kindness, courtesy, and a sincere attitude of helpfulness. Recently, I stopped by their office because I needed help in figuring out how to get the cameras in my father's home to play back past events. They were displaying live feed, but not past events. Unfortunately, the current system, as it was set up, did not reasonably support that capability. As my father ages, we definitely need to be able to go back in time and see what may have transpired. Especially, if he falls or misplaces something. Jenna and Bill were sitting at the desk as I came in. They were sincerely interested in helping me solve this dilemma. They brainstormed possibilities and came up with a few options. Adding in a new device to our existing system that would record activity 24/7 was the perfect solution. Understandably, there would be an added cost, but Jenna went out of her way to ask her boss to give me a significant discount, which I was so happy about because it made keeping my dad safe affordable. What struck me the most was the sincerity and compassion that both Jenna and Bill showed in trying to help me. They both appreciated and understood my concerns for my dad's well-being. The solution that they recommended, and which is now already installed, has been absolutely perfect. If we have any questions or concerns, we now have the capability to go back in time and view what took place. George and Todd installed audio equipment for my 90 year father. My father is still independent and lives by himself. He longed to listen to his cd's and to also stream music from his Direct TV, both inside and outside the house. I contacted George and told him how eager my father for the installation. Even though George was booked solid, he still fit my father into his schedule and brought out the equipment that was needed. George and Todd did a fantastic job in doing exactly what my father wanted done. Then George even went the extra mile to help my father understand how to work the equipment by writing the instructions down for my father to use as a reference. We were promised a camera system that would alert us when someone pulled in the driveway. After two months of the system not working as promised, they added another camera that would correct things. Even after the added camera things were not working as promised. On the fourth attempt, they sent out their "best technician" who promptly told us the system wouldn't work as promised and offered to remove the equipment. The salesperson who made the promises didn't return phone calls. The office staff didn't return phone calls. Time after time promises were made and not kept. Go some else these people don't know what they are doing. read more

I recently bought a home that had a security system that was being serviced by Mark Electronics. The previous homeowners were happy with Mark, so we decided to continue with their service. They have been great! Did not have to wait long for initial appointment, the tech they sent was very knowledgeable and friendly. He ran into 2 different problems and didn't want to leave until they were fixed properly. Went over directions patiently. A few weeks later after a short torrential downpour, my sump pump alarmed. Central station called within 20 seconds, maybe sooner. I have never had an alarm company in the past respond so quickly to an alarm! Central station gave me a contact number to get help with the sump if I would have needed it. I pay $10 less per month than what I paid in Colorado, and it includes alarm cell service ! Recently they needed to come into the house to adjust the system and the agent was extremely careful with safety issues, wearing a mask at all times and keeping social distancing . I was lucky enough to win a home security system from a friend's fundraiser; Mark Electronics was such a pleasure to deal with. Fast forward many years, we now feel part of the extended family. We upgraded our system - Jess called ahead of time to make sure the account is all current with contact information and to let me know what we would expect with the new system. She also called after installation to ask if I had any questions or concerns. Chad did an awesome job installing and answering my many questions, even those not pertaining to the alarm system. Today I feel like a little kid with a new toy being able to access my alarm on my phone or pc and feeling the satisfaction of knowing my alarm is reliable.
