Good luck trying to schedule an appointment here. The office staff was unprofessional... didn't answer, then didn't call back. Then once I finally got them on the phone they told me that they might have time sometime in the future but not sure but that I also needed to find a referral other than my dentist and insurance website but offered no help on how to do so. The entire staff, both techs and office, is friendly and helpful. They make it easy to come in for an appointment, evaluate your situation and explain insurance and costs very clearly. Dr. Craig not only explained the proceedure in detail, but also showed us the surgery room and told us what to expect post-surgery. Our son, Michael, needed 5 wisdom teeth extracted. Surgery was mid-afternoon, he had IV and gas sedation, it took approximately 15 - 20 minutes, and he left coherant and walking. We were given 3 prescriptions: Hydrocodone, Anti-Inflamatory and Antibiotics. It took approximately five days for a full recovery. Michael never needed the pain meds, he remained comfortable mainly from being numb. After the numbness wore off, the anti-inflamatory meds was enough. The pain management was exceptional. The stiches were disovable and gone within a week. Follow-up appointment revealed that everything was nearly healed. The entire process was easy. Just booked another appointment for our daughter to have her wisdom teeth extracted. I'll write another review after that surgery. We feel completely confident to go through this again with Dr. Craig and his wonderful caring staff. Do your homework and you will see not many "oral surgeons" have an excellent consistent reviews like Dr. Craig. read more

Unfortunately, I was warned not to go to Dr. Craig due to the unprofessionalism of his office staff by people in the industry. However, I didn't heed those warnings because of his reputation and reviews. Had we not scheduled my son's wisdom tooth removal during Spring Break and virtual school arranged with the school, I would have found another surgeon. While Dr. Craig was knowledgeable and explained the procedure thoroughly, you can definitely tell that this is routine for him. Again, I felt confident based on his reputation. The staff kept me updated during my son's procedure via text message. The two dental assistants that I interacted with and cared for my son were absolutely wonderful. They also call to follow up to check in on him and make sure the patient and mom are doing well. The communication amongst the office staff is lacking. I was told one set of Covid protocols by a staff member, but when my husband and I entered to discuss payment another staff member yelled at me instead of calmly speaking to me and her coworker that provided me the misinformation. On the day of the procedure, there was another miscommunication and this same employee was rude and completely unprofessional. Being in the healthcare industry, I would never treat my patients the way I was treated today. Even getting a school note is problematic. read more

Since the fall of 2018 through spring of 2019 I've had four procedures with Dr. Craig: removal of a failed root canal (caused by a dentist in Illinois), a bone graft in place of that molar, an implant on the bone graft, and most recently the removal of two wisdom teeth. Dr. Craig combines a "let's do this" attitude with patience, attentiveness, a willingness to field questions, and the ability to provide clear answers. He speaks to me like I have a positive IQ--and like he does. I've had plenty of doctors who make think that medical school can't possibly be that hard, so it's a confidence-builder to meet one who's obviously out of my league. The surgical results have been outstanding and there's been no post-op pain after any of the procedures. A little localized soreness after the wisdom teeth--on the level of a mild sore throat--but no discomfort to speak of. My encounters with Dr. Craig have been by far the best experiences I've ever had with any doctor, regardless of speciality. As for the office, it's very easy to get an appointment, the staff is uniformly competent, pleasant, and friendly, their policies are rational, and they answer the phone promptly without making you endure a bunch of "If this is an emergency, dial 911...We're located at the corner of...Please press one for X" crap. They just answer the phone like normal people. There's no waiting around for ridiculous amounts of time for your appointment, either. They don't waste your time here. Dr. Craig's office is unique in my experience in combining both an outstanding doctor and excellent support staff. I wouldn't dream of going anywhere else for dental surgery and it's just too bad that more medical offices aren't staffed and run like this one. read more

I have been using Dr Mark Craig for over 15 Years. He has taken out all of my children's wisdom teeth, 5 children:), he has cared for my elderly parents while they age and unfortunately lose teeth and he has even given me Botox!! Dr Craig gives the same professional care to wisdom teeth extraction as he does to Botox injections. The office manager, Laura, is always professional and empathetic to the sometimes nervous parents in the waiting room, her calmness is contagious. As often happens in doctors office there is turnover and over the 15 years of visiting this practice the customer service is always the same--impeccable and polite. I am very impressed by the careful care the staff has given during the course of COVID. As more challenges arise and hoops to jump through in order to maintain safety and health, the service and great medical care has not changed. This was hands down the best experience I have ever had with an MD. The schedule was running a little late as they were short staffed but that was explained and apologized for. My daughter had a quick pano x-ray, the PA took her med hx, and then we were quickly seen by Dr. Craig. His bedside manner is top notch and he gave such a thorough explanation on the procedure that we both had no questions. He even answered my daughter's question on tooth that may need some ortho without issue or extra charge. I can't say enough good things about this doctor and his amazing team! My primary dentist accidentally injected novocaine into my lingual nerve. Rare, but it can happen. I went to Dr. Craig in a panic because my tongue was totally numb on one side from the back of my mouth to the tip for days. Googled and did not like what I read. I was terrified feeling would never return and was very tearful at my first appointment. Dr. Craig was so sensitive, encouraging and reassuring. He saw me regularly for 6 months and ONLY charged me a one-time $85 consultation fee! At each visit, he showed me how I was recovering ever-so-slowly which gave me great hope. First of all it's hard to give anything involving teeth 5 stars especially an oral surgeon! But, Dr and his staff were just that good. I'm a pretty anal about good customer service and I must say this office has it right and just doesn't do the minimum they go beyond. What started off as a recommendation for just 2 chipped roots removed the Scan found more and the Dr found even more while I was under. A total of 8! During the entire process from initial consultation to follow up I found was well informed and no question was too dumb. I was super nervous but the Dr. and staff did their best at reassuring me and keeping me calm.
