When I first went here I was advised thay I should replace two older metal fillings that I had done many years ago. I was reluctant because they were not bothering me and felt great, but decided to go through and get the newer fillings done. Schedule with the doc and come in on appointment day. Was told they would only do one filling that day and not two. Not sure why, but okay. Filling done and scheduled for second filling. Show up and told that another doctor will be doing the filling. Not over thrilled with having multiple doctors as they each have their own way of doing things. Second filling done and its poor quality work. Sharp edge left, and not properly grinded down for bite. Cant feel that though since my mouth is numb. Had to reschedule to have that fixed. Went back in months later for a cleaning and again have a different doctor who does my care. I prefer to have the same doctor all the time, but having a different doctor each visit left me disappointed. To make matters worse, I write this a couple years after getting the fillings. The filling from the second doctor cracked and pieces broke off while eating. Went to a different dentists office who fixed the cracked filling and made mention that the other filling which wad done here was done poorly and re-filled that knew. Unfortunately, she retired last year, and we had been searching for someone we could trust to provide the same level of care. Thankfully, we feel like we struck gold after being referred by my former hygienist. I first contacted Dr. Martin's office about five months ago and was warmly greeted by Anetra. She confirmed that Dr. Martin accepted our insurance and was accepting new patients. She kindly made appointments for both my wife and me and also helped us get set up on their website so we could complete our registration online before our first visit. Anetra was helpful, professional, and welcoming throughout the entire process. We also love that Dr. Martin's office is less than a mile from our home! Fast-forward to our appointments. I had Jennifer as my hygienist, while my wife had Shannon. Both were familiar with our previous dentist and my former hygienist, which immediately helped us feel comfortable. They were friendly, thorough, and had a gentle touch while cleaning our teeth. Most importantly, we felt the same level of comfort and confidence that we had with our previous dental office. Then we met Dr. Martin, and our confidence only grew. He was incredibly friendly and professional, took the time to update our dental charts, and pointed out things about my teeth that I had never been made aware of before. We couldn't have been happier with our experience or more confident about becoming part of the Dr. Martin patient family! One thing we really don't like about some dental offices is feeling like you're just a number--a patient being moved through the office as quickly as possible, where quantity seems to take priority over quality. We also appreciate a practice that doesn't pressure patients into unnecessary or unexpected services, such as sealants, fluoride treatments, panoramic X-rays, or sensitive-gum treatments, particularly when those services may not be necessary or covered by insurance. Thankfully, we experienced none of that at Dr. Martin's office. We never felt pressured by Dr. Martin or any member of his staff. Instead, we felt that if a service were ever recommended, it would be because it was appropriate for our dental needs and would be clearly explained to us beforehand. That level of transparency is exactly what builds trust. We don't know if Dr. Martin's office is still accepting new patients, but if you're looking for a trustworthy, experienced, and genuinely caring dental practice, we couldn't recommend Dr. Martin and his team with greater confidence. When I arrived, the office was clean and welcoming, and the staff was warm and happy to greet me. Dr. Martin was incredibly kind, patient, and honest. After evaluating my tooth, he told me I'd need to see an endodontist -- which I assumed meant more delays. I called Dr. Burquez's office to see if they could help and if they could see me the same day. The person who answered the phone was incredibly kind and professional, and luckily, they were able to fit me in just a few hours later. I also asked for the price up front since I pay out of pocket and didn't want any surprises. The person on the phone gave me a straightforward answer, without playing the usual games like, "It depends on the crown," "We might need X-rays," or "We'll have to see the gums first." I've gotten quotes five times higher elsewhere, so hearing a clear and honest price was refreshing. When I arrived, I met the rest of the team -- two more girls at the front and the doctor's assistant -- and each one was nicer than the next. Then I met Dr. Burquez himself: kind, polite, and genuinely caring. Even though I was a brand-new patient coming in for what most would consider a small issue, he treated me like a VIP. While I was there, I also showed him a different tooth with a cracked crown. He took an X-ray -- free of charge -- and, because it was an implant under the crown, he recommended that I see a specialist just to make sure everything was stable. He could've easily just sold me a new crown and made some quick money, but instead, he gave me honest advice and even recommended two other doctors to consult. He and his staff took their time, no rush, no pressure -- even taking the time to search for their contact info. In the end, the price I paid was exactly what they quoted over the phone -- no hidden fees, no extra charges for the X-ray or the extra work (and it ended up being a full bridge, not just one crown). It's rare these days to find a doctor who actually cares about his patients, loves what he does, and isn't just in it for the money. This dentist office is negligent. This idiot put implants in with glue but refused, no matter how…read moremany times it came out, to put in permanent glue. He gave us glue to take home and then yelled at me for gluing it. The worst part, I bit into a soft tortilla and swallowed the bridge.
