I was whisked away to a table for 1 facing the open-air kitchen, and reveled in ever minute of my experience. I'd say the menu definitely has Asian influences, and done very well. Both the food and cocktails were fantastic. For dinner: *Bread selection (soft and crunchy selections including seaweed crackers) *Crab Cracker (the perfect bite to start the meal) *Blue Lobster, Fried Rice & Marrare sauce (beyond tasty, so balanced) *Chocolate Crémeux, Banana Ice Cream & Sesame (so incredibly good, almost indescribable how delectable this tasted) Service was excellent, and even as the restaurant was winding down, I never felt rushed. During my dinner I saw a family ask to take a photo with the kitchen staff which was warmly obliged. It put a big smile on my face as I observed- just represented the energy of why I loved my experience. Everyone was gracious/kind, the food had soul, and the service felt elite. In the morning, I also dined here and was really surprised by how the food was just as strong. I still dream about my scrambled eggs with mushroom & coriander, one of the best breakfast dishes I've had in recent memory. Not only that but the view on the Terrace was phenomenal at that hour, as was the attentive service. I left fully and happy...and they even generously gave me a couple of baked goods to go, which was such a sweet, nice touch. Bravo to the entire staff at BAHR. Consider me fully impressed.

The seating area is tight so you will be squeezing between other diners. If you can get past this small condition you will love it. Everyone was friendly and enjoying their food. The service was friendly and quick. We ordered grilled cod fish with potato and veggies and the goat stew daily special. The cod fish meat was so tender and delicate. Very delicious and melts in your mouth. Goat stew was like home cooked meal. You can taste the love and authentic flavours. We also ordered the dry cured ham which went perfectly with the fresh bread they served. The coffee was ok but nothing to write home about. The red wine was great and we finished the half bottle with ease. We will definitely come back and try some other dishes as we love to support the small local restaurant owners. Great food with unbeatable prices.

Waited less than 30 minutes before being sat and as a bonus, we got to pick from two tables. One near the kitchen and the other near the register. Both highly trafficked, but with this quaint location, there wasn't much of an option. Pretty much a tapas bar with only a limited beer and wine menu. Loved the wall artwork plastered allover. Even the toilet was graffiti encouraged. I got the house red while my wife got the filtered house water (not free but cheaper than the bottled ones). Our small plates were: 1. CFC (Cesar's Fried Chicken) which was a tender deep fried chicken stuffed with Cesar's salad dressing and smothered in parmesan. 2. Grilled Spanish Octopus. Still drooling about how succulent and flavorful this lone tentacle was. 3. Chips with steak pepper sauce. First time having DF potatoes with black pepper sauce and it was one for the books. 4. Carrot Cake with chocolate sauce. Wife's choice. T'was another winner. We wanted to come back for this dessert alone but sadly time limitations happened.
