Esmeralda was the person that was taking my order. After having a busy week, I decided to get out of my comfort zone and try the ceviche place. It is definitely a hole in the wall, and deserves more recognition. Parking is provided, and there is a patio where you can eat there. Upon bringing my mango ceviche home I opened it and was surprised how much they gave me. To give you some insight I just ate two tostadas and I still have more than half of the ceviche left. Service: 5/5: Even though you order through the ipad, the lady in the food truck answered our questions and gave us some recommendations. After we sat down to eat, the owner came up to us to see if we needed anything. Friendly and great service Food: 5/5: We ordered a ceviche and aguachiles and they were both filled with flavor and so fresh. At first it doesn't seem like a lot of food, but it definitely is. YALL!! Im speechless. This is the best ceviche in Austin TX. Better than el Bucanero & Seareinas. The sauce was so good my favorite was the green one. The service is attentive. The owner would come out and check on us as well as brought our devices to scare away flys. This was the best aguachile I've had in a long time! The sauces were bursting with flavor and had the perfect blend of spice. Everything tasted incredibly fresh and true to the recipe. I also loved the green sauce on the side - it was the perfect addition. Along with our entrees, we also ordered agua de sandia (watermelon water). This was also very delicious and perfect for the Texas heat! We also had the opportunity to meet the owner, Sergio. He stopped by our table to make sure we were enjoying everything and shared some background on the food, which made the experience even better. Easily the best seafood in Austin area. We had the ceviche carreta and kora and they were fresh and pretty much perfect didnt have to add anything. We also had a aguachile tostada both roja and verde they were also both really good but my favorite was the verde. Ill be coming back for sure to try more stuff and recommend it to anyone that has doubts. read more

Overhyped and underwhelming. Even though they had some shade, it was still way too hot to enjoy anything. Sitting there felt like baking in a slow oven--not the vibe you want while waiting for food. I ordered to-go, and they didn't even bother to put it in a bag--just handed me my food like I was supposed to juggle it back to my car. Communication was slow and unorganized, which made the wait even more frustrating. And the ceviche? Definitely not worth it. I've had better from random spots, and honestly, I could make a fresher, tastier version at home. I don't get the hype. Won't be coming back. read more
