I went there today to celebrate Father's Day with my dad. Our waiter was Luis and his service was excellent. He recommended the filete marinero and let me tell me you it was delicious! Their fish tostadas and aguachilies are pretty tasty, though I can't really say the same about their carne asada plates. A bit overpriced in my opinion, but it's overall an ok place. My only complaint is that in one of my visits, when the lady brought me my water there were a few tiny black things floating around. Let me say first that the food was great but The service here was horrible. As my personal experience the atmosphere feels unwelcoming. My family and I walked in and none of the workers said hello or offered to seat us or told us to sit where we like. After we sat down ourselves I heard the bartender tell one of the waitresses loud and clear "she shouldn't be working here, she is too slow can't even handle one table. She should work at McDonald's" I turned around and he stared at me straight into my eyes and looked away. I already felt uncomfortable that he would say that so loud he followed by calling out a waitresses attention by calling her "nigga". None of the waitresses ever smiled or greeted us. And the waitress we had not once asked if we needed something I had to get up 4 times to ask for things and when I would say thank you she never said you're welcome. Here on Valentine day for dinner. I was expecting a wait obviously. The live music was nice, place was packed! We sat at the bar since the wait was at least 30 min. Everyone at the bar looked mad and like they did not want to be there. No one even offered something to drink. BUT, There was a obvious ray of sunshine. One of the bartender had a great smile and made eye contact and apologized for the delay and offered some drinks. This bartender made us want to stay and enjoy the evening. First time customers, Brought Dad for his Bday and they happen to have Mariachi on Sunday's which was perfect! The restaurant was very busy but the Manager happened to find us seats right away! Which was really nice since we where a party of 8. Our Server was super sweet and attentive she kept bringing out our drinks and asking if we needed refills. The Michelada was Amazing and so was the Cantarito Original, this drink wasn't too strong but dang it definitely hits you once you finish it lol! The only thing I can say they need to work on is bringing out the food all together, some of the people in our group had to wait about 5 more minutes and although I can't complain because my plate came out first and my Dads which was very delish and OMG the fresh tortillas! They have a lady in front making fresh corn and flour tortillas! Yasss! Will definitely be coming back the Drink menu is outrageous tons of stuff to order! Will come back to try more!!! They brought my bf food fairly quickly(hot plate) (15)minutes or so, they took about 45 minutes to bring mine (cold plate). I was not happy. Not to mention there was a roach crawling on the wall. It was disgusting. We were sitting on the table that had #44. The couple sitting next to us had just sat down when they seen the roach and left. We were in the middle of eating. The waitress came over and we explained that the couple had left Most likely due to the roach. We showed her a video we had recorded of the roach. We didn't get an apology or anything. I get the whole live music adding great atmosphere but it's too loud when you are forced to text the person beside you to pass the chips and salsa.
