For those that aren't familiar with the restaurant's concept, it centers around Gulf Coast (LA, FL, AL, MS, TX) Cuisine. The decor alone gave you a Gulf Coast vibe with a blues and RB sound track setting the mood. Outside of the main entrance is a patio/lounge area with comfortable furniture where you can unload and socialize when the weather is great. Most Pappadeaux locations have one of these. We were seated upon our walk-in entry, in the bar area which was still very active as closing time approached. From past experiences I do recommend getting a reservation though. Our server De'Ja was attentive and welcoming proving excellent service! We really appreciated it De'Ja!! Our dinner began with a glass of Sauvignon Blanc and an Old Fashioned. Next up was the Roasted Oysters which were piping hot and delicious!! Our entrees included the Seafood Cobb Salad (red onion, bleu cheese, egg, avocado, tomatoes, house vinaigrette & creamy vinaigrette) minus bacon and Wild-Caught Grouper Creole (spicy seared grouper, jumbo shrimp, buttered heirloom grits, and creole sauce (featuring okra). Both were well seasoned, tasty and served hot! Since we'd been traveling all day this meal hit the spot! On visits to the area we've tried the Norcross, Lawrenceville, and Marietta locations. I might give the nod to Marietta for better parking.

Parking is pretty tight, but once you're inside, the restaurant setup is amazing--big, spacious, super inviting vibe that screams fun Southern/Cajun energy. The staff was great, attentive, and really knowledgeable about the menu. The menu is real-deal Southern seafood with that authentic New Orleans flair, and everything tastes like it's cooked from scratch--no premade sauces or generic junk here. Quality was top-notch: fresh ingredients, made to order, and portions are generous. The fried shrimp and fried chicken were absolutely bomb--crispy, flavorful perfection . The catfish was well-prepared and flaky, but the real star of the show was the red beans and rice--rich, smoky, and just outstanding. Drinks are highly potent (in the best way) and the pricing isn't ridiculous for what you get. This wasn't my first, second, or even close to my last time here--Pappadeaux consistently delivers, and I'll be back again and again! Highly recommend if you're craving that true Southern seafood fix.

Some things were awesome like their pizzabirria is not to be missed, and the salsa is very very good. The cheese dip was delicious To be fair to them we ordered to go... never as good as eating in. We ordered a lot of food 9 orders of fajitas. The chicken and The shrimp were good ...but the steak (we ordered rare /pink) was raw inedible and unbelievably fatty (60% fat 40% meat) the meat was completely unseasoned so we didn't even bother trying. Truly disappointing . If we were eating in we would have asked for it to be cooked . I specifically asked for no sour cream in or on anything and they put sour cream in the guacamole. Don't bother with their house special guac because it's not seasoned with salt or lime, too chunky and more tomato and onion than avocado. guacamole has a creamy texture and this didn't. The people who could eat dairy/sour cream ate their regular guacamole and said it was tasty. I asked for everything to be separated and no cheese on anything and the beans were served with cheese. Again the people in my family who are dairy free couldn't eat it. If I hadn't been so specific while ordering, I wouldn't even hesitate to give this Restaurant an extra star. But I made sure when I walked in to ask if somebody had reviewed the order to make sure there was no dairy in anything. They also assured me that the new server had looked at everything and made sure that there was no dairy added, that anything dairy was on the side. They were hosting a salsa and bachata class when I walked in and it looked like fun!

I've seen this place on TikTok a few times and added it to my list. Since I was up in the area, I…read moredecided to give it a try and I was happy I did. The location is Self-Serve, so you can order at a Kiosk or over the Phone. Once the order is ready, they place it in these ready lockers, similar to what you see at Inspire Brand or food hub pickup spots. You enter a code or click a link and it releases the lock on the pickup to take your order. Very cool, very fun. The location has a few tables to eat at, but I get the feeling the location is not really intended to be an earin space and more of a "Order to go". However, lots of space and you could easily bring a crowd here if that's your thing. The food I ordered was actually a winner in my book. For this order, I ordered the Crawfish Cheesey Pasta or whatever, the second part of my order was their $10 for 10 wing deal. I want to start with the wings. I don't know if you guys have had much luck ordering wings lately but the cost at most locations for seasons wings has been attrocious. $10 for 10 is a phenominal deal in regard to wings at this moment. On top of that, the wings I got were average size, but well over the size of some of these locations selling wings for almost $2 a peice. There is a good bit of options for the wings, I got the plane and lemon peper hot and I was very happy with that decision. The bluecheese was a good pair with this. Awesome job for wings in my opinion. The Crawfish Pasta was pretty great too. A good portion of meat included. Obviously pre-picked crawfish, but I really can't complane since we're in Atlanta and not Louisiana. The pasta was aldenta and not overcooked, huge win on this. That means it wasn't really sitting in place for too long and made fresh. The pepper and onions in mine were nicely sauted and overall, the flavor of the cheese sauce and creol seasoning was good. This place is an incredible value for what you pay. The comments I see that are less than 2-3 stars are silly. Honestly, how have you not eaten wings and gotten a feather or root of one? What's it matter? It's a dead bird, you can only do so much. eat around it. Also, salt is good. :D Have fun Atlanta!

I've passed by this place a few times in the past and finally decided to give it a try. I ordered…read moreonline and got the Cajun lobster roll, lobster cream sauce, seafood eggroll, a lemonade, and a side of Cajun butter sauce. When I arrived for pickup, the atmosphere was cool and I really liked their locker system because it made grabbing my order quick and convenient. I didn't have to speak to anyone to get my order, so I didn't factor service into this review. Now with the food, unfortunately, everything | ordered was disappointing despite all of the positive reviews I had seen. The lobster roll and seafood eggroll were underwhelming in both flavor and overall impact, and the lobster cream sauce and Cajun butter sauce were extremely salty to the point where I couldn't finish them. The lemonade was very sweet, but I'm also not counting that in my rating since it's Minute Maid and that company tends to be inconsistent anyway. Before writing this review, I went back and read a few others and noticed someone else mentioned their food being too salty as well. I'm not sure if this is a common issue or just an off day, but for the price, I don't feel confident taking that risk again. Overall, I really wanted to enjoy this place, but based on my experience, I'm not sure I'll be returning.
