I'm really excited that I found this little place on the way to Yosemite. Your other options for a quick bite in Oakhurst are pretty limited, so this is a great find. They have a great variety of very good tacos, burritos, and seafood. The salsas are great. I'm still working my way through the menu, but I stop here every time I go to Yosemite (which is often). My favorite meat so far is the adobada in a burrito, but the fish tacos are good, too. Definitely worth checking out if you're in the area. We've gone here a few times and always gotten burritos. I guess because of all the stuff in the burritos we've never noticed just how lackluster their meats are. Today my husband got their meat plate with carnitas and I got their chicken flautas. The meat was dry. There was no flavor whatsoever. No salt, no seasoning, nothing. Eaten there a few times now; Food and service is always good, food prep area looks clean, closest thing to authentic in Oakhurst. Very accommodating for special ordering and fair pricing. Only negative is that they do not keep the condiments bar stocked well and dining area is not as clean as it used to be when we first started eating here. Visited Oakhurst and figured we would grab a quick bite before contining on our travels.This was our second choice as the first place we tried to fo to was closed. My personal option was this place is not "real Mexican food". The food lacked flavor, accept for their carne asada, and it's nothing like authentic Mexican food I grew up with. Such a let down. Very were tired after the visit to Yosemite, so we want to grab something fast. This place has good authentic Mexican food. The tables were not clean, because they were busy and no time to clean the tables. Since this restaurant is considered as a fast food restaurant, so we didn't expect very clean. Food served fast and the lady on the cash register was very helpful. We visited on Tuesday. They were out of carnitas. I ordered a langue burrito and my husband ordered a 3 carne asada taco and a drink special. They all very good. My husband went back and tried their tripa. Excellent breakfast burrito and real chunky guacamole. We stopped in before 9:00 and they fed us. No coffee here for breakfast but there was no problem getting coffee next door. The potatoes were hot & crisp in my burrito which I love. Very tasty rice and beans as well. After a weekend in Yosemite this was authentic Mexican comfort food. read more

This was going to be the 3rd time I've tried this place but I couldn't get myself to place my order. My 1st two times I had a chicken burrito (both times) and the chicken was bland, the pico was bland, the burrito was just disgusting. This time we walk in, we were never greeted, no staff member even acknowledged us as they were talking about how dirty their bathrooms were with some random person. When the cashier finally gets to the cash register she turns back to the random person and says "hell no, I run this sh**". My husband and I walk out. I have you guys 3 chances. Asada Fries were great.. But the Carne Asada Supreme Burrito was spectacular. Their steak meat has a nice char on it and is flavorful.

Stopped here late night while in Oakhurst. Was very clean and a new restaurant so perfect for sitting down for a quick meal. We ordered a Colima burrito and some Asada nachos. Been there a bunch of times. It keeps getting worse! The place is dirty! YUK! The employees don't seem to care about customer service. Once saw one of them pull up in the parking lot and take some big clear plastic bags of what looked like carne asada out of the trunk and bring it into the restaurant and put it in the fridge. What's great place! We were on our way home from Yosemite and found it on Yelp. The tortillas were so fresh and light. The meats and fish fillings were also fresh and tasty. The food is acceptable and the prices are very reasonable. The beans weren't tasteful. The shrimp tacos and rice were good. I had my doubts about the restaurant when I walked in and saw the mess at the trash can and the floor. I first thought they were so busy throughout the day that they had no time to clean. However, there was no one in the restaurant except us for over 20 minutes, and no one cleaned up. One cashier was sitting at a table on her phone. The other one disappeared. When they were together, they talked. The cashier was rude. When I said yes to a copy of the receipt, she held it near her so I had to reach for it. I'm not coming back here. read more
