UPDATE AS OF 4/7: James did contact me on 3/29 and was very…read moresympathetic to my experience with Ad Fast Transport LLC, which he told me he would hold accountable to the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration. He also offered to reimburse me for my Uber expenses, which I also appreciated. Overall, the experience still wasn't the best but I can appreciate the apology and actions that came afterwards from the Car Carriage. **Full transparency: I have updated my review from two stars to four following the update.** This was my first time using an auto transport company and I decided to use the Car Carriage based on a solid review from a family friend. During my initial consultation via online system and call, the company was very responsive. James was a great help to understand what the process would be like and get an accurate look at the total costs. I also appreciated that I did not have to pay anything upfront until the car was delivered. The Car Carriage is based in Texas and they use contractors around the country to pick up your car. The contractor I used, Ad Fast Transport LLC is based in Maryland and dealing with them was the worst experience. First off, leading up to my pick-up date, I heard nothing from Ad Fast. The Car Carriage provided their contact information so I reached out and a representative named Josy picked up. Josy seemed very unorganized and unprofessional during our call and had no idea when the driver would arrive to pick up my car. This was a problem because I had a flight back to Maryland in less than four days and needed my car picked up before I left. I had to consistently call Josy to get an idea of when the driver could pick up my car. It was originally scheduled for pick up on 3/15 but it wasn't picked up until 3/17. However, this wasn't the biggest issue. The biggest issue was when I recieved a text from Josy asking me if I could meet the driver 25 minutes west from the original pickup location in a very rural area. I was very skeptical of this unprofessionalism, however, like I said before, I needed my car gone before my flight. So I agreed and drove to the location. The driver was very sweet about it all but I learned he was planning to come to the original location but was told by Josy not to. Getting back to my original location was a pain as temperatures were in the single-digits and there was no ubers or lyfts available until an hour later so I had to wait in a local motel until I could find a driver to take me home. My car was safely delivered to the contacting company but I was out $52 from the Uber and had to wait an hour in an unfamiliar part of town. When I asked Josy, how I would get home once I gave my car, her only response was "I don't know." When I reached back out to James and the Car Carriage for a response, I have yet to receive an email as of 3/24. There is no accountability and the lack of communication from all involved parties has been disheartening and frustrating to say the least. Luckily, my car was delivered safely to the listed location in a timely fashion on 3/21. However, this experience has been so traumatizing and horrific that I would not recommend the Car Carriage or any of its contractors to anyone.

DOUBLE BROKER ALERT…read more Rate did not match what customer actually had a contract with them. We verified directly with the customer at the pickup. The Car Carriage LLC refused to fix the issue and instead threatened us with negative if we didn't pick up the car, or pay $300 to avoid it. Unprofessional, dishonest, and a waste of time. Carriers beware--high risk of scam and double brokerage.

This company is awful. I would highly recommend not using them. TPS rips customers off,…read moreovercharges, & treats them poorly. Plus they add fees for brokering deals with shipping companies they hire. TPS is in the middle and TPS doEA not actually do the shipPing. TPS uses Central Dispatch to contract drivers to handle jobs and then TPS adds a large fee. TPS does nothing to earn that fee. Paying them is a complete waste. You can hire a transport company directly in central dispatch.com. Paying a fee would be ok, if they were any good. but they aren't. Highly recommend staying away from them!

I am pretty convinced that these positive reviews were written by friends and family of the owners…read more I have had nothing but a bad experience and it continues to be so as am still waiting on my car, calling Bobby and Dave repeatedly with no answer or call back for days now. I want to be clear I believed I was hiring Allied Moving, I dropped it at an Allied lot, with an Allied employee. It was not until I was on the road to my new home cross country (I was two states away at the time) and payment was demanded that I was told this was third party. So I had no choice in the matter. I dropped it on June 30th and had a 7 to 10 day window of drop off. It is now July 16th. On July 14th my husband called to see what the situation was and when to expect the delivery. He was told by Dave that "no one wants to pick up your car" which was confusing at the time as they are an AUTO TRANSPORT COMPANY, but a statement that now seems pretty clear as they don't pay out people who transport for them, based on reviews I have now seen. I have resorted to calling Allied and having them ATTEMPT to get a hold of these two as I have paid in full, have no idea where my car is, if it has even moved locations, if it is still even known where it is or when, if ever, it will get here. Right at this moment it seems like my car has been stolen and I have been duped out of quite a lot of money, much more than other companies were charging. My advice so far is STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY, that is if you care at all about receiving your car or even knowing where it is. So to reiterate: Dropped my car at an Allied lot on June 30th, paid in full, was given a 7-10 day window of delivery, it is July 16th and still no car. Called Bobby and Dave MULTIPLE times with no response or call back. Should this change I would be happy to update this review, however I am not exactly optimistic at this moment and will be looking into legal recourse should this continue.
