In the end, my daughter was set on one of the first dresses she saw. We purchased everything - the dress, petticoat, shoes, and headband. We were in and out in about 30 minutes. Daughter's face says it all. I was pleasantly surprised to see that there were great dresses at all price points, including some extremely affordable and gorgeous dresses on sale in the back of the shop. In response to some negative reviews - Some of these dresses are very elaborate and delicate. I was clear with my daughter to handle with care and only pick up dresses she was really interested in trying on. Being respectful of the merchandise was the least we could do. Her shop wasn't difficult to find and there was plenty of parking in front. On my first appointment, I wore my dress for her and she asked what I had envisioned. She also had a helper, measure and record everything. She had hemmed the length of my dress, created a bustle in the style I wanted, and also added long sleeves to my dress. We took our measurements, sent her inspiring photos, and paid for half of my bill. On our second appointment, she had me wear the dress and walk around to checked the length. She taught my maid of honor how to attach the bustle and how to help fluff the dress. She asked my maid of honor to record her, so on my wedding day, she can refer to the video. Olga's pricing is very reasonable and sensible. She is fully communicative with the entire process and timely! She ensures the safety of your dress, too. I did overhear other conversations with customers and informed that most of the sizes carried are only small to large (being the biggest) not sure if it was for particular dress as I did notice xlarge on some racks. They had a bunch of informal and formal dresses ranging from $20-$100+ from knee length to ankle length. As I had my heart set one item... I did not take much time to browse the other isle of clothes other than a quick breeze around the store and a mental note to check them out when I came back around. The dresses they receive are either from other bridal stores, sample sales, or on consignment, so the prices were super reasonable. I brought along two people and they were comfortably situated while I tried on dresses. I went through the racks and Trinity helped pill out the ones I was interested in, and then helped swap them out in the dressing room so that it wouldn't be too overwhelming. When it came time to get alterations for my wedding dress done, I was really stressed about finding the right place to go. I decided to use Winsome, and I am SO glad I did. Yilo executed the alterations flawlessly (bringing in the bust, adding tulle sleeves, and adding a bustle that caused the dress to drape beautifully). And I found the price to be very reasonable in comparison to other quotes I received. We're lucky to have this shop in San Diego!
