Terry took the time to get to know us, understand what we were looking for and put together a design that was absolutely perfect. All of the communication from Rachel and Kent before, during and after the project was prompt, detailed and accurate. They communicated even the tiniest little change to the schedule and the only changes to the schedule were made because work was being done faster than expected. Everyone who worked on the project (Mike, PJ, Dustin, Tim...I'm sure I'm missing some folks) were super respectful of our home and awesome to have around. Minor touch ups after completion have been handled promptly. We would not hesitate to use them again!

They almost lived up to the high bar their other reviews showed. I was surprised by this carelessness after reading other great reviews from various online sites.

Definitely the place to go if you want mold in your attic…read more Bought a townhome in 2014 that had the entire complex's roof done by these guys. First of all, they didn't do a tear off, but put plywood on top of the existing roof. There was so much debris left over in the attic, as well. Guess the building went with the lowest bid, so you get what you paid for. At any rate, they closed up all the roof vents with the plywood and installed ridge venting. I suppose this would work if the intake vents at the eaves were big enough to actually suck in the air, but since the roofers installed these tiny circular vents, no air was coming in the vent the attic. As a result, there is mold growing in the attics of all the townhomes. Of the 4 units that have gone for sale, all inspectors found mold. Because of the age of these buildings, the bathrooms were not properly vented out, but vented into the attic. That is why there were vents on the roof, as the bathroom exhausts were pointed toward these openings. Because these roofers closed them up, moisture was trapped and mold resulted. I had another roofer inspect the job this company did, and he informed me that the poor ventilation from the so-call ridge venting is perpetuating the problem. So I contacted the roofers and they claimed to have NO responsibility for the mold or the poor job they did on the roof. He refused to put in roof vents and claimed it wasn't their problem. I have since remediated the mold and have had roof vents put back into MY unit, but the other 7 have not. It's so sad that this company could care less about the health of their customers and would knowingly put people at risk like this. I'm going to look into this matter further and see if legal action can be taken. Update: Their response: Hah. Tgat some of reason whay we never do a second layer of shingles. I cant provide roof warranty for my customers If i didnt remove existing layers

Find another contractor - its too large of an investment - too many negative reviews!!!!…read moreI am first time reviewer for any product or service. Potential clients need to be aware of working with this company We had a horrible experience with Exquisite. 1. Poor communication - they didnt respect our time. told us multiple times they would be at our house in one hour and then would call 3 hours later saying they couldn't make the appointment. then we would have to follow-up to reschedule. 2. Subs - several of their subs were unprofessional and disparaged the owners while on the job site. 3. Quality - miscut stone and then tried to convince us that it was ok and told us about other imperfections in our house....or to "Cover up the mistake with a plant" lol. When we asked for the stone to be replaced at their cost, they said it was too late and that they would provide a discount instead. They do not value quality or service. 4. While we were negotiating a final price (based on contractor error) they filed a lien on our property.... before the work was even complete. Horrible ethics. After payment in full, still didnt complete the work. and we do not want them to come back in our home after this experience. I highly recommend finding a reputable contractor to work with on your renovation.

Six hour into the removal I asked; What are you guys doing and how long is this going to take? (note it would take them 4 days at this rate) I called the company about it and received no answer, called the Forman got no answer and I could not communicate with the workers because of a language issue. With that said I gave them my power tool to do the job they removed the tile in 6 hours yet left the cement board attached. Asked the company about the cement board and if they can tile over. They said NO. Then I asked for quotes on the tile. Flash forward 12 Days, got the quote and it was extremely high so I decided to not do it. AT that point I asked them since the demo included cement board and I rented the guys my tools so What is the new price? Considering that the company breached the contract I offered them a fair price to compensate the work completed, he replied with NO you pay me $2350 or I will sue you. Going as far to tell me it cost them 1000$ of garbage. During the whole process the quote was shady (done over text) , work was shady and incomplete and most important communication was AWFUL!!!!! I would completely avoid them unless you prepare yourself to get taken advantage, have awful communication and have mid to lower level work done.

Vic advised the carpet price per square foot included Carpet, Pad and installation. I discussed that we would remove the old carpet and leave the tack strips. The company sent out a third party to measure the job (64.67 sq yards). Boy was I shocked when I saw the written estimate sent to me ( attached below ). $4848.84 which included up charges for measuring the job, $102.59; 2 up charges for installation, $895.27 and $723.71 and new tack strips $233.17. ( so much that these were suppose to be included). Went back to store and spoke to Dina the manager who said those up charges shouldn't be shown on the estimate, they were for internal use only. She redid the estimate (attached below) not showing the up charges and reduced the cost by about $500 ( so much for clear honest pricing on the new estimate). As a retired 30+ year contractor I had an idea for about how much the job should cost ( around $3000 ). I left the store and went to Carpet Outlet , Dundee Road; Palatine. (40 years same Location). Spoke to Jim the owner and gave me an estimate for same quality pet resistant carpet from Mohawk with stain and wear warranty: for $2800 give or take a $100 after the measurement on this Monday (no charge for measurements). Beware on your purchases and check around for pricing. Don't be fooled.

I definitely would not mind them coming back to do more work on my house! The end product of both bathrooms was phenomenal, especially my master bathroom. Even after our bathrooms were finished, Frank has made it clear that if there are any issues that come up, we could reach out to him. I never expect him to respond right away, but he makes it clear that he cares about his craft and his customers. Thank you, Frank, Jason, and Dakota, for transforming our bathrooms!
