One of the rudest people/places I been to. I had an appointment but I was sick and I called to tell them I couldn't make it. They got mad I didn't go but come on Covid is still out there. Then a few days later I had another appointment and I forgot the time and called I don't know how many times and not one answer. I wound up here as a result of a work-related back injury. I met with the male PT who assessed my problem and and determined the correct treatment protocol for my healing. He prescribed ultrasound and electric stimulation. Unfortunately, the ultrasound technician was not skilled in her practice (I have had plenty of previous experiences with ultrasound) it seemed she didn't know how to administer the treatment properly. After she was done, a second technician came in to administer the electrical stimulation-she seemed to know what she was doing and the treatment went well. However, at the end, she gave me a handout with the exercises I was supposed to do at home. She did not explain or go over them with me, which seems to be on the irresponsible side of things--if done incorrectly, I could re-injure myself. read more

Bill is a jewel in Marina. He and his staff are awesome. Had work accident (they dealt with WC) 2010-12, he knee surgery at Stanford doc wasvthrilled with PT treatment. Had bi-lateral hip replacement (15-16) again Stanford doc was thrilled with treatment-progress. Got hit in car and had hand injury due to air bag deployment. I have been to Marina Physical Therapy for several different injuries (workers comp injuries and just getting old injuries). I have to say that Bill and his team are always kind, caring and attentive and just nice to be around. I've been to other physical therapists that seem to spend most of their time talking to each other more than they do their patients. Bill and his staff make me feel like I'm very important to them. I always feel better after being there. If I didn't, I wouldn't have been back to him with all my different issues, in fact I'm getting ready to go back again. Incredibly overpriced, with no transparency in pricing. I made one appointment because of biceps tendonitis. By the time my appointment date came, I was almost fully recovered. The therapist did the exam and agreed that everything looked good, and then proceeded to do a 10-minute massage and show me a couple of exercises. So far, so good. But then I got the bill: $750 for a one-hour visit! That included $226 for that 10-minute massage, and $155 for showing me how to do an upright row on a weight machine, something that I could have done for no additional cost at my gym. I will never seek physical therapy again unless I need to recover from surgery. If you have a minor condition, do not go to this center. Instead, search on YouTube and treat yourself, or shop around for a more reasonable place. At the very least, ask at every stage of the appointment if what the therapist is doing will lead to an additional charge. read more

I recommend Marina Physical Therapy and give them 5 stars! A few months ago I injured my knee. I was first sent to Montage Wellness Physical Therapy in Marina prior to surgery and found it very unpleasant, impersonal and more of a factory. After surgery I was sent to Marina Physical Therapy. WHAT A DIFFERENCE! Bill and his staff are extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and will work with your schedule. I didn't have to wait weeks for an appointment. During therapy they are right there ready to answer question, give guidance and are keeping track on any pain or discomfort. Once the workout is completed Bill gently checks out the flexibility and measures the progress on the strengthening of my knee and gives the area a bit of a massage, checking for tender areas and scare tissue. Then the "TENS" unit is used along with ice for 15 minutes. At any other PT facility, like Montage in Marina, I was paced through exercises and that was it. There was never any checking after for discomfort or icing or "TENS". Nothing. I am so very happy I found this place!! read more

Jennifer Wilson at Marina Physical Therapy is an outstanding P.T. ! She is unpretentious and knows her stuff. While she is kind and friendly, she is also a dedicated healer. With the right amount of thoughtfulness and understanding she offers a well-planned and thorough therapy session. I had surgery on my arm and needed help afterwards with range of motion among other things. When I felt too much pain to complete the exercise, I still left better off than I started ( due to her appropriate amount of professional persuasion). I was fortunate to find this therapy and am better off for it. read more
