It's easy to make/reschedule appointments, and they send helpful reminders, which I really appreciate. The staff are kind, friendly, and even send you home with a little gift bag . Importantly, they're completely transparent about costs upfront, and I had zero issues with my insurance. I have serious teeth grinding/TMJ issues, and they took the time to fill any small cracks that could turn into cavities. They're also the *first* dentist I've ever had who didn't charge hundreds of dollars for a custom night guard. The one they made has held up so well. I called today to ask a few questions since I want to find a new dentist. The person answering did not identify the office until I asked. I was never treated as rudely as I was just now. She assumed I was a telemarketer, I guess. I gave her my name and she said she did not want to talk to me and was eating her lunch. I asked for her supervisor and she said she did not have a supervisor. I can't imagine her very getting any customers that would call in wanting to ask a few questions before making a hard decision on a dentist. I was very impressed with the speed and quality of my experience at this office, I was able to make an appointment and see the dentist the same day. The visit was for a cleaning and check up, the process was friendly and prompt, I waited less than 10 min in the waiting room and the cleaning was thorough and professional. I was recommended to have a filing replaced but I had received the same diagnosis over a year ago, the difference was the dentist told me I had a year or so before it needed to be done. I was happy to experience a honest dentist that clearly wasn't out to collect money but to keep me informed. Regarding dental work, Dr. Marina is very professional. Every time I come in I am called to the back with essentially no wait time. Her team immediately gets to work on the preparation and as soon as Dr. Marina walks in the room, everything is ready. With any situation presented, Dr. Marina thoroughly explains my options, and honestly and respectfully lets me know what can wait, and what might be best to get work on right then...yet always lets me have the final choice without me feeling pressured. To me this is very important, as that gesture shows she is an honest dentist who understands her patients as more than just patients, but also as people. On this, a few months ago I was in a terrible car accident. I feel a bit sorry leaving a negative feedback coz I really liked Dr. Manosov - she was always nice and careful, she knew that I feel extremely uncomfortable and even scared when a dentist does something with my teeth (no matter how gentle he/she is) and she would do everything to calm me down during my visits. The staff in her office was also friendly and nice. Never the less, I can't give this business more than 2 stars. The first thing that I didn't like was the filling that fell off in about 4 months after she filled my tooth. I never had a filling lasting such a short time before. That was a big deal for me considering how uncomfortable I feel at a dentist's office but I didn't want to leave this dentistry yet. Then Dr. Manosov suggested to put a crown on one of my teeth and I remember that before she put on a permanent crown, she had to put on a temporary crown that fell of in a day or two. But the worst thing was that even that permanent crown didn't last long - it fell of today, in about 3,5 years after it was put on by Dr. Manosov. I payed a lot out of pocket for that crown and now I need to do this again. Considering all my experience with this dentistry, I feel that I could have received much better care some place else where they wouldn't need to redo my fillings and crowns so often. BTW, my new dentist noticed that something was wrong with that crown and she said that I might need to replace it soon (that was said about a year ago, which means that the crown didn't look good in 2,5 years after it was put on, and I didn't believe my new dentist coz I knew that crowns usually last much much longer, now I know that she was right). read more

She does an incredible job of being simultaneously gentle and very attentive to the patients needs. She explains exactly what she is going to do and answers any questions you might have. I could just leave 1 star feedback without any explanations but I decided to put whole story behind it to stop you and wish you find a better service than this practice. Everything began with one tooth which had root canal done long time ago but didn't had a crown so it's almost disrupted over the time. I've got a recommendation from colleague to visit office of Dr. Marina Manosov. I've decided to do routine check/cleanup and figure out price of crown, etc. So after cleanup I've got a recommendation beside fix a tooth/setup a crown do the 3 fillings and advanced cleaning. So, from here I've decided to do all recommended routine and that was a BIGGEST mistake I ever done. After advanced cleaning (which was poorly done) I've got three fillings, tooth prepared for crown and temporary crown. And pain. Terrible pain in Upper Left 5 tooth. Doctor said that it will go away, and it's just because if fillings. Temporary crown fell off on next day and I had to just almost stop eating otherwise it always get off the "prepared tooth". Pain didn't went away. I waited one week for crown to be prepared and went to different doctor just to consult about advanced cleaning. They've said that I was fooled and it wasn't even close to advanced cleaning. So, after one week I come to the Dr. Manosov for crown set up. That was done without any issues and I mentioned about advanced/deep cleaning. Dr. Manosov said that tooth became yellow because of me (in one week, heh) and did it again. Because I've already had this procedure done in different place and know how it's done I knew that it was done badly again. I decided to let it go. Pain in tooth still didn't disappeared. I finished second pack of ibuprofen and went to the Dr's office again. She done something and imaginated another ephemeral reason why it is in pain. One month gone and I'm still on ibuprofen. I went to doctors office again and asked for a solution. She said that I should extract one wisdom tooth because it is a reason for pain. At that moment my insurance account ($3000) was completely depleted by her. I went to the dentistry which extracted my tooth for out of pocket and know what ? Pain wasn't changed. Dr. Manosov said that it's very complicated case and asked to go to the another doctor for "advanced diagnostic" ( of course ^&%*$, because there is no money of my account anymore). So... I decided to wait. Almost half a year I was perfect painkillers consumer and felt much stronger because of TEETH PAIN EVERY F*CKING DAY of my life and since then I wait when my dental account will be refreshed. Finally in January I went to the different doctor who found that one of the fillings which Dr. Manosov did wasn't necessary. Filling depressing root canal/tooth nerve and root canal+crown should be done to stop that. Day X had come and after root canal pain is disappeared. THANK GOD. read more

Doctor Marina has been our family dentist for almost 3 years. She and her team are high level professionals ready to solve any dental problem. Dr. Marina does an excellent job on treating all our dental needs. She always takes the time to explain every procedure she is planning on doing to make sure we understand what is best for us. We discuss all the possible options before making a final decision. She has done many treatments for my family and I including fillings, crowns and bridges.We have never had any issues with her work. Fantastic family dentist! Our entire family (2 adults, 2 kids) have been the clients of Dr. Manosov for about a year now and we are very satisfied with our experience - highly trained and experienced dentist, friendly staff, clean office, excellent location. We've been especially impressed with Dr. Manosov's approach to kids. Our elder son (who's 5) needed a tooth extraction. Prior to coming to Dr. Manosov we tried several other dentists in the area and all of them said that they would only do it under general anesthesia / IV-sedation (I couldn't believe it - general anesthesia for a routine tooth extraction! That's completely unnecessary and imposes certain health risks, and I'm not even talking about the cost of it which can easily be $1000 for the anesthesia alone). Dr. Manosov was able to find an approach to our son and performed the extraction under local anesthesia - no issues at all. Overall, I'd highly recommend Dr. Manosov for all of your family dentistry needs. read more

I don't like to leave bad reviews unless I feel I can prevent others from unnecessary pain. Dr. Manosov is a really nice person, she is very friendly and she seemed to know what she was doing. We started visiting her office over 3 years ago. We took our kids for cleaning and couple of times for couple for fillings. I started feeling very uncomfortable after Dr. Manosov and her team started pushing me every time I would visit (even when I was not the patient) invisalign for me. If doctors start acting like sales people, can you really trust them? I decided to give her a chance and ignore her selling pitch. I took my 2 kids to her office for cleaning about 5 months ago, then we had summer and then I notice one of my kids had a big cavity between 2 molars, I thought too much sweets during our holidays.... (but yes, I was a bit skeptical because it was not long that they had their cleaning!). She did fillings to my child and that was it, I was moderately content. Then, couple of days ago, I while my husband was helping brush my other child's teeth, he noticed she had a big black spot between 2 of her upper molars (just like my other child). At this point I decided to change our family dentist. At the new dental office, they took x-ray and found that the damage of my child's cavity is greater than I imagined, there's nerve damage and they'll have to make a 'baby root canal'. After these experiences, we are not going back to her office ever again. Cavities don't develop over night, it takes long time to develop a big cavity. I can't understand why Dr. Manosov didn't see anything (same for both of my kids!). It's sad to see so many dental/health offices just caring about profits and not people's health, specially our little one's health. read more

Office is clean, location is excellent, we've never had a problem finding parking, scheduling appointments is a breeze (Dr. Marina even came to the office on Dec.31st in the morning, although it was day off for her, as I had an emergency and she was super accommodating replying on my late facebook message and offering me next day morning appointment!). When you make an appointment at a certain time and decided to get there 5-10 min. early she is able to take you in before the appointment time. Those who rated this dentist with 5 stars either never been in her office or just storing up trouble for the future by dealing with this dentist. Dr. Manosov is the worst dentist I ever met. I never had problems with my prior dentist, but I lived in Los Altos while she was in San Jose and at some point I decided to go to a local dentist. It was not the right choice. Literally almost all given at this place treatment is complete failure. Now I have urgently to find another dentist in order to fix problems created by Dr. Manosov and pay for all repeated treatments few thousand out of pocket because insurance doesn't cover duplicate procedures. The worst is Dr. Manosov doesn't feel herself responsible, she didn't apologize, she was not even embarrassed - obvious sign she had been in similar situations already. Run away from this dentist before her misconducts hurt you. read more
