I also bought an Aveda shampoo (which I love for $50) I chose a 20% tip and did not realize that the tip I chose also included the amount of the product. Therefore I tipped more than $20 on a $50 haircut. I will return as the service and hair cut was outstanding, and the people were wonderful, but next time I will pay the tip separately. That's called class. However, recently I booked an appointment with them and went in for said appointment; which is 40 minutes away from my home only to be publicly humiliated. I was seated in the consultation chair in the middle of the salon thinking she was going to start but instead I was told very loudly in front of staff and clients that their products don't mesh well with my type of hair and that no one wants to touch my hair. It was very embarrassing, it was cruel, I felt so discriminated. Needless to say I will not be going back to that salon but it goes to show you that regardless of how loyal and kind you are to people, sometimes people are just not the same. The korean lady is very skillful and recommend me really good products, her haircut is very neat and stays nice for a very long time. She might not be a talkative person or smiles too much, but I think it's just her personality. On the other hand, the chinese lady is very friendly, talks and smiles a lot. Her haircut is good although I think it can be more even (there are some uneven hair) but the final hair cut also looks nice. If you need a quick nice haircut, I recommend the place :)
