They are the worst place, I go to get a trim, well the first girl mess it up, so I go back to her to fix it, she didn't have a clue what she was doing, so another girl try to fix my hair well by the time I got up and walk out because that girl couldn't fix it my hair it was so short, I cry for days, I had to wait for my hair to grow in before I could go somewhere else to have them fix it. First Choice hair cutters is the only place I go to get my hair done. I am fussy about my cut as I wear my hair short. Doreen always gives me a terrific cut and I always leave feeling pretty. My gray was coming in very qiuck so I tried a new product color. It was silver and WOW... I love it... As a regular customer I and my family always feel like family. I always go here for service from Brent! He is super amazing and knows exactly how you want your hair done. I stupidly went to a salon my friend has suggested and they ended up taking huge chunks out of my hair and hid it so I never saw how bad it was until I went to see Brent for a haircut a couple months later. Brent was so amazing and did an amazing correction cut and the 'holes' were so blended in you would never have even been able to tell my hair was uneven!!! Brent is also so friendly and a pleasure to deal with. He also recommends amazing products (the Designline Silk Drops are amazing!). I Never go anywhere but to Brent for my hair cuts how. I have had two great experiences at this location, and will continue to go back! The place is always busy but the waits are not long and you can easily book an appointment over the phone. The stylists are nice, talkative, and very friendly. The last time I went for a cut the stylist recommended a deep conditioning treatment that I really enjoyed and saw immediate results from. The prices are very reasonable, I only wish they had a student discount. A great place for an easy hair cut! read more

Absolutely ridiculous customer service and horrible attitude from staff. I went to this location on Hespeler Rd this weekend to get my kid a haircut. The attendant asked me for my contact number at which I explained that I dont want to give my contact number due to privacy reasons. The attendant was adamant and pulled up completely wrong claim that it is a federal law to give contact number! I told her there is no such law to give a "Barber" contact number to get a haircut; obviously the location has no idea about data privacy laws. Upon this, the attendant stubbornly refused to provide me service stating that I will not be served at this location as I am refusing to give contact number. I am in process of filing legal complaint against this location with Ministry of Government and Consumer Services. read more

Lorraine is what keeps me coming back to First Choice. She is the first hair stylist in a very long time that actually listens to what I want. She is friendly, courteous and doesn't make you feel like she's rushing to get you out the door. I have recently moved and it's a little further for me to travel now for a hair cut but I do just so I can have Lorraine as my hair stylist. If Lorraine ever leaves I will be following her and I don't think I will be the only one. So treat her good and if she hasn't had a pay raise in a while then give her one because she deserves it. read more

I went to Brent after having my hair cut elsewhere earlier that same day. The reason being was the first haircut was not at all what I had wanted. I got a blunt straight across cut which I clearly said I didn't want and even showed her the picture of what I liked. After explaining to Brent and showing him the picture he went to work and did an awesome job fixing my hair!. Couldn't of asked for better and can't wait to go back for highlights! :) read more
