I am extremely disappointed with my experience at Element Hair, including the owner, Kim. I had my…read moreinitial consultation, booked an appointment, and paid a $200 deposit. However, on the day of my service, I became very sick due to side effects from a TB vaccine that I had to take for work. Despite informing them early in the morning and ensuring the team was aware of my condition, they refused to refund my $200 deposit, citing their 72-hour notice policy and remaining adamant about their decision. I requested for a little support as it is not possible to predict my health issues. I was even willing to provide proof of my vaccine, but they still refused. I reassured them that I would continue using their services as I really liked my stylist. I have never been a "no-show" for any appointment, yet they offered no support apart from just $50 which they can put towards my service. I can even over heard from the background where Kim was saying to my stylist "I dont care if she was sick" then when she finished talking to me impolitely I can hear her saying to her team "Look how simple it was to deal" then cut the call. I'm truly sorry that the owner showed no empathy, compassion or trust in their clients, and no effort was made to build a positive customer relationship. They didn't even offer me a chance to reschedule and rudely cut the call. Also feel sorry for the people who work their and the clients who still support this salon. I will not be returning to deal with such impolite people who give off such negative vibes.

She did a phenomenal job fixing the horrible blending the job that was done at the other location. She lightened my hair so that the blond came out beautifully. That's called class. However, recently I booked an appointment with them and went in for said appointment; which is 40 minutes away from my home only to be publicly humiliated. I was seated in the consultation chair in the middle of the salon thinking she was going to start but instead I was told very loudly in front of staff and clients that their products don't mesh well with my type of hair and that no one wants to touch my hair. It was very embarrassing, it was cruel, I felt so discriminated. Needless to say I will not be going back to that salon but it goes to show you that regardless of how loyal and kind you are to people, sometimes people are just not the same. I was a little nervous given all the negative reviews but I was just getting my hair filled and coloured so wasn't too worried. My stylist was Jeff and I had a really good experience with him! He seemed very knowledgeable and made the experience comfortable! I'd recommend asking for him if you ever do decide to come. I'm satisifed with the end results as the colour is nice and even over my previous bleached and mixed coloured hair.

Took a long time to log us in for some reason, then I got my haircut which was slow and of poor quality. Though the majority of haircuts are for men, this was far from the quality barbershop type experience. None of the shaving the back of the neck, offering to trim eyebrows, or ears, no offer of product in the hair, had to remind her a few times of the razor number for sides and back. But worse was my son's. So bad in fact that we will be going to get another cut tomorrow. He asked for a number 3 on the sides and back and got a number three just over the ears so effectively a mullet! Uneven haircut with one side longer than the other, and lots of uncut random hairs. Unbelievably bad. We'd had some bad cuts here before about 10 years ago and thought we would try it again since we were passing by. Big mistake.
