This playground features a huge, well-maintained play structure with tons of space for running and exploring. Compared to other playgrounds, it is also well-shaded. There is also a smaller toddler play structure, although that one does get a lot more sun exposure. Beautiful grassy areas and tons of trees surround the playground. It is also next to a covered picnic table area. There is also a splash pad that we didn't get to see this time, but hopefully next time we will! I wish we could have come to this park more than once. But it was a little bit out of the way compared to the other places we visited. But it is definitely worth including on your list of St. George playgrounds!

There is a walking path, picnic area, playground, splash pad for the kids, basketball court, and tennis courts. You get a nice view of the mountains as your backdrop from here. The water is BEAUTIFUL and it's only an hour and 40ish drive to here from vegas. I could stay in the little pool and watch the waterfall and river for days. This is also a really beautiful spot to take photos too. I'm so so so happy that I had the opportunity to see the beauty of this place. Fun fact, there's the cutest little air bnb on a farm for 2 that's only 5 minutes away from little Jamaica. It's called the purple house and it's great place to stay in if you want to hang out at the river for more than one day! This place honestly leaves me speechless. I luckily didn't experience any trash really. This really is my favorite hidden gem it's such a beautiful place to relax at. THE WAY THERE: It can get really confusing to get down to the water hole! There's a gate thing and once you go past that you turn right and eventually you should pass through a tall grass patch. The rocks near the water are very slippery, so make sure you're being careful or wearing water shoes with some traction. There's also a rope tied to the rock to help you get down!

It would appear the one size fits all is the newer part of the park because it actually has a very nice walking path that goes all the way around the outside. It is also about 50% bigger than the small and the big dog park combined. Plenty of water in all of the parks as well as poop bag dispensers and trash cans. Or metal trash poles depending on where you like to stick it? All the Parks have a nice shaded seating area as well as multiple benches spaced around the parks. There's a nice little parking lot right next to the big and small dog park as well as street parking. But it is by far the biggest and most enjoyable dog park in mesquite!

We went to the canyons course…read more The course was beautiful and well taken care of and the cost was like half the cost of many course in St. George, but I'd probably not recommend that first timers come here ha. It's apparently a little bit harder of a course, and a fair amount of holes are setup so that you basically have to know what you are doing in order not to lose a 1000 balls. Apparently though there were some amenities that were provided that aren't so common at other courses. They provided a few tees, wet towels to wipe off your clubs and coolers attached to the carts with water and ice already in them. The reason I give 3 stars instead of 4 or even five was the course marshall. At about hole 16 it was getting a bit darker but we could still see perfectly fine, the Marshall drove up to us and said "this is your last hole". When we asked why, he said "don't you know it's 6 o'clock?" He acted as if there was some sort of rule that everyone has to stop at 6. However when questioning him if this was actually the case all he would say is " what are you gonna do, play in the dark?" We paid for 18 holes and were only slightly behind pace to do it in our 4.5 hour time slot. Thing is, he was not friendly about it at all, he was a jerk about it the whole time. If there really is some sort of curfew, there should be a disclaimer when we book the tee time, or it should be mentioned when we came in to pay.

I went to this festival on a Sunday morning for the 7:30am liftoff. I saw this event on the news…read moreand told myself, I absolutely had to come because I've always wanted to see hot air balloons! I drove all the way from Las Vegas and was excited to watch these balloons fly out! There is ample parking at Casablanca Resort and you can just walk across the street where the balloons are set up at. It was a little chilly so definitely bring a coat and sunglasses since it will be super bright too. BUT... the balloons didn't get to fly up! Unfortunately, weather also plays a big part too in how the balloons go up and sadly, weather did not permit for the hot air balloons to go up. But it was nice because the guy leading the announcement was very professional and allowed the hot air ballon to static or go up for a little bit to show the height and volume of these balloons which was really cool! I loved how educational everything was and how the pilots were showing how things worked and what the actual basket looked like (it's literally like how I saw it in the movies - an ACTUAL basket)! They also have a show at night as well. It was nice to see an event like this and seeing the display of colorful balloons being blown up. If you haven't ever experienced a hot air balloon festival, you definitely have to come! I will be back especially since I didn't get to see the balloons go up this time around. I don't remember seeing food or drinks at this venue so it's good to get something to eat or drink beforehand. There's a gas station nearby though for you to get things.
