Food was pretty good it was better this time around. I do wish they had turkey necks available.

    Meal #2

My sister recommended this spot so I ordered our food and headed out. Atlanta traffic wasn't too bad when I left so I wasn't expecting the food to be ready when I arrived, but it was. I ordered Meal #2 (10 shrimp, potatoes and fried okra) for myself and some spicy potatoes, jalapeño bombers and a Turkey neck. I was seriously disappointed in the food. The bombers were not spicy and the potatoes could have been eaten by a newborn they lacked real spice. The fried shrimp were tiny and over cooked to the point of being rubbery. The fried okra was the best thing about the meal. My sister said the Turkey neck was just ok.

Couldn't do it. The fishy smell was too much for me to eat here but I'll come back to buy fresh seafood to cook at home.

This place is a hidden gem. It's not only a seafood market- it's Cajun grocery store and seafood restaurant! Prices are extremely fair, and the service I got from Allan was awesome. I'm throwing a crawfish boil and he answered all of my questions. Pictured is 2lbs crawfish, 10 shrimp, and sides that came to less than $30... the crawfish was perfectly spiced, flavorful, and juicy. I could tell they were live when boiled! Can't wait to come back and am looking forward to my live crawfish pickup in a few weeks.

    3lb Crawfish

After driving 30 min I got some super small crawfish! On top of that 13.99lb was entirely too high. The ambiance was like a basic fresh seafood spot. I wouldn't stay to eat inside. I didn't see the score but I could imagine. The freezer looked very old and like they needed to be replaced. $45 and the crawfish was so under seasonsed, small and mushy! VIP New Orleans Seafood is the best spot. I should've drove the extra 25 minutes. The guy also said it would be 8 or 9 minutes. He came back in about 5 min or less.

    Crawfish and sides.

We planned a huge crawfish boil with chargrilled oysters for a lovely Saturday on the deck. So, we headed North to Marietta and arrived at spot because we wanted already boiled and spicy. So they were offering buy 5 lbs and get 1 lb free. Well we ordered 10 lbs spicy and mild. They were prompt with order and before leaving we grabbed some dungress crab too. They crawfish was descent size and came in a silver pan wrapped up however we unwrapped to grab a couple before making it home. The cashier didn't have much personality but delivered with order. The mudbugs were a hit and we even had leftovers for our crawfish and spinach omelet the next day.

Love this spot and everything about it. They have a wide selection of seafood options from cooked to raw seafood you can take home and cook it yourself. We visit here frequently so we have a routine whenever we go here. When you walk in there are seating tables and I heap of seasons on shelving and they have more in the back wall if you feeling groovy. The menu is similar to any other seafood spot ( po Boys , crawfish , blue crab , snow crab, grouper , whiting, shrimp, oysters etc) with tons off cooking options. The owners here are very fun and are great with call in orders as well as walk in orders. One of the main things we enjoy about this location is the fact the seafood come fresh, and the crawfish is from N.O! You can buy live sacks here and Maryland flown in blue crab from here which is a plus! They also sell chips and goodies they sell in Nee Orleans ( chee-wees , Voodoo chips, and them peanut butter cookies at the front counter. They sell seasons from slap ya mama to zatarans all the way to the classic Louisiana brand. If your new to boiling or want to get into it they also sell boiling pots on multiple sizes. They also fry and boil good with awesome prices and never busy! Go here and you won't be disappointed.

Marietta Crawfish is okay. I was looking for a new lunch spot to eat at with my coworkers that is close to the office and this place popped up on Yelp with a decent rating and number of reviews. For Cajun-style seafood nearby, I prefer AJ's on Roswell Rd (https://bit.ly/2SugYe3), but this place isn't bad. It's an acceptable alternative if you don't want to deal with the crowd/wait at AJ's. This business has been around since at least 2014 and replaced (I believe) a Latin American restaurant (Las 3 Americas Restaurant). It's located in an old and somewhat sketchy strip with a TitleMax and Elations, an adult movie/novelty shop. Marietta Crawfish is more than just a restaurant. It's a small grocery store and seafood market too. They have live, fresh, refrigerated, and frozen seafood for sale. Live seafood includes lobster ($13.99 or $15.99/lb), Dungeness crab ($14.99/lb), red crab ($10.99/lb), stone crab ($8.99/lb), blue crab, and crawfish (I think this was $5.99/lb). The latter two are available self-serve while the former are inside a tiny aquarium. Frozen shellfish includes snow crab clusters ($12.99/lb), king crab ($23.99/lb), spiny lobster tail ($10.99 each), cold water lobster tail ($9.99 each), and Dungeness crab clusters ($14.99/lb). Other frozen, refrigerated, and raw/fresh seafood include different kinds of shrimp (previously frozen, royal red shrimp, Gulf shrimp; some wild-caught), whole fish, conch meat, live oysters, grouper fillets, sea scallops, yellow fin tuna steaks, and various fish fillets like cod, catfish, salmon, rainbow trout, flounder, ocean perch, tilapia, and whiting. Along with seafood, they also sell kitchen equipment and other related products so you can have your own fish fry or Cajun seafood boil at home. These items include large pots, deep fryers, and assorted seasonings, sauces, and seafood breading mixes. They also stock Cafe Du Monde coffee and some Asian groceries (I believe this business is Vietnamese owned and operated) such as bottles of Sriracha, Huy Fong Chili Garlic Sauce, Mama instant noodles, and Nongshim instant ramen. As for the restaurant portion of the restaurant, it's like a poor man's version of one of those Cajun seafood restaurants on the east/northeast side of metro Atlanta (e.g. Shaking Crawfish on Buford Highway, Blazin Cajun and Fat Crab in Duluth). They offer the same sort of Cajun seafood boils here too; the environment and plating just aren't as nice. This place is really just a hole-in-the-wall with no real ambiance to speak of. The dining area has seating for only about 20 people. They've got a TV on the wall. When we visited, it was tuned to ESPN. The seafood boils cost anywhere from about $11-40 per meal and include the typical red potato, sausage, and corn on the cob. They sell fried and grilled seafood meals that come with 2 sides for about $9-16 per meal. Fried and grilled po' boys run anywhere from $6-10 for half a po'boy to about $9-14 for a whole po' boy (po' boys include fries). They also have platters that come with an assortment of seafood and sides ($24-90), seafood baskets ($28-38), Cajun boudin balls (5 for $6); wings, chicken tenders, and chicken nuggets (about $5-30 per order); salads (about $9-13 each), lump crab cake (4 oz for $5.99), calamari ($5.99), spicy boiled turkey neck ($1.99 each), and more. They even have bubble tea, real fruit smoothies, and slushies (20 oz for $3.99). I don't think I would order bubble tea here. There are also specials. For example, if you buy 5 pounds of boiled crawfish, you get 1 pound free. We ordered a variety of stuff. A couple of my coworkers got meal #8 which is fried crawfish tail meat ($9.99 with 2 sides). They both enjoyed it. For what it's worth, one of them grew up eating crawfish in Florida. Others got shrimp po' boys, both fried ($6 half) and grilled ($10.99 whole), and I heard no complaints. I got a fried red snapper po' boy ($11.99 whole) and it was okay. The portion size was quite good, not only in terms of the overall size of the sandwich, but also in terms of how much snapper meat there was. The fried snapper fillets were generously thick and meaty. However, the fillet did have a bit of that fishy taste/smell and it could have been crispier and seasoned better. Also, the sandwich could have been dressed a bit more (the po' boys come on French bread with housemade remoulade, lettuce, tomato, and pickle). Generally though, the sandwich was fine and satisfying enough. The fries were par for the course. They were crinkle-cut and minimally seasoned. Whether you dine in or order take out, meals are served in foam containers in plastic bags. Our sandwiches were wrapped in paper and our fries came in pouches. Condiments, eating utensils, napkins, etc. are self-serve from a bar next to the register. There was one cashier and we didn't see signs of any other staff. Given the small lunch rush, I was surprised how fast the orders came out, so kudos to them on reasonably fast service.

I've ordered here too many times to count lol! I always get their King Crab Best part is being able to get all your New Orleans/ Cajun supplies here! Including seafood boil pots & etc. Highly recommended!

I made grouper tacos with the fish, corn and broccoli

This place is nearby Studio Movie Grill and so I wanted to try them out to taste their fish and shrimp. They serve grouper fish and catfish but I chose the grouper and shrimp plate with corn and started broccoli. They were really tasty. My daughter enjoyed it a lot. I will suggest calling your order in if you're somewhat impatient like I am. That is if you can get through on the line. I went in because no one answered when I called the first time. Once I walked into the place and saw 3 people waiting in line I decided to check and call again and orders as I was leaving. Lol. Good food. I'd try it again.

Can someone post new prices? I haven't been in 2 years since the pandemic.

    Is this place good seafood?

Heck yeah! Great fresh fish and frozen crab legs. Also fresh live lobsters and crabs and of course crawfish. Scallops, shrimp, you name it. My go-to place for seafood.

The seafood was super fresh and flavorful, and the vegetables were crisp. Our favorite Seacuterie items were the smoked trout spread, mussels, and smoked salmon. I was pleasantly surprised by the pickled figs. I'd never had them before, but they're now one of my favorites. They add the perfect balance of texture and saltiness to each bite. The tuna was our least favorite. It was pretty much flavorless compared to everything else. Overall, it was a good experience, aside from the awkward start.

We had to make a fast decision if we would leave or stay, but since it was Friday We honestly considered leaving, but we were starving and didn't feel like going somewhere else, so we stayed. However, after that, we were really surprised that there was very little follow-up from the manager, no effort from management the attempt to recover the experience. Our server, Skye, was very apologetic and did what she could, but overall the customer service from management was extremely disappointing. At Pappadeaux's price point, finding a bug in your food is already unacceptable, but the lack of proper service recovery made it worse. This should have been handled very differently, and quite frankly, the entire meal should have been compensated. What happened to making sure guests actually have a good dining experience? We chose not to escalate things in the moment, but I can say confidently that I will not be returning to this location. I would strongly encourage others to double-check their food.

The grilling was immaculate- the meat held together but was perfectly tender to be separated with chopsticks. a slightly spicy, vinegary green onion salad was the perfect compliment to the rich, fatty mackerel. i will be getting this next time we come in. finally, we ordered the bingsu, a airy, fluffy pile of melt-in-your-mouth sesame snow covering a slightly deeper flavored sesame ice cream, covered with a milky sesame cream. that may all sound like a lot, but it was well balanced with sweetness, savoriness, nuttiness, and a bit of bitterness. everything came out at the perfect timing, and service was excellent. in all of our interactions with staff, service was at the level of a place with a much higher price tag. from the menu explanations to the presentation of dishes, the bar is evidently high for training. For all our food, the price was a little more than $100 , which feels like a bargain for a 3 course meal + alcohol.

For a restaurant calling itself a "chophouse" and supposedly upscale, you would think they would know how to cook a steak or use a better quality steak. Our filets were cooked to proper temperature but lacked any taste of salt or seasoning and lacked any searing on the outside. The meat was chewy rather than tender and made us wonder "what's so special about this place" where parking availability is also a challenge!? Hero flavors in every dish on my visit on a cold, but sunny, Tuesday in mid-March just after 5PM…read more The covered patio area was empty but staged for the impending nice weather while inside there were about 20 two-seater tables (some pushed together and in use by larger parties) as well as a bar. Over the bar was a large screen TV showing beautiful scenes of Italy, with contemporary Italian pop playing in the background. I started with the soup of the day, which was lobster bisque that was so full of lobster that I would call it a stew versus a soup. The complimentary bread was slightly toasted and topped with aromatic herbs that paired perfectly with the olive oil with which it was served. My entree was a special, and was the short rib. There was nothing "short" about it as the huge beef rib had a bone that overhung the plate that a caveman would be proud to own. The beef was fork tender and the steak knife provided with it wasn't necessary. It was paired with a delicious and sweet wine sauce. And the side was tender gnocchi (al tartufo) in a rich and creamy sauce flavored with truffle. Since they also have Risotto al Tartufo on the menu, that will definitely be on my list for my next visit. And I definitely want to bring my wife to that next visit because the flavor and food were so wonderful, it's a great place for a date night.

We had a spontaneous night out and I was in the mood for Italian. Mezza Luna has really great…read morereviews and I was excited to try something new. The restaurant is small but quaint. It was chilly went we visited, but on a nice day, the patio would be nice too. We ordered and were not in any kind of hurry. Probably a good thing, since the kitchen seemed to be very backed up and the food came out very slowly. The servers also seemed to be a little overwhelmed, so I'm wondering if the crowd was heavier than expected. Please don't take this as complaint - the service staff were very friendly and did their best to keep diners smiling. Unfortunately - the food was a little underwhelming. We ordered calamari - it was slightly over cooked and chewy. For dinner, we had the gnocchi and chicken saltimbocca. The safe in the chicken dish was overpowering (I ended up having to scrape it off) and the chicken was overcooked. It says a lot that my favorite thing on the plate was the sautéed spinach (which was delicious!). I really, really wanted to love this place, but I'm not sure I would visit again. There are too many places in this area that have much better food for the same price point.
