Let me start with what could be better because it is only one thing- customer service is horrible. The kiosk is convenient, but you all need to find the balance between watching customers struggle with the iPad, not having food descriptions for items and no human interaction. That said the food was great! I like the food mall and although your location is tucked a bit in the corner it was easy to spot with great signs. My sister and I decided to check out this new place called Cafe Bourbon that we saw on TikTok. It's in the Marietta food hall and seems to have taken over from the old Loaf'n restaurant, which was also New Orleans-style. When we got there, no one was at the counter to take our orders. Instead, they had an iPad for us to place our orders. The only hiccup was that the iPad froze halfway through our orders. We had to kind of shout to get the attention of the folks in the back (they had some music playing, so it was a bit hard). It took about 5-7 minutes to sort that out, and by then, a line had formed. The food is made fresh when you order it, so be prepared to wait a bit. We waited around 15 minutes. I went for the Bourbon St Shrimp Basket, and my sister got the gumbo, beignets, and jambalaya egg rolls. The food was cool, and if you're up for trying it out, I'd say go for it. read more

(Marietta location) I ordered the Bourbon street shrimp basket, jambalaya, gumbo, regular beignet & strawberry beignet. (Total of $72.00) I ordered through the iPad & waited over an hour for the food... as well as others.. The cooks just left the food out waiting (getting cold)... people had to come ask for their food. Why didn't they just call the orders out instead of having folks wait?? I don't know, but hopefully this place hires more employees that want to work diligently. This place could easily be 5 stars, but boy that customer service and wait is not it. Our experience with this place began when the woman in front of us in line to order was having trouble with the iPad ordering system. We watched her struggle while the man and woman behind the counter just stared at her without offering to assist. This should have been our sign to leave, but we were excited for the po boys and we wanted to give this place a chance. After my friends and I ordered, we waited around for 15 minutes watching as the man and woman in the kitchen were chatting and seemingly uninterested in preparing our orders. They actually looked like they were upset people were placing orders and were dragging their feet to start cooking. Eventually the woman in the kitchen acknowledged us and told us to give her 20 minutes. From the time we ordered, to the time our food was ready, 52 minutes had passed. In a food hall where other vendors are quick and friendly, it's outrageous to take nearly an hour for fries and a mediocre sandwich. I ordered the shrimp po boy and was disappointed that the fried shrimp was soggy. My friends and I were really excited about this place and we were patient and kind to the employees. I'd love to see a place like this succeed, however, due to the bad attitudes of the employees, lack of customer service or willingness to work, I don't see this place staying for long. Our experience was bad enough that I don't think we'd be willing to give them another shot. We tried this place out as it was new in the marketplace. We got the Jambalaya Eggrolls and an order of Cajun fries. The fries were just ok, nothing to write home about, but no complaints. The eggrolls were super good! A lot of rice, but the sauce was had a nice kick and they were as good as we thought they would be. However, for those 2 items it took about 25 minutes for it to be done. We actually got food from 2 other places while we were still waiting on this. And it seems like no one was really moving to get anything done quickly. With this being food quart style ordering, there's just higher expectations for quick service. read more

All my friends finished their meals by the time I got my food. They actually thought I died in Marietta Square Market. Did the food make up for it? No. The fries weren't bad, except only two thirds of them were coated in bourbon bbq and ranch. The ones not coated in ranch were pretty bland and in dire need of salt. And I've definitely gotten the wrong food before but due to the long wait, I didn't care to get it fixed. It's not uncommon to wait 20 minutes for your food. However--these wings are incredible. Meh. Not my cup of tea. First they don't take cash. Second saw one of the works sneeze and not change her gloves; thankfully she didn't make my food. Third the food was bland. Would not recommend this place. Ordered 2 orders of original beignets. After about 12 minutes I asked if they were almost done, to which I was told there were rolling some out right now. Which didn't make sense cause I had ordered over 10 minutes ago. Over 5-7 minutes go by and the lady who ordered after me got her order which included beignets. I once again asked if my order was done and I was told almost. Another 10 minutes goes by and yet another person who ordered after me, got their order. Which included 2 orders of original beignets and 1 order of one of the specialty beignets. I asked the worker why 2 separate people got their orders of beignets before me and he said mine we being packed right now, but once again who were other people getting theirs before I got mine.
