This is the worst place that I've ever eaten at in all of the greater Marietta area. Where do I even start? The kitchen itself looked unclean but I don't care, maybe the food would ve good. The wait time was 37 minutes for a poboy on a Tuesday night. There was barely any line, the worker was going at .01 miles an hour. Ridiculous. When the poboy finally came out, it was the saddest piece of dollar store toast and fish i have ever seen, i nearly started crying. There was barely a bit of lettuce abd two miserable half slices of tomato. I had asked what would be in the Poboy and the person failed to mention that they would include pickles. The sauce was the cheapest nastiest piece of oily goop. Catfish was bad quality as well. Only on SUNDAY are beignets served with praline sauce or pecans, each extra. Very misleading. The jambalaya egg rolls have a delicious filling but the outer shell is doughy and tough. Not the real deal. Ambiance is fake due to the empty coffee cans. Added later: Regardless of the flippant reply from management, the 1 star reviews are about equal to the 3 or 4 star reviews. I chose Café Bourbon in Marietta for a Mother's Day weekend meal after seeing it on TikTok and having a good impression from trying to recreate their gumbo at home. Unfortunately, the visit was a letdown. The staff didn't greet us, and I watched other customers walk out without ordering for the same reason. As a Black woman who wants to see Black businesses succeed, I gave respectful feedback--only to be served burnt catfish afterward. It felt personal and petty. The kiosk is convenient, but you all need to find the balance between watching customers struggle with the iPad, not having food descriptions for items and no human interaction. That said the food was great! I like the food mall and although your location is tucked a bit in the corner it was easy to spot with great signs. My sister and I decided to check out this new place called Cafe Bourbon that we saw on TikTok. It's in the Marietta food hall and seems to have taken over from the old Loaf'n restaurant, which was also New Orleans-style. When we got there, no one was at the counter to take our orders. Instead, they had an iPad for us to place our orders. The only hiccup was that the iPad froze halfway through our orders. We had to kind of shout to get the attention of the folks in the back (they had some music playing, so it was a bit hard). It took about 5-7 minutes to sort that out, and by then, a line had formed. The food is made fresh when you order it, so be prepared to wait a bit. We waited around 15 minutes. I went for the Bourbon St Shrimp Basket, and my sister got the gumbo, beignets, and jambalaya egg rolls. The food was cool, and if you're up for trying it out, I'd say go for it. read more

I didn't try any of their meals this time but the beignets caught my eye and I've been meaning to try them. WOW! So good! One order comes with 3 beignets for $6.25. They were made fresh and I waited around 10 minutes. Easy peezy check out system and you can enter your phone number to receive a text once your order is ready. The beignets were fluffy and sweet, generously covered in powdered sugar. Delicious! I can't wait to go back and try their other meals and of course moreeeee beignets! It's a Sunday afternoon & I decided to try Cafe Bourbon street food for the first time. (Marietta location) I ordered the Bourbon street shrimp basket, jambalaya, gumbo, regular beignet & strawberry beignet. (Total of $72.00) I ordered through the iPad & waited over an hour for the food... as well as others.. The cooks just left the food out waiting (getting cold)... people had to come ask for their food. Why didn't they just call the orders out instead of having folks wait?? I don't know, but hopefully this place hires more employees that want to work diligently. This place could easily be 5 stars, but boy that customer service and wait is not it. Our experience with this place began when the woman in front of us in line to order was having trouble with the iPad ordering system. We watched her struggle while the man and woman behind the counter just stared at her without offering to assist. This should have been our sign to leave, but we were excited for the po boys and we wanted to give this place a chance. After my friends and I ordered, we waited around for 15 minutes watching as the man and woman in the kitchen were chatting and seemingly uninterested in preparing our orders. They actually looked like they were upset people were placing orders and were dragging their feet to start cooking. Eventually the woman in the kitchen acknowledged us and told us to give her 20 minutes. From the time we ordered, to the time our food was ready, 52 minutes had passed. In a food hall where other vendors are quick and friendly, it's outrageous to take nearly an hour for fries and a mediocre sandwich. I ordered the shrimp po boy and was disappointed that the fried shrimp was soggy. My friends and I were really excited about this place and we were patient and kind to the employees. I'd love to see a place like this succeed, however, due to the bad attitudes of the employees, lack of customer service or willingness to work, I don't see this place staying for long. Our experience was bad enough that I don't think we'd be willing to give them another shot. The beginets were good. The food took 20 minutes to get to me. They maybe can do 1 order every 4 minutes. Most of this stuff should be premade and easy to do. All my friends finished their meals by the time I got my food. They actually thought I died in Marietta Square Market. I would have gotten my food faster except the cashier thought it would be more productive to doodle on the Styrofoam instead of hand me my food that was sitting in the window. Did the food make up for it? No. The fries weren't bad, except only two thirds of them were coated in bourbon bbq and ranch. The ones not coated in ranch were pretty bland and in dire need of salt. As a final insult, they didn't even devein the shrimp. So I got to enjoy eating shrimp feces as part of my meal. This was 30 dollars. I'd rather dine on my own foot next time. read more

We tried this place out as it was new in the marketplace. We got the Jambalaya Eggrolls and an order of Cajun fries. The fries were just ok, nothing to write home about, but no complaints. The eggrolls were super good! A lot of rice, but the sauce was had a nice kick and they were as good as we thought they would be. However, for those 2 items it took about 25 minutes for it to be done. We actually got food from 2 other places while we were still waiting on this. And it seems like no one was really moving to get anything done quickly. With this being food quart style ordering, there's just higher expectations for quick service. read more

Got the jambalaya egg rolls (hot which was good) but more rice then anything and the sausage wasn't spicy, and the bourbon ranch fries, (not hot) not crispy, and they just didn't have any flavor.
