Walked in hopeful and was ignored as I waited to give my order. Lady at the counter had us standing there and then reluctantly took our order. Two bean and cheese tacos a burrito and 30 mins later everyone else got served before us including individuals who had just sat down. We were told to stand outside because our food was coming and my mother walked back in and was given cold food. Never tf again. As far as a Mexican restaurant, this place is not! I would not recommend it. I've tried to eat here several times so it's not a one off type thing. I ordered cheese enchiladas and the cheese on the inside wasn't even melted, the enchilada sauce tasted weird also. It also has flies inside every time I go. read more

Set off to Houston at 3 am to pick up a trailer and on the way back looked up Maria's. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The food was good and we were the only people in there so that was nice. Not many choices between Houston and San Antonio but this place is worth the stop if you're headed down IH-10. read more

First time there. Tried the crispy taco plate and it was very good. Lots of flavor and tortillas stayed crispy and rice and beans were good as well. Chips and salsa were good as well and service was great. My boy tired the carne guisada taco and that was very good and very big. One taco was very fulfilling. Prices were fair too. Ambiance was nice and cozy too. Just wish they stayed open later. Would be a nice place to take the family for dinner in the evening but they close at 3:00pm. I highly recommend this small gem. Yea, I would skip this place. It took the food over an hour too get out to us. They had no problem cranking out the orders in the drive up line. The food was mediocre. My son got a gotta and was super disappointed with how much meat was in it. The meat for my wife's fajitas had a strange texture. My brisket was just ok. Then the forgot the quesadillas. People came inside, getting orders and leaving with their food. I ask and she would say soon. After 20-25 minutes I left without my 2 tacos. I left wondering if it was discrimination... This place isn't worth your money, trust me I paid for 4 breakfast tacos = 15$ made of brisket fat, potatoes, and old eggs.

Came here as we were passing through Columbus , there was only one other car outside but we decided to give it a try anyway . The front staff was horribly rude , we waited 15 mins for Quesadillas side of rice and a crunchy taco and queso and chips . Queso was sticky and unmelted , quesadillas were cold and had refried beans in them when I didn't request that and the taco meat tasted old , the rice was pale with no flavor and was absolutely disgusting. I love Mexican food but this was horrible , from bad customer service to even worse food we will never come back . read more

Great breakfast tacos. Nopal (marinated cactus), machacado, tocino, bean & egg, barbacoa, and on and on. No frills, just good quality Mexican. Definitely check out the green sauce. Sometimes more kick to it than others but always tasty. Service can be slow but you can order ahead and pick up through the drive-thru. read more

The fact that I have to wait for my food for an hour is bad. There was a lady sitting at a table behind us she got so tired of waiting for her service to pick up her family's dirty dishes that she picked up her own dishes and took them to the kitchen so the restaurant can wash them. This is probably one of the worst experiences at a restaurant I've ever had. I was passing through Columbus with my family and wanted to stop for lunch. Many of the other restaurants around were closed due to the holidays so we decided to give it a try. Worst mistake. Nobody greeted us when we came in. We were literally standing there lost until I, myself had to ask if we were supposed to seat ourselves. A useful tip - project a sign that says "please seat yourself". When we seated ourselves a girl came over and gave us menus. But wait, get this - she only gave the adults silverware. She didn't bother to give the kids any silverware (there were four of them). After that we got asked for our drinks and had to wait 5 minutes. They then came over with some chips - had to wait 15 minutes for salsa. Then we asked for more chips & they never came. The food then came out and to my surprise was actually not too bad. It was okay. But the service was HORRENDOUS! We had no napkins, no refills on drinks, and not to mention that the waitress never checked on us once after she came and gave us our food. To whoever reads this, please save your money and go elsewhere. The food isn't bad, but the service doesn't make up for it in any way. read more

Stumbled upon this place at random after I got tired of driving along Rt 10. Laid back place with the ambiance of a high school cafeteria. But my meal was great. I had a catfish dish recommended by the waitress. The fish was fresh and cooked to perfection. Smothered with all the tex-mex goodies that make my belt complain.
