There are articles online that say it doesn't make a difference. I had my solar installed and activated in 11/2011. Attached are yearly production totals for 2012-2014 to show you what the system makes optimally in 2012 and 2013, when they're new/clean, and the degradation when they're dirty in 2014. Also attached is the production totals for 2021-2023, which covers the year that Nathan cleaned my panels and the following year, and shows the dropoff a couple of years later in 2023. So it seems that for my location/roof, my panels stay clean enough for optimal production for 2 years before needing cleaning again, your mileage will vary. But you can also see the improvement made with the cleaning. I had my panels cleaned once before sometime between 2013-2021, I don't remember the year, but I didn't notice much of a difference. It was done by someone else, and they either scammed me or did a poor job. Based on this data, I'll be using this company to clean my panels every 2 years.

But I was blown away the first time Iris and Maria came -I had nothing to pick on whatsoever! Not only were they meticulously thorough with everything (even cleaning the vitamin bottles!), they were efficient and fast, hard at work every minute they were at my home. There are a thing or two at times that might need a little reminder, but they are very rare and I consider it only normal when any two parties are just getting to know each other's work style and preferences. I also appreciate the ease of accessibility -I can call them, e-mail, or even text to communicate and they are always dependable in getting back to me in a timely manner (try calling a few other places and you will see how valuable a trait this is!). They are always on time, always with a smile on their face, so polite and pleasant, and even my baby loves seeing them every other week! The price is also very reasonable, especially when they do such an exceptional job. I highly recommend them and I am so thankful that I found them! I always make it a point to give a little extra leeway for vendors sent by American Home Shield…read more(AHS). I know that AHS does not compensate them as well as they would like. Unfortunately some vendors don't even meet that low bar. This company sent a Mr. Sanchez to patch a hole in the wall made by the plumber. I've had similar holes patched in several homes so I am familiar with the process. The impression we were left with was that Mr. Sanchez was hoping we would pay $275 (apparently this was with a $100 discount) to him directly so he specifically told us that this is the quality work we will get because we are AHS customers. This looks like my 4 year old niece put masking tape on the wall then painted over it. The tape (Fire Tape) is peeling so I don't know how long that will hold. Mr. Sanchez specifically told us that this is the quality work we can expect since we are going through AHS but for an extra $275 we could get normal looking basic work. I am not sure how much AHS is paying but for less than $25 I could have purchased the materials and done it myself to get the same quality. When I spoke with Mr. Sanchez on the phone he was an absolute delight to speak with (please note sarcasm). He called me ignorant and told me to "Do Whatever the 'F*$%' [I] wanted." While I don't like poor workmanship I like profanity even less.

Often showed up late or didn't show. Destroyed the floor, which I'm finding will now cost about $1300 to replace. They "finished" on a Wednesday and said they'd come back to fix the floor. I told them I'd pay then, but he sadly asked if he could get paid then. Stupidly I paid them half and said they'd get the rest on Friday, and of course they called and said they couldn't come on Friday. At that point I realized they were so inept that I couldn't imagine them making anything better, so we cut our losses. So now we're out $1300 to replace the floor, another $200 to finish the sheet rock, plus the $600 we paid them. Never again. Avoid at all costs.

I called about a plastering job and asked when he could come by for an estimate. He told me to just text him some photos and the square feet and he would get me a quote right away. I did as he asked, but didn't hear back. After a couple of hours (and calling other companies) I eventually texted him again for an update. He texted me back a very attractive price, and we worked out his availability. I was super excited to go with him since the price was a bit lower than the competitors. But I wanted to speak to him on the phone to ask a couple of questions and work out a couple of details. It was getting late, so I told him I'd call the next day. The next day he did not answer the phone. I texted him to let him know I just needed a 5-minute phone call to confirm a couple details and we'd be good to go. He totally ghosted me, and didn't text or call back. When you're doing a renovation, price is of course important, but so is reliability. If you have to chase your contractors down and they are flaky with you, how can you trust that they will show up when scheduled? Or come back for the 2nd or 3rd day of work? I had too many other contractors lined up I wasn't willing to risk going with this guy. You know how sometimes it gets to the point where it's just SO bad that you don't even know where or how to start? Yeah, it was getting like that. However, the "mature" part of me wanted to start the new year fresh and clean, and that included my kitchen and bathroom. It was Wednesday, Dec 28 when I finally decided to look into a cleaning service. I took to Yelp and while a few had some questionable 5-star reviews, I trusted the reviews here and figured I'd give it a shot. At around 3PM, I filled out a form on the website. At around 3:30 I got a call from Patty to discuss what I needed and we set up a time for 10AMish for her to come by and give me an exact quote. She came by a little before 10:30AM, looked around and quoted me a reasonable amount. She had to check with her team to see what time they were available to come in a day's notice and I told her that I was fine with any time as long as they were out of the place by 4PM as I had a flight to Vegas and needed to leave by 4:30. They came in at 1PM and took less than 2 hours to do a deeeeeeeep clean of my kitchen and bathroom. There was about 4 ladies that came in that didn't speak any English but hell, they did the job! I was IN AWE of how nice and clean the kitchen and bathroom was. Plus they left with plenty of time for me to do all my last-minute errands. I recommend Patty and her team for a one-time deep cleaning FOR SURE. Quick, responsive, and to the point, just how I like it.

We were not even on the top 3 highest offers. However, Bo helped us to write a convincing cover letter and communicated with the seller. Eventually, we were able to purchase this lovely house at a great price, roughly 150k below our budget. One of the best advise Bo offers is that he never ask his client to raise the offer price to purchase a property. Bo always tries to help his clients to get the best deal possible.
