Lasagne and Pepperoni rolls are fantastic. The Shrimp and Andouille sausage dish was good but the pasta soaked up the sauce. The crab stuffed mushrooms are also a good choice. Very nice restaurant with great selections. I tried the veggie wrap and it was little bland for my taste. It could have been really good with more seasoning. The wrap was toasted well and the veggies were cooked just right. I think adding some italian seasoning and parmesan cheese would have made it more flavorful. Went here for lunch on a weekday with a friend. Other diners were people on their lunch break. The service was fast and efficient. My friend ordered the $6.99 lunch special of the day a, calzone, which she said was great. It was too large for her to eat at one sitting so she took half of it home. it's been a while since i've visited here since my last review. i was really wanting pizza and not wanting to go very far. i didn't want the usual pizza hut or dominios. i've never actually tried the pizza here so i figured why not. i got the 8 in pizza with canadian bacon and artichokes. it was very good. the only real complaint i had is i like a thicker canadian bacon but the taste was on point. the cheese was delicious and had a nice stretch to it. the artichokes were hearty. the sauce is good, not great, but good. the waitress was attentive and friendly. i enjoyed my visit and came back again another night for a drink. they have great beers like canebrake and nola blonde on tap. this may be my new local spot! one thing to note is ladies beware the door to the ladies restroom does not close. read more

After trying to order Togo and calling a ton and no answer, we decided to go in and order to go. We ordered a build-your-own salad. While I sat at the to go bar, the phones were ringing off the hook with no one attempting to answer it. There was food all over the bar and dirty dishes. They originally came out with a small salad when I ordered a large, and the kitchen guy seemed upset when we sent it back. We ordered 5 toppings: Parmesan, mandarin oranges, bacon, pepperoni, and mozzarella. It came with green onions, no pepperoni, no parmesan, and looked like the same salad just in a bigger box. The food is good. My partner and I have been here several times and have always been satisfied with the taste and portion sizes of the dishes. The pizzas are a tad overpriced for the size, but make up for it in the quality. The food is cooked to order, and comes out in decent time. Very poor service, however, has had us rethinking visiting again. We have never received prompt service. It's a "sit where you'd like" atmosphere, but it never seems like a priority to bring over menus and take drink orders. The service was extremely slow. I called in an order at 6:42PM. They told me it would be 25-30 minutes, which is longer than typical (I thought 15-20 minutes is typical). Anyway, I arrived at the drive-in 35 minute later. I sat there at the window for about 10 minutes, waiting for my order. After no one acknowledged me, I called while looking at them! The family and I have been here several times. We enjoy the food. The 18" Gladiator pizza is a good thing to pick up on the weekend. It is loaded with topping and will last us two meals. It is pricey ($26) but is very large and better than other pizzas in town. I like the calzones and salads. The pasta dishes are nothing special, but not bad. I was a little (okay, a LOT) distraught when Pocomo's closed down and these guys opened in its place. We've eaten here several times, and although it's not anything super-spectacular, the food is usually solidly decent and it definitely beats a lot of the other options in town (ugh, fast food). I'm not a huge fan of the pizza - the crust is a little doughy for my liking (I'm one of those sacrilegious thin crust people, don't judge) and it was just kind of bland in terms of the sauce. Not to mention the fact that I was coming off THE BEST PIZZA IN THE HISTORY OF MANKIND, so it's possible my judgment is a little skewed on that one. The pasta is usually pretty good, though. They do a $5 spaghetti and meatballs special on Sundays that used to be my FAVEY FAVE but the last couple of times it was a little scarce on the sauce. The meatballs are yummy, which is a plus because I don't do the whole squish-raw-meat-around-in-your-hands thing. *shudder* They recently added a vegetarian pasta to the menu that's pretty good as well. It's all the veggies you would expect on a pizza -- onion, green pepper, black olive, mushrooms -- sautéed and tossed with some pasta (and probably olive oil and garlic and such, if I had to guess). Ask for it with a little of their marinara sauce thrown into the mix, you won't regret it. It's a great change of pace when you want something a little lighter but don't feel like cooking. They're always adding and cutting things on the menu, so definitely check it out before you just walk in and order sight unseen. read more

Well, one positive thing, is that the food is decent. Also, the live music on the weekend sounds great. Though, it seems that the staff is scrambling to meet the customers needs, because they are obviously short-staffed. I also witnessed the owner drive up to the pickup window for something, and couldn't even come into the reataraunt. If she had, she would have seen her staff struggling. I have eaten here multiple times, and it just doesn't seem this establishment has their priorities in check, you know, "the customers"!!!!!! My last experience, has angered me enough to write this review. There are some great employees but it is countered with bad ones. It is easy to see who is there to work, and who is there to collect a check. One time, there was an issue with flies, which I'm sure all restaurants have this issue, but I have heard from others, that they experienced this here as well. I'm writing this to not bash the restaraunt, but I do hope that maybe an employee sees this, and reads this to the owner. I can only imagine the business they could have, if more effort was put into this place. To finish, I would like to add that maybe renovations would help spice up the joint.
