Fresh made chips and salsa choices were brought to the table with napkins and utensils. Rhodes chips were just right. They were made from good tortillas, crisp fried in clean oil. I could have just had that for breakfast. I needed proteins, so I chose the Chilaquiles con Huevo in green salsa. I was told the red was not spicy but can be adjusted to my liking. My eggs (2) were over easy (well executed), served over cheesy corn fried tortilla strips with sour cream, tomatoes, refried beans, rice and guacamole. I make it through half the dish. The rest was taken home and eaten the next day. Just as tasty. I have more s dishes to try and a Summer month to do it.

They redeemed themselves with the quesabirria, though. The steak was proper. There is still something about Wha Taco that I can't pinpoint. I can't say if it's the empty parking lot all the time or if it's something missing in the flavor. It's not a bad pla e, but something is off.

Everything is fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with pride. The tortillas--made to order right in the back--are incredible to watch and even better to eat. You can peek in and see the dough being shaped and cooked by hand. The tacos are generously packed with tender meat, melty cheese, and bright, fresh toppings. They're so substantial that finishing more than one is a challenge in the best possible way.
