Secondly, while I was looking for a firm, therapeutic massage, my masseuse, who was older, didn't provide the level of pressure I needed. I didn't feel comfortable speaking up about it, which is on me, but it did affect the experience. Additionally, there were a couple of really awkward moments. My masseuse actually passed gas twice during the session, which was uncomfortable. Also, I noticed that extra oil or liquid was being added without them actually going over to any pump or container. My head was near the lotion container, so I could tell they were somehow adding more from somewhere else, which just felt odd and not very professional. In the end, the whole experience was far from what I hoped for, especially on a mommy self care day.

And that, the 60 minute massage was in fact only 50 minutes hands on, and they would need 5 minutes in the beginning and 5 minutes at the end of the session. I have been getting massages for 20 years and this is the first time I have ever heard of this. Typically the time for the massage starts once the therapist starts and you get your full time, whether it's 45 min or 60 min (not 10 minute less!). Beware of this place as you might get short changed on what you pay for. Not sure how this place has so many five star reviews as the owner was very rude on the phone.
