Beautiful resort like decor
Marissa M.

I loved my Margaritas bottomless brunch experience ! I'm so glad I didn't believe the terrible reviews and gave this place a chance ! The Cuban is the sister restaurant to Margaritas and a franchise of the owner and I love all the things here that I love about the Cuban. I decided to drop in during the last hour of brunch with my BFF while on break from work. Our waitress was awesome. We loved her ! She provided excellent service. Despite it being the last hour brunch we were able to get in on the bottomless cocktails for $7.95 for unlimited drinks. I didn't enjoy the rum punch but the mimosas were nice and strong !!!!!! My BFF shared that the rum punch tasted and smelled like shampoo. Not sure about that but it wasn't strong. Lol. This restaurant is gorgeous !!!!! With the marina located next door this is the perfect little getaway close to home ! The views are beautiful and the decor here is gorgeous !!!!!! Rustic Mexican colors and vibrant at that ! Lovely art! Awesome architecture. A beautiful patio with a stage. For brunch I had the Huevos Texacanos ( egg scramble, chorizo, peppers, onion, avocado and 3 tortillas. My friend had the steak and eggs and was very satisfied. Very good. Not impeccable but tasty for the price. I paired it with a few mimosas and I felt like I died and went to heaven. The music was festive. A lot of bachata ! Had me dancing in my seat. If they had a live DJ that would be the cinnamon sugar on the churros ! That's all they're missing ! Yesterday following the 4th of July holiday I had a early dinner with a friend. This was my first outdoor dining experience post COVID19. Margaritas did a amazing job staying organized with guests. Everyone wore masks and the tented seating was very comfortable. We enjoyed a pitcher of mango margaritas to start. Service was impeccable. A total of 3 different waiters waited on us. The food could have been better. My shrimp suiza enchiladas were ok. The shrimp was very good but the rest of the dish wasn't very flavorful. I added hot sauce and that didn't help. 4 stars. They decorated the patio space differently and it looks gorgeous. Such a awesome place for a celebration. We enjoyed a live performance as well.

I wanted Mexican and this seemed to be best place for it in Freeport. There was a half hour wait and the staff took care with masks, gloves and sanitizing in between diners, which put me at ease. They put their homemade chips and salsa on the table, which were authentic tasting. My mixed enchiladas entree was good. The side of guac was very good- homemade. The manager was running around, checking on everyone and pitched in whenever needed. I had to wait more than 30 minutes for the food to arrive, but it was a busy Saturday night and the pandemic slows everything down. Overall, I give Margarita's a 3.5 stars. The food: 3.5 stars. The service: 3 stars The view/ambience was waterfront and festive- 5 stars. They have valet parking but there's plenty of street parking.

Went to Willy's Margarita's Cafe in Freeport with family to enjoy a nice lunch by the water! This little spot did not disappoint as the drinks & food were good. We had calamari which was above average & the PARRILLA MEXICANA was more than enough for 2. The homemade guacamole was also super!

Jalapeno Poppers also so good

Good food and ambiance Pretty little set up Live music is a good idea however the music selection was off. It should of been on the Hispanic side considering it's "margaritas"

Friendly staff, Tacos were very flavorful, enjoyed the refried beans. Would definitely recommend. They had live band on Friday evening.

UPDATE- the owner William reached out to me after seeing my review and apologized. He offered me a gift card to come back in and dine and apologized heavily for the service. William did the right thing and offered great customer service. I will go back soon and try dinner again here. Thank you William for taking the time to respond to my review I love margaritas and I love margaritas in east meadow. This one has good food but terrible service. We ordered drinks And apps and the apps came out before the drinks. Drinks came out after we finished our apps. My drink had a fly in It so he had to remake It so I waited another 10 minutes. Food is great but service is terrible. Slow!!! Please make the service better so I want to come back!

COVID REVIEW: Came here with a group of friends on a Sunday for lunch. It was warm out, which was an added bonus since we got a table facing the water. The food here is decent. I've been to other locations, that I felt their food was fresher. An added bonus was they offered us plastic cutlery, which I appreciated. As usual, the table always gets chips and salsa to start. We opted to order fresh table side guacamole as well. They restaurant was pretty empty but we felt we were waiting long. A nice women with her cart came over to use and asked how we liked our Guacamole. We prepared it for us (wearing gloves and a mask). It was delicious, and had just the right amount of heat and zest. I felt that this was the winner of the lunch because our meals were "eh". For my entree I ordered the taco salad, and substituted ground beef for grilled steak. The salad was pretty cool and came in a taco bowl shell. The steak was cooked well and it was fresh but the lettuce and other salad ingredients felt wet and soggy, maybe from too much dressing. Next time I think I would opt for a burrito or fajitas, as the table over to us ordered that and it looked delicious. FYI we felt a lot of the staff did not speak English, and therefor were rude or brushing us off when we needed something. There is also plenty of parking in the back.

Like always, Margaritas is always good. Went to check out the Freeport location for outdoor dining during this 2020 pandemic and was pleasantly surprised how big their outdoor area is. I felt safe while dining - their staff all wore masks and gloves. Probably the most normal I've felt since March. I had the tacos and they were delicious. Definitely had to have a margarita as well. Kudos to this restaurant for ensuring the safety of their staff and patrons during these crazy times.

Enjoying the outdoors . First time at this place ..

What an amazing experience .. the music .. the venue .. the view .. BUT specially the staff ..!! We have to thank Arbeo (I hope I am spelling his name right) a colombian gentleman who made our experience even greater as we were welcoming a friend who came come South America . Thank you again and a must visit again place ... keep the great work and attitude !!

Unfortunately, from the very beginning, the experience was disappointing. After being seated, our waitress took our drink order, but the drinks came out wrong. We brushed it off and hoped the food would make up for it, but unfortunately, it only got worse. We ordered nachos, pasta, chicken nuggets, and a $45 lobster roll. The nuggets were the only thing that was decent. The lobster roll was especially disappointing because it looked great, but it was overwhelmingly salty to the point it was hard to enjoy. The nachos were honestly terrible, with what tasted like cheese whiz and poorly seasoned chicken. I couldn't finish them. My sister ordered pasta and also couldn't finish hers because it just wasn't good. For a bill of over $200, the quality of the food was incredibly disappointing. We left hungry, frustrated, and honestly shocked by how poor the experience was. It was supposed to be a special celebration, but the food and overall experience completely missed the mark. Sadly, I would not return.

We were thinking that it would just be a boring ride that the tour guide will explain about the places we will be going. The ladies band music added to the great experience. There are many things to see and explore along the Nautical mile and staying during the night after the sunset boat trip was a very fun thing to do. Will I come back ? Sure , why not. I love the relatively new addition of the volleyball courts and the public workout station at the park along end of the mile. There's also a cute little ice cream shop called Sam's Scoops as well, which has a seriously yummy vegan cookies & cream flavor. My favorite thing to do on the mile is kayaking and spending a whole afternoon on the water. There's even a couple of "secret beach" islands, though they seem sort of inhabited, though fun to explore the perimeters of. Like I said, I really LOVE it here.

Fantastic Seafood and Great Vibes at Bracco's Clam Bar…read more Bracco's Clam Bar is a true gem for seafood lovers. They serve incredibly fresh seafood, straight from their own fish market right next door. We started with steamers and oysters--both were super fresh and flavorful. For a holiday/waterfront dining experience on the Nautical Mile, I expected pricing to be on the higher side, but I will say the menu itself felt a bit limited for that price point. Still, the restaurant is absolutely a cute spot and definitely one of the nicer looking restaurants in the area with a great atmosphere and lounge vibe. The cocktail menu was honestly one of the highlights of the night. The drinks were well made, flavorful, and fun. You can tell they put thought into their cocktail program and presentation. For appetizers, we ordered the wings, fried shrimp, and crab cake. All three were very good. The wings were flavorful, the shrimp were crispy and fresh, and the crab cake was nicely done as well. For my entrée, I chose the blackened salmon with jasmine rice and vegetables. The salmon itself was cooked nicely and the portion size was solid, though overall the dish was a little on the salty side and felt somewhat simple/minimal for a special holiday prix fixe menu. Service was a little hit or miss. At one point I was brought something completely different from what I ordered. However, it was Mother's Day and the restaurant was clearly very busy, so I can understand the staff possibly being overwhelmed by the holiday crowd. Our server herself was still very sweet and pleasant throughout the evening. Overall, I enjoyed the experience more for the ambiance, drinks, and overall vibe than the actual prix fixe menu. I'd definitely consider going back on a regular night to try their standard dinner menu because I think that would give a better feel for the restaurant outside of the holiday rush.
