The staff is so amazingly nice, are very accommodating for appointments - they also call you with a reminder a couple days in advance. The hygienists are great at keeping you distracted from what is going on inside your mouth while you're there, and are always a pleasure to talk to. I've had cavities filled here as well - I'd gotten them as a result of poor dentistry when I was a kid, and they coated your teeth to "protect" them, but it ended up trapping whatever was on them originally... long story short, not a great scenario. Anyway, Dr. Gioffre found them, did a great job filling them, answered all of my million questions, and the hygienist on my case kept me laughing the whole time. I 100% recommend everyone there.

Having limited insurance, I have not seen a dentist in years and it shows (broken teeth, cavities, missing crowns). This week, a crown broke off and that tooth gave sleep-robbing pain all night. I called Wahl when they opened in the morning; despite being a new patient, they welcomed me at the door within the hour. Susan, who answered my call, was there to greet me. We filled out paperwork and she let me know each potential procedure and cost estimates since she knew I was paying cash and couldn't afford anything major. This was done in an understanding, compassionate manner, not the "you better not stiff us, jerk" manner some care facilities utilize when they know you are uninsured. Dr. Peggy and her assistant got me settled in quickly. After a quick x-ray, my tooth was extracted. Dr. Peggy explained each step ahead of time, constantly made sure I was doing okay, and when I wasn't we stopped and made adjustments. Never once did she admonish me for the condition of my mouth. We solely focused on the issue at hand. Checkout was painless, where I was encouraged to look a little closer at my insurance and submit my info anyway to see if any of my appointment could be covered (I submitted this info via e-mail later in the day and received a reply promptly). Before I left, Susan came by with a card detailing the next few things we might want to do (standard checkup, complete x-rays) if and when I have the chance. She provided the cost for each as well, knowing that was a concern. The office is clean, professional, sincerely friendly, and truly caring. On their website, Dr. Wahl explains how his father took much effort to establish a practice that made a difference through their relationship with their patients. It shows. I had a tooth extraction done by Dr. Patel and his assistant Tiffany. They both did such an amazing job making me feel comfortable and reassured. The extraction went smoothly -- I didn't feel a thing. A week later, I went back for fillings with Dr. Whitney, who went above and beyond to make everything look flawless. Needless to say, I've been to the dentist three times in three weeks and already have a treatment plan to go back again -- and I'm actually excited about it! We realized we hadn't received a statement for months. They told us they needed to look at our account. Why??? The office submits claims to our insurance, the insurance states what we're obligated to pay and we submit payment. When we finally received an actual statement it was so convoluted and some figures didn't match what was submitted to insurance or what they paid and what we were obligated to pay. Beware of the incompetence in this office. We have left the practice. We can't keep correcting their errors and deal with such lack of basic knowledge for billing patients
