Delicious, delicious, delicious! If it's a busy weekend, go early because it will sell out. And be prepared to wait in line so be patient but the food is worth the wait since it is made to order. Highly recommend the prosciutto and arugula pizza, ginger and garlic wings and Greek salad. The pizza crust is so good too! True to the restaurant name, we got it to go; but there is indoor and outdoor seating.

We had pizza. It wasn't bad but very plain. The service was cold. We felt like we were an inconvenience but maybe she had an off day. If you get pizza add lots of flavorful items. I'd rather give 3.5

Marta's options are eclectic and this one is no exception. I walked into this little store and asked for a margarita. Did that mean a pizza or the drink? They serve both in addition to an interesting array of items. I ordered the pizza. It looks like a classic margarita but the dough, although filling, could use a rethink. With few choices for pizza in town, this will serve in a pinch.

Pecan cookies right out of the oven !

Cute local spot with yummy food! We got the margarita pizza, meatball sub, and cookies. The pizza is made in a wood fired oven. It tasted really good and you can tell all the ingredients were fresh. The meatballs on the sub were tender and flavorful. The sub bread had a nice crunch too. We for chocolate chip cookies and the pecan ones. Both were really yummy and soft. The pecan ones had just come out of the oven, so we couldn't pass that up. They had a good soft texture with a slight crunch. This place has a nice cactus garden around back to enjoy your food and the dessert atmosphere of Marfa!

Walked in thinking it was such a cute ambiance and it was! We ordered food. I originally wanted wings but they ran out for the day so we ordered pizza no problem. I ordered an Agua Fresca of horchata. It was very sweet and everyone at my table agreed it genuinely tasted so sweet, fake like an horchata syrup or packet. BTW We're Mexican so I'd say we have a fair to good experience of tasting what authentic horchata is. I had only taken 3 sips and wasn't liking it so I politely asked if I was able to switch it out for another agua Fresca instead. And I told the cashier if not that was totally fine no worries. The cashier looked over at the owner or the older lady behind the desk for approval who I assumed was the owner and she was so rude at my request. She rolled her eyes and shrugged at my request. She then proceeded to switch my drink out with attitude and rudeness even though I said if they didn't want to allow me to switch it out that would have been fine I just wanted to ask because you never know if you don't ask. Overall, place is cute. Outdoors area is cute. Pizza was decent. But the owner or lady was SOOOO rude at my basic request for switching out a drink I thought was too sweet. For that basic unkindness to a customer I would not come again or recommend.

Caesar salad - on point!

The food and the service was excellent. Smaller inside with drinks in coolers, small bar menu. The 1/2 and 1/2 prickly pear and lime margarita was good. Loved the Caesar salad and kale salad. Cedars dressing was very tasty and croutons delicious, loved the thick shaved Parmesan. The kale salad was fresh and flavorful and enough to share and have some for breakfast the next day. The crust on all the pizzas we had was sourdough perfection. Chewy, crispy goodness. The pepperoni was delicious, loved the chicken pesto, kids liked bacon bacon. Looking forward to trying the meatballs next time as well as the hummus. Service was friendly and prompt. We sat outside in the garden out back and throughly e joyed our visit. Highly recommended stopping by. Looking forward to going back!

Such an interesting spot with quick delicious pizza! Loved their assortment of interesting snacks and shopping!

Hard to believe they didn't realize it was this messy at 5 o'clock in the afternoon! Lazy staff.

Could've been so much more... Unfortunately, this place disappointed. Cool building on the outside, but lacked in the atmosphere on the inside. Staff was pretty indifferent to providing service or even cleaning up the place. Food was mediocre at best, but it was the only thing open on Sunday night. Made us wish we'd left Marfa Sunday morning.

The ladies here are amazing! The items they sell inside are amazing! They do a frozen cocktail with sotol and it's also amazing! We picked up so many gluten free and CBD items from the shop and for a pepperoni pizza. We needed to grab something for lunch and we were in between lunch and dinner hours so our options were pretty limited. Great find and highly recommend at least to just pop into the store!

We started with the salad, which was a solid opener--fresh, generous portion, and overall enjoyable. Nothing that really stood out, but definitely not a miss. The pizza was... okay. You can tell it's fire oven cooked, which is usually a win, but ours came out a bit too toasty--borderline burnt on one side. It also wasn't cut properly, which made things a little awkward. Some slices weren't cut through at all (had to ask for a knife), and others were uneven--ranging from oversized wedges to tiny slivers. Service was a little scattered, but to be fair, we came in toward the end of the night and our server mentioned it had been a hectic evening. No real complaints there--just felt a bit rushed and disorganized. A couple of downsides: they close at 9:30, which isn't ideal if you're looking for a late-night bite or drink, and there's no room service--you have to head down to order. Overall, it's a convenient spot if you're staying at the hotel and need something easy, but it's not necessarily a destination meal. Convenient? Yes. Notable? Meh.

I had a fresh Cobb Salad with romaine and butter lettuce, cherry tomato, chicken and bacon. The avocado and fresh goat cheese blended in with a whole grain mustard vinaigrette for exceptional flavor on the lighter side of decadent. Grab a Topo with lime for a refreshing placebo buzz. Service with a smile.

Cochineal - Happy that I followed Dallas's recommendation and ordered the steak.

I found this place when googling nice spots in Marfa, TX. It's a really interesting restaurant;…read moreseems it was built inside an old house? It's for a very Texas upscale vibe tho, I liked the ambiance quite a bit! They had a lot of tables outside with heat lamps because it does get cool in the evenings, and they had regular tables and bar seating inside. We didn't have a reservation bc I wasn't sure what time we'd be arriving, but luckily they were able to seat us immediately at the bar since all the other tables were taken (wait for a table was almost an hour and a half). Our waitress (her name was Dallas) was super sweet and attentive and clearly knew the menu well. It's not a very long menu and the portion sizes were a little small for the price, hence 4/5 stars. But the flavors were excellent! My dad and I both got the risotto which had a little more to the portion, and my mom got the trout which was admittedly very small for like $35ish. But as I said, excellent flavor there! She also got a cocktail for like $16ish that they made off menu because she likes sweeter drinks and all the main menu drinks were pretty dry. I spent like $170 in total for all our food plus tax and tip I think? Objectively not terrible, but again for the price - it was a little high. Will also mention they had a single stall restroom, it was immaculate! And there was a good bit of street parking just around the corner from the place in front of a church, so even though there's no lot you can find a place to park.

We asked the waitress, how long it would take and she said it would take 1.5 hours. We were there for 3.5 hours! Our first indication of the slow service was after we ordered drinks, they came 50 minutes later. They were pretty watery so we wondered if they were sitting at the bar for a while. The food was delicious though took a very long time between the courses. The variety of food was great from white asparagus to rabbit to delicious bison ribs. It's too bad the service took so long, this could have been a wonderful experience.

There is a decent size dining room, a nice bar area with high top tables, and tables outside on the patio. We stopped there to grab something to eat on the way to the Star Party at the McDonald Observatory. Not being very hungry, we split the Rio Grande Brisket Taco while sitting at the bar. The brisket was flavorful and plentiful; delicious. The bartender was busy, yet still attentive. The food orders we saw all looked good and plentiful. I wish we could have stayed a while longer, but we had a 20 minute drive to the observatory. Unfortunately, cloud cover pretty much ruined the Star Party, however, we were pleasantly surprised that a refund was offered. I highly recommend a stop at the Blue Mountain and check-out Fort Davis.

Of course I ordered the Old Fashioned. 7 out 10. Not bad. For dinner my dad and I had the Chicken Fried Chicken and my nephew had the double cheeseburger. We cleaned out plates. Food was great. All in all I will definitely recommend and will be returning.
