I was greeted almost immediately when I got there, and my pet was, too. The groomer was friendly and polite. She clearly had an affinity for dogs. She asked questions on how short to cut his hair, the look that I was going for, etc. He emerged from his session about 2 1/2 hours later looking happy and great. I give Doggie Styles an A+, and would definitely return.

I called many of the local dog daycare/boarding locations but all of them were booked or were not taking new dogs. Then came The Animal Inn to the rescue! They quickly responded to my voicemail and were able to take both dogs that day! After a few minute conversation about our dogs, their vaccination records, and where to locate the facility, we were all set up and dropped the dogs off about an hour later. The whole process was very easy, and once in-person with the staff it is very clear that they are experienced and care about your dogs. They gave us many options and asked us many questions to make sure both us and the dogs would be comfortable with their stay. I also liked that I could bring in bones from home for them, but it was also nice that they have blankets and everything there so I didn't have to bring all of their belongings with us. When we picked them up, the staff member told us that one of our dogs wouldn't come inside after playtime and gave the staff a smiling grin with her squinted eyes - which is a clear sign to me that they let our dogs have fun and that they were enjoying themselves, because that's her exact behavior at home when she's happy. For the two dogs boarded together with additional play time at night and in the morning, it was $57! I still can't get over that. Our daycare at home is $50 per dog per night with no added extras. I would absolutely bring our dogs back if we're in the Marquette area again, and anyone looking for boarding should feel comfortable bringing their pups here as well.

After this last stay, they will never go back and I wouldn't recommend anyone else send your dogs here. Our dog showed up on a harness, which we told them couldn't stay on her. They left it on her all weekend and now she has a huge infected hot spot under her neck. When I called to ask the place about it the owner pretty much said "oh well sorry I wasn't here when your dogs were" and "I guess I'll chew out the other people working there". When I asked to be reimbursed for the vet bill I will now have, she yelled "send me the damn bill I guess I'll pay it" the place takes no accountability for what happens to your dogs under their care.

We had to travel 2 hours to Bayshore for Ruby to receive TPLO surgery, which in the end, required two additional surgeries. It was a long haul of appointments and recovery time, but we are back to normal and it is absolutely because of Dr. Tim's persistence, patience, compassion and skill! Dr. Tim made sure we were taken care of over the course of 6 months between appointments and flexibility of booking and rescheduling those when weather was bad (winter months), answering questions and assisting with issues after hours and on weekends, and even while he was out of town, too. He took care of us like family and we could never repay him for his kindness. Dr. Tim is hands down the best vet we have ever worked with and we'd do it again and again if it were ever needed (and as much as we love Bayshore vet, we hope we don't run into issues where she needs orthopedic surgery again)! If Bayshore were closer, we'd switch to them as our primary vet in a heartbeat. We really hit the jackpot when we met Dr. Tim and we are so glad we landed in the hands of a man who truly, wholeheartedly cares and wants what is best for you and your pet. The staff could not be more friendly or helpful. Anne was our cashier, signed us up for the rewards programs and pointed out a few ways to make our dollars go further. She is super knowledgeable, very attentive and treated us like valued regulars on our very first visit! With a quick walk-around we were planning a second bird feeder station, trying on some snow gear and even looking at some new blue jeans. It was fun to shop here. We came home with a rugged outdoor vest of many pockets and cozy slippers. Open parking lot, very accessible entrance and so many quality items - we are big fans and future frequent shoppers!

I mentioned it to another staff who then reported it to Dr. Jandron who in turn took time from his busy schedule to call me and discuss my concern. He was and is always professional, understanding and sympatric to my feelings. I don't understand the negative review. It doesn't cost anywhere near $3,000 for euthanasia services and autopsy's aren't conducted on a cysts. Maybe a biopsy? I am truly sorry for the loss of his dog, but there has to be more to the story than what is posted. NVA has excellent doctors. They keep up with the latest Veterinarian medicine. I hear good things about this office all the time. On a personal level this office has guided me through several off hour emergencies, difficult diagnoses, referrals' to Fox Valley Animal Medical center and more. They work directly with Fox Valley to care for the patient. FVAC is the one that makes the money and a lot of it, yet NVA will perform all follow up care after surgery/treatments have been preformed at Fox Valley. I have very high standards for doctors (Bedside manners). In Veterinary care it's you and your four/two legged family member, which to me is no different than a family medical doctor treating your and your child. For either type of doctors their bedside manner should be the same (caring and professional ) and that's what you get at NVA. I highly recommend this office.
