We had sewage backing up in both bathrooms. We called the plumber after trying to auger the drain…read morepipes. Justice said he could not recreate the problem, to call drain dawgs if it continued because they're better at drains. He told me he couldn't fix the tub drain top on the bathtub either. That the entire shower and bath unit would need to be pulled out and the entire pipe replaced. Then he charged me $50. As soon as he left the sewage backed up in the bathroom. We called a different plumber who hydrojetted the lines and said there was definitely a clog. That fixed it temporarily so then I contacted Roto Rooter to put a camera in, he located the issue in the front yard close to the city line. Metronet put their line through our drain pipe. So the pipe was broken and the mud kept filling the hole and backing up. This guy didn't offer to investigate or look in to it at all. The bathtub train top was also replaced, along with the toilet wax ring. I didn't have to pull anything out.

Not the best first impression: I knew I had a broken or disconnected pipe in my outside shower as…read moreit's been an issue for a few years now with our brutal winters. All the pipes are inside a wall and insulated. That said, James and Michael responded within 24 hours which is a rarity in this area and I really appreciated the promptness. The remedy was a surprise at $600 and the service charge of $96 was even more of a surprise. In short, I wanted to give it some thought. I'm also a strong believer in a second opinion although it's hard to compare "apples to apples." Although a good friend recommended Boot's I had not used them before and perhaps the trust issue was a factor although I had no reason to not trust their opinion of the remedy. Quite coincidentally, a plumber I've known for 25 years was in the neighborhood and stopped by that same day. He fixed the issue, albeit temporary in all likelihood and had the shower running in minutes by simply placing the pipe back in position. Used the shower that evening without incident. In closing, I can't say anything negative nor would I, because they really didn't do anything. We had him out several times, and he missed his promised time every single time. We had to call several times when he forgot he was supposed to be at our job. Still, once he was there, he would work diligently and make every effort to do things the right and best way, not the easiest way. He did not take shortcuts, and you want an electrician who cares about doing your wiring correctly. He also took the time to solve problems we presented that were not part of the original plan, and he added them in at a fair price. This probably explains why he was often late. It can be hard to know how long a job will take, especially when you are doing your best to do things safely and correctly and taking the time to do it right. So we were understanding about that, once at our house, he often stayed longer than scheduled to make sure we were happy and the job was done correctly. We will use him again.

We kept calling asking why nothing was getting done. He said he forgot and told us to call and remind him the following Monday. And we were met with nothing. Now our warranty company will not fix our tub off this claim and is saying we need to fill out a new claim and pay another service fee. Now he's not answering our calls because he knows he needs to give us a refund. We've been fighting to get our tub fixed since March. It is now July almost August. He does not value professionalism nor your time nor money in the slightest. Please do not go to him.
