I called Tom's and explained the situation and they were able to fit me in for a same day appointment, I showed up, asked a few questions and was given very helpful information, and then they reset the reminder free of charge! The appointment was this morning and it all went well. The only thing that may cause me to not go there again is that they charge a $160 diagnostic fee that does not apply to fixing the car, just figuring out what might be wrong with it. I've been to places before where there is a charge that would then be applied to the repair, but here they clearly say it is a separate non-refundable fee that would not be applied to repair costs. If they guarantee it's accurate, then it might be money well spent. But if it's not and we end up searching for a cause with multiple fees... I'm really iffy on that. So far that hasn't been the case.
