Well out of our way, but we had a coupon, so the movie was free (of course we spent as much on food...) This place has a solid three-star average, and that feels about right. It's a touch out of date, and doesn't seem very busy (but to be fair that's on a summer weekday afternoon.) Still, no complaints about the movie quality or sound. Just the amenities are not quite up to par with other places in town. Comfy seats. Friendly staff. Small selection of snacks, but hey, enough to get you through the movie. Odd that the men's and women's restrooms are on opposite sides of the lobby; one of each on each side would be more convenient. Checkin was weird- we bought online and I figured we'd scan in at the theater itself, but we had to wait in line with people buying their tickets and then get our code scanned. Just took a little longer. But don't worry, we still had time to see the half-dozen previews. I'm being snarky and nitpicky. It was fine. I'd come again. Haven't been to the movies in years and decided to see the new "Twisters" film. I assume there are 17 theaters since we were in #17. Pro Tip: If you go and can't find screen 17? Don't look over by screen #16, it's on the other side, at the end of the #1-7 hall. Theater 17 has the Ultrascreen DLX, which, to be honest, I'm too old to tell the difference. Sure the screen is bigger, but placing speakers throughout the house was a waste on me. The leather reclining seats are old and worn out, in desperate need of reupholstering. The heater in mine didn't work, but since it's July and it didn't feel like the a/c was even on, it didn't much matter. The concessions were great but pricey! $17 for popcorn and a big drink is ludicrous. Bet your arse we jumped on the free refills! Very disturbing that there is a need for three armed, vested security enforcers in the lobby. One of the young ushers tried to explain how I should feel safer. I was in this game too many years and know what's really going on. Just didn't have the heart to lay the truth on her. Took my wife here for a date night, and it did not go as planned. The theater was freezing cold, and my seat was broken. The customer service is meh. As we were leaving the icebox that doubled as a movie theater, I noticed that quite a few of the chairs were in rough shape. The leather was peeling, and the walls needed to be repainted. Doubt I will return, I will stick with AMC. Just a heads up, they no longer do free popcorn on Tuesdays. The only positive thing about our date was the film itself. The Marcus Crosswoods theater is much cleaner than this one. Unfortunately I live in Pickerington. Most of the employees try hard and a few are excellent. It needs a serious remodel. The restrooms have a feint smell of piss. read more

I love this movie theater! They offer great prices (they offer a military discount), $5 movie Tuesdays, and the theater rooms always seems to be pretty clean. I love that they have a rewards program for members too. I got a free soda for my birthday which was unexpected and nice! The staff are always extremely friendly too. The only reason why I knocked this down a star was because there was one incidence where I ordered the pretzel nuggets and they gave them to me completely stale and hard as a rock. You could tell that they had been sitting out for quite some time. I do want to mention though that when I took them back to the counter, they made me a fresh batch of new pretzel bites with no complaints. Great customer service! Marcus remains a fine theater and I'm very find of their Flex Plus subscription (I hope they keep it as I remember them ending their previous club fifteen years ago and feeling very disappointed). Completely overpriced. They charge extra for their super screen or ultra screen... but from what I can tell it's just a larger screen in a larger theater. And since the theater itself is larger, you're sitting further away from the screen so in effect the experience isn't that different from a regular screen. It's not like IMAX where you actually see more from anther aspect ratio. And they show 20 minutes of previews before the movie even starts. Terrible. read more

Review update: While on crutches post hip surgery, we arrived much earlier than normal to accomodate my slower than normal speed. We were told we were 15mins too early to enter the main lobby and meeded to wait, standing, in the entrance where you buy tickets. I asked if we could at least go in and sit in the lobby given the circumstances and was denied. So, I stood for 15mins on my crutches in the entrance way until we were allowed to enter the lobby. I am the first person to recognize rules are in place for a reason but I also understand there are extenuating circumstances at times which call for a bit of compassion to the unique situation. Sure, I could have stayed home but I had been stuck in my bedroom for 6 weeks and desperately wanted to get out of the house and thought a movie would be a nice change of scenery where I could sit/lay back as needed. Since this incident, my husband and I have continued coming to this theater because it's the closest one to our house and we enjoy seeing movies. However, every time we visit the soda machines are deplorable and look as if they haven't been cleaned in days, or longer and the countertops are equally as sticky and gross. read more

I love this movie theater! It's close to home and right next to a good variety of restaurants. I tried just about everything on the menu at the concession stand and I've never had anything to complain about. Everything is pretty tasty. I'm actually a huge fan of their hot dogs. They offer a $5 discount night on Tuesdays couple which applies to all showings of all movies. That's great, but it tends to invite and extremely large required am I so prepare for congestion inside and outside if you go on that day. Seating is extremely comfortable and spacious and the crew is good enough immediately after the show. I know this is expected in any theater, but not everyone does this. I think they do an excellent job of maintaining the restrooms as well. read more

Safe and busy movie theater! Situated in the busy area in Pickerington, this location picks up a lot of business. There is always a cop/cops at the location to ensure the safety of customers. My favorite feature is $5 movie Tuesday! The concession food is also discounted on Tuesday. It gets BUSY though. If you don't pre-order your tickets, you likely won't be able to get in for any movie. This is the best method for seeing new releases, as long as you order ahead of time. Seating is great, newly renovated. The "cheap" seats are comfy and recline. To pay more for the "expensive" seats you get heated seats and better sound on the screen. read more

The movie stopped working half way through. When it started again, it was at a random place in the movie. Turns out they all stopped in that theater. They would only offer a pass to see another movie later date instead of refunding my money . The place was 25 miles away for me. I can't see me going there again and I wasted gas money in it. I rarely come to Marcus theaters but never have a bad experience. We went on a Monday and the power was halfway out. There was a girl greeting people outside letting them know the situation and was unable to give a eta on when they would open. She did hand out a few passes for another movie for the couple who already bought theirs. My group went out to dinner across the parking lot at long horn and then did some window shopping across the way. By the time we came out the power was back on. What a gem we have in Pickerington! Absolutely love that every Tuesday is $5 any movie any time! Myself and my teens are always checking our schedule to see if we can squeeze in a movie on Tuesdays. The theater itself is clean and very friendly. Anytime I have ever had an issue it was taken care of right away. Seats are all leather and reclining and you can always repurchase your exact seat pre movie. Which is super handy when you are running around last min. This is a nice movie theater with some nice weekly deals. They have a great concession stand and a nice bar. The actual theater rooms can be a little dirty and in some rooms the lights don't dim correctly when the movie starts . But the chairs are super comfortable and recline. I am absolutely disgusted by the lack of communication regarding curfews. We purchased our tickets through the app a few days ago for a PG-13 movie for my 17yr boys and were not notified of the "youth escort policy" that went into place on February 18, 2022. My three boys missed half of the movie because I had to turn around and drive all the way back to the movie theaters to purchase a ticket. Management notified me that corporate wasnt notifying the public via the app or website of the recent policy changes. Really? We spent $60 in tickets alone and didn't even get the experience that we paid for. I have tried to call the customer service number numerous times but get a voicemail. I'm also unable to request a refund or change in purchase because our issue wasn't presented 1hr prior to the movie start time. You all need to do better! read more

Would not let my child (16) in after 6pm with her friend (15) in to watch a movie with tickets i had already purchased and they were stranded at the theatre because they were not let in without someone over 25 to see a pg-13 movie. I love this Cinema. It aires all of the movies you can think of. Don't worry most of these movies here don't go away until like 2 months. The popcorn is delicious you can ask the people how much butter you want and how you want it, and it doesn't cost extra. They have the best seats. Most of the seats in Marcus are recliners which is kinda perfect if you want to lay back and relax eating buttery popcorn, while watching a new movie. I would recommend getting Marcus Cinema Movie Rewards. If you get it you can get a free box of popcorn*only on Tuesdays. And also, You should go on Tuesday's and make sure you buy your ticket online a few days before you see the movie because if you don't it is gonna be sold out. Most of the time it is packed. The reason you should go on Tuesdays is because the movies are only $5!...$5!!!!! You can watch the most expensive movie that would cost a lot at different theatres, but Marcus has $5. You should also buy the Year bucket. So there is this bucket that costs like $25. But once you buy it you get a huge discount on popcorn. One of the nicest theaters in central Ohio. There is a Marcus in Worthington which is similar. All seats recline fully; even the regular digital movies. Plenty of space. AMC has new vibrating seats (Dolby), which are awesome. However, they don't fully recline. Overall cleanliness and choice of food and drinks are good. Nice bar area as well. It is a little more expensive (especially matinees) than AMC, but worth the price. read more

1/31/2017 445PM Triple Movie: I enjoy going to this theater. Their rewards program comes with no annual fees. Every Tuesday is $5 movies all day and they have discounts on popcorn and snacks. They have added a full bar, real food menu, and soon will be 100% of the new leather lounge chairs. I enjoy the updates to keep this place current and desirable. Nothing worth than dated facilities. Old stuff comes off as overused, worn out and super dirty. I just wish the customers would respect this theater more. People that come here are super dirty and messy. They clearly were raised by wild animals and have entitlement issues because there is no excuse to leave to trash behind. It's like they should install flaps underneath each step that is hooked up to a big vacuum system so such up all of the trash. I'm going to start calling people out. They're so misleading with their age restrictions. I have been told on multiple occasions that my daughter can go to the movies after 6pm as a 16 year old without a guardian but on her recent visit they refused to sell her and her friend a ticket because she had to be 18. I frankly find this confusing and downright dumb. Why should a 16-17 year old need their mom with them to see a PG-13 movie? I understand if this was the case all along but why tell her that she could get in at 16 if she couldn't? And why set the time at 6pm? That's really early! This theater is going downhill. The seats are worn out, ripped, and dirty. The restroom is dirty and old. So sad.

So when I first arrived my credit card got declined to buy a ticket for the movie through the self serve kiosk. Then I went to an actual human being and like the kiosk he was a little annoying too and said well your credit card has been declined just give me cash. What a greedy way to experience this movie theatre. Not only that they were trying to sell me the minion pins like they needed my money even more. I met my friend after being worried about the credit card being declined. She and Giovanna here on Yelp, calmed me down a bit. We get to the movie itself for Mockingjay: Part 1 and the theatre seats are so old and uncomfortable. I thought they would have the dream recliner seats like the one in Worthington off Hutchinson. The only thing I do like about this movie theatre is that you all don't know but I actually went to the AMC after this movie with my husband. The AMC theatre was more of a disaster than this one. I had a huge headache because the amp was played too loud that it seemed they were having technical difficulties there without telling the movie goers. Not only that I got stuck sitting next to someones baby. While I only go out to watch a movie a couple of times a year, Pickerington Cinema is a great place to watch a movie. The theaters and bathrooms are clean, they have a friendly staff, and get some good crowds. Inside to see the show they have comfortable seats with room to move and breathe. They offer great sound and picture quality. The lobby is large and well organized. They have a good selection of food at snack bar as well as pretty fast service when they are busy. Getting tickets online makes life easy. Prices are moderate but that is life in the theater business as concessions are where there margins are and making movies is not getting cheaper. Not saying to be critical of Pickerington Cinema, I mention because PC at least gives you some bang for your buck, has invested in and updated their facilities, and identifies and trains their staff well. No problems recommending this place. read more

There has been quite a few upgrades to this theater of the past few years. The 'regular theaters' have very comfortable chairs that recline slightly leaving you plenty of room for your legs. I can say, they aren't awesome about cleaning, at least at the end of the night... the trash - at least the two bins I saw - were overflowing. I do like that their popcorn comes in a tub vs a bag --- keeps your hands cleaner. I will say, $10 per person is a bit hefty -- that's more expensive compared to Easton. read more

Updating my review from five years ago, mainly because of the recliners. Yes, this theater now has a full bar and a "restaurant" inside. You can order and take your food into the theater, but there's no "table seating". Be aware you'll have to hold the food/rest it in the armrest and eat. Best upgrade is the recliners in some of theaters. Dark red leather. Comfy, yet firm, padding. Watching Baby Driver from the second row from the screen was a-ok since the seats recline far. Bonus: go see a movie in a recliner theater on $5 Tuesdays, and that makes your trip worth it. read more
