We went to this theater to see Wicked: For Good, which we did like! The first thing I noticed is that the theater was extremely dark compared to what a theater is like during previews. I was a little worried I would trip finding my seat. The movie started at time and played well and the volume was great! My biggest gripe was with the food. It took almost an hour to be brought to us and the only reason we got it was because my husband left the movie to ask about it. When we finally got it delivered it was freezing cold, which tells me it had been made a long time ago and they forgot about it and didn't bring it out. I didn't even eat the cheese curds because they were so cold they weren't good and they also did not bring my side of ranch. My chicken wings seemed like they had been in the fridge, though they were tasty. It's sort of an awkward situation in a movie theater because once you realize your food is cold or they forgot something, you would have to leave your seat and miss the movie to get it resolved, which is sometimes just not worth it. We got to see the movie, which was very fun, but the facilities at this particular theater are not quite as good as the other Marcus Theaters I have been to. Date of visit: January 8, 2025 Once upon a time this was a shiny jewel in the Marcus Theatres crown; a serious upgrade from Northtown. Yet time has not been kind of this movie palace, it is practically falling apart--you would think it was run by AMC it is in such disrepair. The chairs are sagging and the armrests are crooked, and don't even get me started on the men's room! Hopefully Greg Marcus comes here to shoot one of his promo videos and sees that deferred maintenance is out of control and gets it back to its former glory. read more

My family and I attended a show at the Menomonee Falls Marcus. My daughter's wallet fell out of her purse while we were in the theater. We walked out the door of the building when we discovered this. Management would not let us go back in there and take a look and they did not offer to do that for us. As you might imagine, this caused a significant amount of stress for all of us, especially our daughter.These people lack judgment. We even called the police and the cop just rolled his eyes when the manager told him we had to wait until the next showing was over. We won't be back. read more

I know there is rules in place for being of age or whatever but I am nearly 20 years old and so is my girlfriend. We went to an 8:55 showing and got ID checked and I forgot mine at home and they denied me to watch a kids movie. I offered to show a picture of my ID and they denied me. I know there is rules but this is fucking ridiculous and you guys lost a loyal customer. Not to mention the worker was very rude. Also very mad because I drove 20 minutes one way to see a movie. Update: I came back with my ID I presented it to the lady without saying a word. We tend to go to this theater more than any other in the area. Why? It's clean, comfortable, and there never seem to be long lines for either tickets or concessions. What more could you want? Plus, they have dream loungers. What is a dream lounger, you ask? It's precisely what it sounds like. In every theater I've been in here, they have automatic recliners that are well stuffed, plush, and beautifully comfortable (plus they're upholstered with some sort of soft vinyl, so cleaner than a lot of movie theater seats). Beyond that, their prices are pretty average for any theater and, as seems to be the Wisconsin fashion, they have a full bar. Who wouldn't like a beer or cocktail with their movie watching? Despite being 24 and 26 (my boyfriend forgot his ID) we were told they would not sell us tickets at all due to their policy. We have never had this problem buying tickets online. Ordinarily, I'm a fan of the old style, neighborhood theater (especially if they still have a theater organ!) but that's a dying breed and certainly an endangered species. Living where I do, this cinema is the closest to home. Besides being most convenient for me, it's also loaded with features that modern moviegoers demand. Let's check 'em out. 16 auditoriums - check. Online ticketing - check. Reserved seating - check. Lots of parking - check. Automated kiosk ticket pickup - check. Bar & Cocktail Lounge - check. Food - check. Pizza - check. Snack bar - check. Café seating in the lobby - check. Lounge seating in the auditorium - check. In fact, the loungers are red leather, electrically operated recliners. They are built together in pairs and the center arm rest swings up to make a loveseat so you can make out with your date, too. There's a full seven feet of width in the aisle so if you must leave in the middle of the film, you're not inconveniencing anyone like you must at a ball game. AND, there's cup holders! Movies too expensive on your budget? All films are five bucks on Tuesdays, so gopher it. On Fridays, there's a $6 ticket for us old farts but we have to go before they put us to bed in the home at 5:30 PM. They even have a popcorn deal for frequent viewers. Buy a bucket for twenty five bucks and take it with you whenever you go to the movies. Refills are four bucks for the entire year. (Being early January 2019 as I write this, it's an even better deal...if you happen to love popcorn. I don't, so I'm not buying a bucket.) Like everyone else these days, Marcus has a loyalty program. Check it out on the their website to see if it's a fit for you. Order your tickets online at marcustheatres.com or use their app. (I'm a member of fandango.com so I can buy tickets for movies almost anywhere I go.) This theater is an outrage! My sister and I wanted to see Inside Out 2 at 8:15 with preordered tickets bought online. Upon arrival we were greeted by a man with a "badge" who told my sister she needed to be 18+ or accompanied by a person over 25 years old. This policy is ridiculous and should be abolished. I am 19 years old and still was not old enough to accompany my 17 year old sister to the movies. Very disappointed and will not be visiting this establishment again. read more

I love Marcus theaters honestly. I've never had a bad experience. Sometimes the movies are too loud for me? But I think that just might be s personal issue, since no one else seems bothered by it. My experience here was not unlike the other Marcus theaters that I've been to. Dr. Pepper was out on one side, but I was able to go to the other side to get some. So, that was fine. Clean. Comfortable. I like that I'm allowed to bring in my own blanket with no issues. read more

The seats are nice. I went to take a lid for my soda and the whole thing was covered with sticky soda my hand actually stuck to the dispenser it was like that on all sizes on both towers of dispensing lids. you could actually see the mold. The popcorn was old and somewhat burnt. And lastly we went to see white Christmas in the final 10 minutes of the show during the singing of the song White Christmas the lights came on in their entirety 100%. I enjoy the comfortable seating and how I'm able to pick my location in the theater. Every time I've visited this location I was able to get my items quickly at the concession with plenty of time to get to my seat in time for upcoming movie previews. I do think the concession stand by the beverages could be cleaned more often, that area gets messy more than any other part with guests filling their own beverages the area is wet. If you're on a budget Tuesday's have $5 movies, that's an added bonus to your pocket. read more

My favorite movie theater. We went there to watch "Alita Battle Angel" with my fiancé. The staff there are nice as always. I love that the bar was open in the morning. I got an Alita margarita drink for the show. The bartender there was amazing. His name is Dimitri and he listens to me every time I go there. He makes the best drinks ever. Thank you for spoiling me a little. I do not like to drink cold drinks especially with ice. I want less ice and he still made my drinks full to the top. He was not being greedy with the ingredients like most places. I like that they keep this theater clean. After the movies there was four guys came in to clean up. Thank you for working hard to make this place enjoyable. Please know we appreciate all staff there. read more

The Marcus theater franchise is, in my opinion, the undisputed champ of movie houses in the Milwaukee area. We frequent both the Marcus Monomonee Falls and the Marcus Majestic Cinema. We have never had a bad moment. The picture quality and the audio is always the best there is. This location is a bit more relaxed, kicked-back as it is smaller and maybe less frequented.... only guessing there, but we've never had to worry about a crowd here, even when seeing a very popular flick. This Marcus theater is a great movie house and a place that you know you can depend on for having a good choice of seats, a clean theater, good picture quality and a well trained staff at both the ticket and snack counters. read more

I like that I don't experience the same hustle and bustle of the other Marcus Theaters at this Menomonee Falls location. I feel the other Marcus Theaters are way more crazy and stressful, perhaps due to the relatively recently remolding jobs on them. This location is easy to get to. It shows all the same movies as the Majestic or North Shore, but you don't have to go through that pesky seat selection (IHATE that!!). The parking lot is also less chaotic than other locations. Dare I say I think they could use an update in the near future to keep up with the other chain movie theaters in the Milwaukee area... but I definitely don't want them have preferred/VIP seating for every movie (like North Shore) OR raise ticket prices. It's expensive enough to see a movie these days and concessions at any theater or event are always overpriced :( Movie theater popcorn is SOOOO good though! read more

This is a multiplex theater with a bar and food (other than candy and popcorn) available. I'm probably in the old-school minority, but I really don't want to have to choose my seat before I walk into the theater. I need to see the seat and see the view of the screen before I would happily pick. We did pick seats at the box office stand, and the seats were comfortable, there was a good view, and the theater was small. We paid about $9.50 per person for a matinee show. However, I went into one bathroom stall before the movie that was dirty. OK, I get it, people make a mess. I went into the next stall and there was just four or five squares of toilet paper left on one roll, and none on the other roll. Sorry, whoever may be in the stall next to me...I can't spare a square. Then I went out to wash my hands and the front and center soap dispenser was empty. Yes, there was another one off to the side that had soap, but come on, it's a matinee on Black Friday. I expected better. read more

January 15, 2020 at 11:03am I arrived at Marcus Theaters Menomonee Falls location and informed the cashier that I wanted to purchase one ticket for "Just Mercy". After selecting my seat on the screen payment was due. I pulled my card from my wallet and the attendant stated that their system was down and that they were not accepting credit cards. I informed her that I didn't have cash and she pointed me in the direction of the ATM in the hallway. I asked her was management aware of this issue and she stated that it's not a theater issue is was a system issue. I used the ATM and it charged me $3 for the cash disbursement. So it seems the $10 movie cost me $13. Needless to say I was a bit frustrated. However the movie "Just Mercy" was interesting. People should see it. Just not here until they correct the credit card issue. Everyone doesn't carry cash! read more

I've been coming to this theater for 25+ years and never have I had to walk out during a movie until tonight. My wife and I sat down to watch a movie tonight for our anniversary (a night to ourselves with no children finally) and as soon as the movie started, about 10-15 teenage kids come in and are immediately obnoxious, loud, disrespectful to the other patrons, and so loud we couldn't even hear what the actors in the movie were saying. At no point did we see an usher come in at all, and I'm almost certain 99% of the teens did not have tickets. They don't even scan our verify your movie tickets at the front desk. I'm sure only one of them purchased a ticket and screen shotted it and sent it to all of the others. All that you have to do is flash the "ticket checker" your phone with a barcode and auditorium #, and voila! You're in a free movie. I couldn't even enjoy or hear the movie with these disruptive and disrespectful children at this movie. When we got up and left in the middle of the movie and walked to the front desk, I was confronted by one of the two deputy sheriffs tasked with supervising this theater with a rude comment, "what do you want. Are you trying to leave?" The only positive outcome of the night was how professional and respectful the manager was when I spoke with him. Moving forward: A suggestion to you, Marcus Menomonee Falls Cinema.. ACTUALLY CHECK YOUR CUSTOMER'S TICKETS! It's also common sense that you should probably send an usher in a few times in movies that have large groups of disruptive teenagers. It literally takes 30 seconds to send an employee in to monitor these things. And if you're concerned for your usher's well being or safety, maybe use the two useless deputy sheriffs (who literally stand at the front and do nothing) to walk in and assist your usher in removing the disruptive thieves who are screenshotting one ticket and sending it to their friends. So, normally I'm ok with this theatre. It's been no better and no worse than the rest of the homogenized theatres Marcus runs in the area. But today that changed. They've installed fancy new leather recliners. Motorized recliners. You may be thinking, this woman's insane, what's not to love about nice, new, motorized squishy recliners? It's not the chairs, it's the new b.s. policy of picking your assigned seat. How do I know what's good when I'm standing in the lobby? So we pick our seats, get our crazy expensive popcorn and enter the theatre. D17/18. D row is the 3rd from the screen. We have a couple come in & exclaim we are in their seats, dammit. I show them our tickets, they look at theirs, they're in C, they move up a row & kick those people out of those seats. The movie starts, 15 minutes of previews & here come the late comers. Now it's 15 minutes of people kicking people out of their seats, shuffling around and standing in the aisle talking loudly, pulling out their cell phones to use the light to see the seat numbers on their tickets. The opening scene of this movie is quiet talking, of course. We mention this debacle to several employees on our way out, to which they all reply, well that's the way it is now, so you better get used to it. No I won't, I'll go see movies at AMC at Mayfair. Or better yet, The Oriental or Downer. While I appreciate the nice new seats, they're not worth the headache. And I sure didn't spend $40 on a matinee for 2 people (with soda & popcorn) to be barked at by snot-nose teenagers. Get your shit together people. read more

Went to meet a friend in the Falls to catch a movie. Hit the Marcus Cinema in Menomonee Falls. I had heard it was recently remodeled. I had nothing to compare it to but it was very nice and looked like the other Marcus Theaters I have been in. Staff was friendly. Theater itself was clean - nothing worse than a sticky floor, but it was all good. LOVE the seats! The seats kind of recline back a little and that was totally cool, not too many places have those anymore. Prices are the same as all other Marcus Theaters around town. I used to really like Marcus Menomonee Falls, but after 4-5 bad experiences in a row, I'm pretty much done with this theater. The employees and management are friendly and helpful. Prices are high, but that's how movie theaters are. Popcorn is very good. There are no very close parking spots, except a handful of handicapped ones. In the winter it's always a fast slide-hustle from or to the cold car. None of that's a problem, though. The problem is the clientele. I used to always enjoy going here, with my whole family or with my husband. In the past, people that were chatty before the movie piped down when the lights dimmed. Not anymore. EVERY time I've gone here in the last 1-1.5 years the crowds have been rowdy and/or loud. It hasn't mattered what the rating or movie type; people just won't shut the hell up. I don't mind whispering; but I DO mind people talking in regular voice levels continually through a movie I just spent $30-60 to see. No one is paying to hear some idiot's voice do a play by play of the movie script. I've politely asked a few of these nearby idiots to keep it down. No one does. As ticket prices have skyrocketed in recent years (don't get me started on the 3D fees or VIP seating) it's been more difficult to justify going to a Marcus simply to see a movie "on the big screen." Add to that rude, selfish people talking (and let's not forget those videotaping; there were 2 doing that in a movie I saw a couple months ago), it's just not worth it. read more

The place has upgraded since last my partner and I were there (last Christmas time). Now we found a lounge/bar to the left side as we enter which looks like a nice addition. As well, we found a Zaffiro's pizza placed in the back left of the lobby for more than popcorn. The theater is always clean, especially important is the bathrooms. The seating is leather recliner seating, and the sound was perfect. Perhaps the best part is that they have specials running. I was told Tuesdays are $5.00 movie night. We watched 3-D and it was $6.00, very reasonable. read more

The staff members are nice - polite, engaging you in small talk, etc. Movies are the typical Marcus selections - the most current ones, of course. Three stars because their concession prices are WAY too high. I paid $4.75 for a small package of Sour Patch Kids. For a Vitamin Water, Sour Patch Kids and Junior MInts, I paid $12.00!! Had I known how much they were, I definitely would not have purchased them. Unfortunately the prices weren't posted. I know prices are higher at movie theaters, but holy smokes - for a small bag, that's just too much. I guess it's back to smuggling the Twizzlers in! Also, the bathrooms were dire need of cleaning. I realize it was an opening weekend for a major movie (The Avengers) but seriously, I could smell the restrooms from our walk down the hall to see another movie. This is one of our go-to Theatre because it's close to our apartment. The facility is clean with good service. Last night, there was a long line to watch Kingsman (totally worth watching!). I'm glad they have those quick electronic ticket booths in the front so we don't have to wait. The concession stand is typical. My husband likes that they they serve kettle and caramel corn. I wouldn't say they have the best food, but it's decent. We love the comfy leather recliners. There is more leg and arm space. It's definitely a relaxing atmosphere to watch a great movie. read more
