But it does have a good selection and it does have some interesting options you won't find most anywhere else. They have a large selection of items branded specifically for them that I have come to really enjoy. Best of all, the prices are really good. I really think they fit a specialty niche quite well and going every once in a while can be quiet rewarding.

According to their website, a free sweet treat qualifies as any of their dipped fruits, but the front staff politely offered only the chocolate dipped banana or granny smith apple. I came for their strawberries, so when I asked why not the strawberries per their email policy, they cited it's due to "store discretion" which I later clarified with her was just "her choice" as she confirmed that it was due to Mother's day demand. Keep in mind, this was the Thursday before Mother's day at 2pm and they had about 20 chocolate dipped strawberries displayed (not counting how many in the back). Birthday and policy aside, she mentioned that she did not recognize my name and that I must not be a returning customer - so I suggest that you be a frequent returning customer to receive good customer service or service that matches their company policies. In the future, depending on who you are or what holidays are near lol, if you want to redeem their rewards, I recommend doing it online or redeeming in-store at another location. This could be a one-off experience and I understand this was a complimentary birthday treat that they offer, so take it with a grain of salt! Two stars are for the chocolate dipped granny smith apple, which was a good mix of sweet and sour, per what the staff recommended. Parking lot available.

That was exactly my plan. I needed small household things and did not want to overspend. Store Layout: The layout of the store is your expected Dollar Tree. During my last visit I noticed that the store is considerably cleaner and with minor updates (like coolers). It is most certainly a better shopping experience than it has been over the years. It's now one of the more tidy Dollar General stores on the East Side. Inventory: The inventory is pretty extensive, and no boxes on the sales floor. Lots of cute fall finds! Ample over $1 inventory. They were low on a few things during my visit - metal forks and books. I was very happy to find some plus size leggings for $5. I am becoming addicted to these leggings. They are comfy, wash well, and not bad quality for such a deal! Service: Service is very awkward and transactional. The checkout process seemed to move fairly quickly which was a plus on a football Sunday. Parking: Ample plaza parking is available. There is usually active construction in this area which seems to last an eternity. Plan for a bit of extra time to navigate the area.
