We changed the battery and got stalled again!! AAA said it was the alternator and I took it to another mechanic that confirmed the alternator was bad!! So either this place is a scam or they know nothing about fixing cars. I don't know what is worse. I ended changing it somewhere else and paid much less for the best alternator in the market. I didn't take it back because I don't trust them touching my car.

It feels good and relaxing to pump here. Today the cheapest regular was $5.00 a gallon. Was speaking to a woman who used to come here and now pumps her new BMW at Costco. She says it's about 40 to 50 cents less at Costco and her dad told her Costco is okay for gas. Maybe I will switch to Costco? That sounds like big savings. Is Costco safe gasoline?

The keypad on the system was the new kind with actual buttons n the key pad and not the touch pad style like every other gas station everywhere. When I asked the employee behind the counter if they had a restroom, instead of saying "yes, it's right over here"...he said already annoyed "follow the sign". I had never been to this location before and was a little stunned by the rude response, so just looked at him and said "what sign?" He didn't show me the sign but instead started raising his voice telling to follow the sign or get out. I asked if he was OK and he proceeded to raise his voice and tell me to get out or follow the sign. I tried to calmly explain that I've never been here before and that I was coming from the hospital next-door, but he just cut me off. Told me "everyone has a story "and again told me to follow the sign or get out. Not sure what was going on with him, but regardless, this is unacceptable behavior when dealing with customers.

I travel to the wide world of whack jobs pretty often (Los Angeles), and it never ceases to amaze…read moreme that when I return home, my gas light dings within about 3 miles of this particular Shell. Why? Who knows... but I love it. The sheer convenience of this Shell station is worth 5 stars. It's RIGHT off of the 5 freeway at Avery Parkway, and you rarely have to wait for a gas portal to open up. Is that what they call 'em? I don't know, but because there is a Mobil station right across the way, there's always plenty of space for cars of all shapes and sizes to fill up before hitting that long stretch of nothingness through Camp Pendleton. Additionally, the station itself is really clean, and I can actually trust the food and hot beverages at this location... unlike most other gas stations where you question the last time that slimy pot of coffee was brewed. If you're driving home through Orange County, or driving north for that matter, it's worth stopping by... especially if you're in a hurry. It's as easy as a $2 hooker with dentures and a sugar craving... whatever that means.

I made an appointment at opening time. I was number 2 and was told that it's about an 1 hour to an 1 hour and a half. 2 hours has passed. I was sitting outside and the front desk staff noticed me. She asked about my car and the color. Then tells me that my car needs a pin to drive so I gave it to her. 30 mins later one of the mechanics asked me about a Tesla and confused it with my own. (I know every Tesla looks the same but I didn't go to the Irvine location because that would be a nightmare lol) I told him I already told the staff the pin and color. He then proceeds to say "You are the reason we can't work on the car, you didn't give the pin." Very inappropriate and not professional at all. This place replaces Tesla tires all the time and I have you my number. Maybe call me instead of just skipping my car multiple times. Yes I forgot to give the pin but it's an everyday thing that I do that makes it easy to forget. But rude butthole blames the consumer and tells you it's your fault. It doesn't take higher brain function to call me. Here they are disorganized robots here to replace tires and that's all. If that's what you want, go ahead. Let me tell you what you need to do. Go to a different tire shop that can do a wheel alignment. There you can get the tires and wheels aligned done at one location. Yes you save money going to Costco but it actually isn't much especially if you need to get your tires aligned.
