August 6,2026. Service was prompt and efficient. I ordered Greek salad. Delicious, even though I…read morefound the dressing to be a little on the sweet side. I ordered Chicken Cremora for my entree. Chicken with mushrooms, spinach and garlic in a light cream brandy sauce. Portions were huge, prices fair. 10 out of 10 recommend!

Why come here? The complimentary garlic rolls. Oh my goodness. Just plan to take most of your meal…read moreto go because you'll want to eat these all night long. Next time we are getting pizza because it looked and smelled so good! The service is great, very fast and polite. Food is very good. Lots of flavor but not too salty. Really enjoyed the salmon piccata special. The buttered noodles that come in the side of meals are good but I do prefer my pasta dishes all sauced up. The limoncello cake was excellent, not too sweet, actually went well with our wine. Now, the ambience is....not ideal. Someone else mentioned it is dated- it's not dingy or anything, it's just dark and has carpet. A lot to be desired as far as decor and curb appeal (typical of WF). Also... I am so over seeing televisions in restaurants. This is not a bar, can we just eat without screens please. Something about the acoustics here is very off because it seems SO loud. One loudish person fills the whole room with noise. And the phone ringing is shrill and super annoying. *Basically don't get a babysitter and come here on a date, like we did.* Everyone had tons of kids. The place was filled with loud families, like every table had 6 kids, it was an unusual amount of children. The wait staff brings their kids to work, like another review mentions. This didn't bother me, just makes it a better spot for bringing your family rather than having a relaxing night out for 2. And they close at 8 on weekends. Promptly. Like, the garbage is taken out and the toilet is scrubbed by 7:57.

I am absolutely giving this JC 5 stars. They earned every bit of it. We threw my 90 year old mother…read morein law's birthday party there and they couldn't have been more accommodating with our large party. We had almost 30 people and they assigned one waiter to us. He was so amazing and took care of everybody from start to finish. Everybody raved about the food. I personally ordered the spaghetti and meatballs, and it was so delicious. The next time I go back to Texas, we cannot wait to go back to Johnny Carino's again. Last but not least, they gave us a fun and clean atmosphere. A couple days before the party, I spoke with Kristina the manager there, and she was so kind. If you're thinking about a good and decent Italian night look no further than Johnny Carino's in Wichita Texas.

We visited for the first time today with a party of four. Our group ordered the Chicken Parmesan…read morewith spaghetti family platter, along with the free promotional entrée that included lasagna and ribeye served over fettuccine Alfredo. Starting with the service, our first impression of the waitress wasn't the most welcoming. She initially came across as somewhat unfriendly. That said, I do want to give credit where it's due--she checked on our table several times throughout the meal, which we appreciated. When we asked questions about how the steak was prepared, however, we were simply told it is cooked one specific way, without much additional explanation. One aspect of the promotion that stood out was the strong emphasis that the free entrée could not be shared. This seemed like an unusual policy. If the goal of a promotion is to introduce guests to other menu items, allowing people at the table to sample the dish would seem beneficial. Sharing might even encourage someone to discover they like that item more than what they originally ordered and return specifically for it in the future. Unfortunately, the promotional entrée itself did not meet expectations. The lasagna had a noticeably sweet sauce. While that may appeal to some diners, it wasn't to my taste--especially with the addition of Italian sausage, which made the flavor combination feel a bit off. The fettuccine Alfredo was particularly disappointing. The sauce was watery and lacked the rich, creamy texture and flavor typically expected from Alfredo sauce. This made the dish feel somewhat unfinished and underwhelming. The ribeye steak served on top of the fettuccine also did not match the advertisement. The promotion suggested a small steak sliced and served over the pasta. What arrived instead looked more like thin strips of steak, similar to fajita-style meat, and it appeared dry and not very appetizing. Better alignment between the advertisement and what is actually served would help set more accurate expectations for customers. Another issue that shouldn't be overlooked was the coffee, which arrived only lukewarm. Coffee is one of the simplest items to get right in a restaurant, and serving it at the proper temperature makes a noticeable difference. Receiving lukewarm coffee was disappointing and detracted from the overall experience. Overall, while the server's frequent table check-ins were appreciated, several aspects of the meal--particularly the promotional entrée--fell short of expectations. Improvements in flavor, presentation, and consistency with how menu items are advertised would go a long way toward enhancing the dining experience. With attention to these details, the restaurant has the potential to provide a much stronger experience for future guests.
