I started a new position a few weeks ago and the manager found out I love pizza. What a nice surprise to have multiple pizza flavors for everyone to enjoy my first day to give me a warm welcome .... and it was from Marco's!! I love thin and crispy... it was great. My favorite was the bacon.... of course a true Memphis girl needs her pork .... I say bacon on everything.... but all the flavors were great! We stopped on the way home. Sam (sachin) was really great! We ordered 2 pizzas, both of which were good. The deluxe pizza was great! (Customer service at Marco's is 100% better than the local pizza hut.) 5 stars for how well I was treated there. I wasn't feeing so great when I walked in, and Sam noticed right away, asking if I would want to sit down. Most of the time,the person at the register doesn't even look at you, let alone thank you. PLEASE BEWARE. My family and 3 small children ate almost the ENTIRE pizza for me to bite into a huge piece of plastic???! If this was my first visit, it definitely would be my last! They had a special of half off your pizza for the lunar eclipse, wow, finally a place I love having a special. When I picked up the very light pizza box, I should have been Leary. I was in a hurry & did not check the pizza till I got home. What a poor excuse for what has been a great pizza. I got the specialty pepperoni & cheese. Totally a crap pizza. Minimal sauce, adequate pepperoni & hardly any cheese. Who said sale? It was a shit show & a pizza I would prefer not to eat. Their sauce is usually great & there was so little, you could not rate or taste it. The pepperoni was there, but the cheese was minimal at best. It is supposed to be double pepperoni & cheese. I hate pizzas that skimp on sauce & cheese! This was not even worth the half off price!. I doubt I will return to this franchise, if this is how they treat their regular customers. So disappointed . The food tasted pretty good yet you pay to have certain items added and get scammed, I asked for triple pepperoni but apparently that's too much to ask. 2-3 pieces on one slice is NOT triple if you can't or won't cover it in it why offer it? Pizza wasn't that great. It was okay. Place looked alright as well. Not really much to say about the establishment itself. I actually had to order twice from these guys, because the first time I placed an order with them, my order got rerouted to a location in town & country due to the weird zoning/zipcode of the area. I can't exactly recall the reasoning on that, but I hope it's something that can just be blamed on the app. After making sure the right location had my order the next time, I got the pizza in a quick manner. Former employee: READ THIS IF CONSIDERING EMPLOYMENT; They steal from their employees, but only the ones hired without nepotism, those ones get special treatment. They don't have to stay late for clean certain things, the get ahead of the line for good tipping delivery order or skipped to avoid the lower one so the others can take them. The manager and owner actively take deliveries instead of letting the drivers, they make a salary and they still want your tips. They will schedule you less, unless you kiss their ass. And now, they can just send a delivery order to DoorDash so drivers are being outsourced. I've only worked there about a year, never called off or took a day off I wasn't scheduled, outside of a medical emergency (I cut my hand open and got 13 stitches, took 2-3 weeks off) I've come in on my days off, and I've never said no to being told to do something. I've done all that and I don't gossip or talk behind their back, I've been that annoying employee in the past and I had to learn by being fired and losing friends that, that's not what I want in life or who I want to be. I took this job with the mindset that I need to be more of an adult, I can't fight with my bosses anymore, I can't get upset just because I feel disrespected, it's a job do it and go home and have fun. And I've done that to a T but all your dedication will be forgotten if you make a single error. I deliberately added personal detail to make it obviously me because I want them to know who is outting them. So don't think I'm hiding just because I have a spam account, they're not that special. So I'm traveling on Super Bowl Sunday and tired but, hungry. Decided to order a pizza at Marcos Pizza and was pleasantly surprised how good the pizza was. For a chain pizzeria I definitely prefer theirs over Dominos and Pizza Hut as the ingredients tasted better and the crust was pretty good. For the wings, they were okay and tasted pretty much the same as you would get at another pizza chain. Definitely give their pizza try if one is available to you. read more

I am extremely disappointed in Marco's. A few months ago I had a family gathering and ordered a large order. My pizza order was completely wrong. They actually sent the wrong pizza out. I called and spoke with Manager (Sonny) who was very nice who offered a replacement or $15.00 credit. I was happy to have a credit. Just about a week and a half ago I placed another large order. I asked for my $15.00 credit. I was told there was no such credit or even evidence of any orders in their system. Since I had a household of people I had to place the order. The pizza was awful. The kids would not eat the cheese. They only ate the pepperoni, which was good. The sausages and onion and mushroom was not even cooked all through and I threw it out. So, I ended up throwing in singer frozen pizza's. They were better than Marco's. Why bother calling, they do not hold up to their promises. They will never receive another order from me. My kids are the ones who had me order from then, they liked them. Now, none of us will order again. Back to Chicago Paul's Pizza or Rosati's. Now, there is excellence! I just wanted a close neighborhood alternate. Wow, what is a mistake. So update. I get a call from local branch, Ishita. She pulls up my information and stares the best she can offer me is to "take care of me the next order". I said no thank you. I know what happens with your false promises. I am not going down that road. I told her to make good on the $25.00 credit I was supposed to have and I would forget the second bad order and give them a try in the future. Well she told me she could not and would have to get back to me after speaking with Sonny. After all this. They can keep their $15.00. I will never eat there or order from them. If I could give no stars I would. This place is awful and has zero customer service. When our pizza was late, we checked the app which said it had been delivered 20 min prior. We had no pizza at our door. When we called the store, a very rude woman who claimed to be a manager, called us a liar because the driver said he delivered it. She hung up on us, so we went up to the store. She was chicken and hid from us and sent the assistant manager to talk to us. He said he would give us a refund. Days later, still no refund was processed. He would not even give us a free pizza or a discounted pizza for THEIR screw up. We asked for the owners name and number. Called several times and left several messages with no call back. Finally got ahold of the person they claimed to be an owner and he's nothing more than a manager as well, who could barely speak English, kept interrupting me, and called us a liar as well. Said it was delivered to the address on file. If we had our pizza, we wouldn't be calling, going up there or ordering a new pizza from a different establishment. This pizza place has zero regards for customer service and a horrible attitude. We STILL haven't gotten a refund for the pizza we never received. I also contacted corporate days ago both email and phone and still zero return call or email. Save yourself a headache and avoid this place at all costs. read more

Disgusting, ordered two pizzas. One of them was a thin crust which came extremely burnt. To be fair I did ask for well done however this was over done. The pizza was so burnt it literally tasted as if I was eating dry cheese and extra dry crackers. When I called to see if it could possibly be switched out for a better tasting pizza the manager said no. You would think especially during covid-19 when money is so scarce that they would have some kind of conscious to think maybe these people don't have money to waste. I've been to this location and while the stuff they use isn't as good quality as some local independent pizzerias, the service was really good and everyone there was friendly. I had originally given a great review of the great customer service I received at the beginning, but now...customer service is at the bottom of their list, while ruining their customer relationships seems to be their priority...The smartass girl (who answers the phone), that must be Sonny's daughter is given special privileges to treat customer's like crap. If they make your order wrong, you are not allowed to complain, especially to her. She's made my order wrong on purpose just so that I would either call and complain, so that they could ban me from ordering there (and claim the problem was with me and not the pizza) or I just have to put up with it and not complain if I ever want to order from there again. This is the third and final time I order from their. I got slimy onion skins on my Greek salad instead of actual fresh onions. The tomatoes were so mushy and rotten you couldn't even pick them off the salad. The lettuce was the outside of the head of the iceberg lettuce. The wings were 100% fat and 0% meat. Not sanotary they use alot of the salad ingredients from the pizza line which is touched without gloves.management is horrible. No refunds just empty credits. I feel bad for staff that gets yelled at infront of custoners for things they didnt do especially when ive come in and seen it first hand . soda is always out. Never stocked. Floors r filthy. Dough is not fresh at all. Its mostly almost frozen then quickly defrosted. Cross contamination. 100% food safety precautions are not takrn what so ever. ZERO stars This location has messed up multiple orders. Each time fail to rectify the situation. The customer service is non existent. Staff is rude and blames mistakes on customer. Ordered buffalo wing and when I arrived home they had no buffalo sauce on them. Called the store with the issue. The lady very unprofessional, who referred to herself as the manager, informed me that it was my fault for not opening the wings to make sure they were correct before leaving the store. I requested to speak to the manager who was there at time of pick up not 10 minutes earlier and she said he was no longer there. She said I can drive back and pick up a side of buffalo sauce. I requested a refund on just the item that was incorrect but they said once I left the store with the food it was my mistake for not checking it and refused to issue a refund for the incorrect wings. Manager/ owner will dodge calls and never speak to you about the issues. Do yourself a favor and save your money, time and frustration, choose a diffent pizza place. read more
