My wife and I were in Cabot running errands today and decided to get a late lunch at Deer Creek…read more We've been here before and always have had a good experience and today was good too. We were cordially greeted as we entered and seated immediately. The lunch rush was over, so the restaurant wasn't busy but other times, they can be very busy. The restaurant is decorated nicely in a rustic sports bar theme with TVs playing various sports events, though the TVs were stuck on buffering today for some reason. Emily W. was our server, and she was very friendly and attentive and took care of all our dining needs. My wife had the Blackened Mahi Mahi with steamed broccoli, fried okra and garlic bread. She received a good portion of fish that was cooked and seasoned perfectly. The broccoli was fresh and delicious and had a garlic butter sauce, and the fried okra was super good with a crispy crust and seasoned well. I ordered the lunch Smash Burger with fries. This was a very well prepared smash burger, pressed thin with a good crust developed. It comes on a toasted bun with pickles, sautéed onions, American cheese and their special smash sauce. I ordered the candied jalapeños as well for an upcharge of $1. The jalapeños made the burger amazing! The fries appeared handcut and prepared well with good seasoning. They also have a good selection of beer and other alcoholic beverages, but a beer is a must with a smash burger. I had an excellent dark ale on draft with my burger. Overall, another excellent experience.

I like getting the thin crust extra hamburger pizza and my fiancé' loves the hand tossed with pepperoni and Italian sausage. I make my favorite bowl with pasta, Alfredo sauce, cheddar cheese and ham. If you use the app, you build points for free pizzas and you have access to special deals. It is just important to try to never use delivery. They charge like a $3.99 delivery fee and then also expect you to tip the driver. It is really a rip off. My mom lives out of town and I have to have hers delivered and by the time I order her several items, it is always over $40.00. Picking up your order saves so much money and you can take advantage of their great deals making it so reasonable. The only problem I have had here in Heber Springs is that sometimes my thin crust pizza is over cooked and the crust can be hard and even a little black in areas, so they need to pay more attention to this. I also would like a little more sauce on mine, but overall I am pleased.

This restaurant is a conundrum. The food is very good but the problem is getting it. We have…read morevisited the restaurant three times now. The first time we were told they were closing because they ran out of food. This was at 4pm on July 3rd. The hostess said they had a catering order that got it all. The second time they were just closed. The third try (again at around 430 pm) we got seated and served. When our food arrived I asked for my order of meatballs and the waitress said "Oh sorry we ran out of meatballs ". So how the heck does an Italian restaurant run out of meatballs? About 5 minutes into our meal I hear the hostess telling a customer who just walked in, "Sorry we are closing right now, we ran out of food". Same story we heard a few weeks ago. When we checked out and paid I see a waitress loading up her car with the "catered food " including a huge tray of meatballs! The restaurant is kind of dumpy but clean. The parking sucks, but if you can get food it is really pretty good.
