I called at 8:25 , he said they were waiting for a driver, even though my food has been baked over an hour ago. While on the phone, he then says a driver has appeared. Wow, I've been ordering pizza from this location (9500 Dorchester Rd) for years and just had the lousiest pizza ever. It's Dec 14th 2025 at 6:30 PM. It was SUPPOSED to be XLarge Deluxe with extra cheese, ham red onions, mushrooms and banana peppers. I should have noticed how light the pizza box was as I left the store. When I got to the house and opened the box I was not happy. No Ham, no mushrooms, not even enough cheese to cover the pizza. What was on the pizza was so sparse it looked like I got ingredients for a medium on a large crust. There wasn't enough to even cover the crust, with several slices only half covered with stuff. Whoever made that pizza either can't read or just doesn't care about what they're doing. It just wasn't that busy to screw up an order that bad. I think I'll take my business elsewhere for a few months and wait for their prep team to be fired and replaced. read more

I just ordered a large Pizza for $25, which, at this point it's somewhat reasonable. Whenever it did get here, the driver refused to get out of the car and made my wife standing. The rain in the driveway, getting soaking wet until we finally realized that he was refusing to get out of his truck, who wasn't even parked in the driveway. He was actually parked on the side of the road. So then she had to walk down the street to his window for then him to crack the window and hand her a Pizza that then at this point has gotten rained on. By the time she's gotten in the house on top of that, the Pizza was frozen, whenever I did. Call the Pizza place and ask to speak to a manager. Because the woman on the phone said she could not understand anything. I was saying so, at that point I asked, could I speak to a manager. She left and at 16-year-old girl voice and said, oh you get, that's me, Vanessa, at that point. I just asked the store location number was and I would be contacting corporate. This is terrible service and the fact that the manager who's even getting paid to act like a child on the phone is completely ridiculous to me. We'll definitely be calling an actual adult on vanessa tomorrow. read more

What is wrong with fast, cheap, convenient pizza? Nada in my book. Now, now, local pizza aficionados - don't hate the playa, hate the game. The game that is $9 bucks for a fill-yer-gut cheese pie that is decent enough to order in a pinch. I can't help that they price well for what it is, considering that all pizza is really is some flour, water, cheese and sauce. Make it at home for $5 or have someone else do it tasting "reasonably" good for a few bucks more. Extra points for the showcase/ID the body portion of purchase...as in, when you go in to pick it up, the staff member will proudly lift up the box top to display your choice of pie and ask if it is alright and indeed your pizza. read more

Your pizza really sucked tonight. My breadsticks were burnt and my pizza was cold and not even properly cut all the way through. Had to recut the whole pizza myself. The only thing that was hot was the dipping sauce for the breadsticks. Don't tell people 20 minutes to an hour and then be delivered almost an hour and 45 minutes later. if you have an allergy, they do not want your business. we have been ordering from here since moving in 5 years ago. I have a corn allergy, and they have always accommodated. tonight, we were told they could not accommodate by using flour on the bottom of the pizza. We were told I should not eat here as there is corn meal everywhere in the restaurant, even in the cheese. I wasn't going to try this place out. Honestly. I always got what I liked - Dominos or Papa Johns. I happened to win a free large pizza with two toppings from Marcos on Dorchester at a work event. And I'd say the rest is history! I have so many of my friends hooked now...it's crazy! With my free pizza voucher, My sister, niece and I all decided on green peppers and tomatoes. Weird combo, I know. But I'm not much of a meat-on-my-pizza kinda gal and my niece is picky. At the restaurant, the people behind the counter were super friendly! I was very impressed with how kind and friendly they all were. They must treat their employees really good. Anyways, after getting the pizza, we took it home. It was a STRUGGLE not digging into the pizza on the road. It smelled so good! We all dug in and I was kinda upset when it was gone. The pizza itself was delicious! Yelpers!! You have failed thee! This pizza is SOOOO GROSS. I Ordered a basic half cheese half sausage "thin crispy crust". First, I look and wonder if their regular crust is deep dish or something. This thin/crispy is like an inch thick of crust. (Refer to photo) At first bite it's basic and familiar, it's your run of the mill chain pizza - think dominoes or Pizza Hut. Then as it was cooling off, i flashed back to my school days. This was the pizza they served me in school lunch!!!! The kind with solidified cheese and ketchupy sauce. ahhh, memories I'm not so fond of.... Second option was the cheesy bread we ordered. This is just like the pizza without sauce and less cheese. The pepperoni pizza was very good, best I have had delivered in Summerville. Ordered it well done, one was a bit more well done but still good. Sauce is leaning towards the sweet side but not distracting. Crust was cooked through (big pet peeve). 14 to 17 per pie, not bad. Definately recommend a try. Delicious cold too. Good, quick, and conveniently located pizza! We usually order from Papa Johns but decided to try Marcos out for Mar10 (mario) day! Great prices, and I don't know if it's a good thing for other people, but they made it in a jiffy! Had us double check to make sure the pizza looked good and the order was correct. The cashier lady was very nice and sweet so it was a great pick up experience too. We carried out and didn't even get to eat it fresh and hot out of the oven as we settled for our pizza, beer and game day. I've worked at 4 different stores. And have ordered from them probably 20 or 30 times. Always good , never any problems. But lately, this store off dorchester sucked ass. Tried to order a delivery tonight (3hours before close) and they aren't doing deliveries because,"there is no driver" how the hell do you guys not have a driver at a pizza place ? But what really made me write this review was based on the fuck up regarding my last order. I paid for a 12 inch Italiano at about 9pm over the phone, asked for it to be deferred until 1030 or so, instructed them to deliver it to my work and CALL me when arriving. My food was delivered to my family members residence before 10pm apparently. I finally decided to try this place after hearing such great reviews of their pizza. I called ahead for a to go pick up order on a Tuesday night at 8 pm. I was about 20 min out so I told the girl if they could have it ready in 20 minutes instead of their usual 10 min that would be great. I ordered a large white cheesy and a small peperoni pizza. When we arrived they were ready for pick-up and then my husband mentioned something about the crust toppings. Totally forgot about those when I called it in. The girl was happy to put whichever crust topping on our pizza for us so we opted for the garlic butter on both. The white cheesy was a great pizza that I thought had just enough of everything on it. Not too much cheese to make it oily. And the bacon was delicious because each piece was small enough to get crispy in the oven and not chewy like some places. I especially loved the crust topping, so much so that I actually ate the entire crust. Marco's is ok. I usually only order there when I have a good coupon to use because it's very pricey. I do like the white pizza and this is usually all I get when I go there. The cheesy bread is good too. We had just a regular cheese pizza from here and it tasted just like little Caesar's pizza. I'm always excited to try a new pizza place. Not so much so when they don't have a craft beer menu. Or any beer menu whatsoever.. It's like missing out on half of the experience! I still like a good pizza either way though. What I had at Marco's was passable but not anything to write home about. I got the White Cheesy pizza and the meatball bake. The white pizzas are always a good go to option for me at pizza places. Marco's White Cheesy was the greasiest variation of the style I think I've ever had. The dough was pretty good, but not enough to make it an amazing experience. The meatball bake was lacking in presentation yet fairly tasty. It came to the table looking like something you'd shove in a microwave for five minutes. As far as taste? Well, it's hard to screw up a tray full of meat, cheese, and sauce. It's also a little overpriced. For a fairly small pizza, the meatball bake, and two fountain drinks it came to about $27. This is an okay place. Not one I'll return to very soon or often. There is a nice outdoor eating area but we ate indoors due to the rain. The white cheezy pizza had several types of cheese and toppings included feta, bacon, onion, tomato slices, and a white sauce. We are new to the area and thought we'd give it a try over Papa John's or other known chains. Glad we did, both times pizza were cooked perfectly and were fresh. I've never had a delivery person tell me to wait 5-10 minutes before eating it, so I don't burn myself. :) Their thin crust is really good. I would have given it 5 but the dessert pizza (cinnamon squares) was gross. It was dry and the icing had a horrible taste to it, nothing natural in there. Extremely impressed with this location. I ordered a small pizza and cheesy bread dine-in. My food came out pretty quick, I was impressed by the cleanliness of the restaurant (especially for a small pizza place) my food was perfect. The cheesy bread is my favorite cheesy bread from any place I've ever tried cheesy bread from. The staff is what truly put this visit over the top. They were extremely friendly (not fake friendly either) and accommodating. We order from this Marcos a lot. It is within walking distance of our apartment and the pizza is good. Tonight was the first night we have ever had something go wrong with our order. I placed the order through the app and my boyfriend stopped to pick it up on his way home from work. We ordered 1 pizza and some wings. He brought in 1 pizza and some wings. I open the pizza box and it is not the pizza I ordered. I double check my order confirmation to make sure and it indeed was not our pizza. I look at the receipt and my name is not at the bottom. I called Marcos and explain what happened. The gentleman I spoke with was very polite, double checked and saw that my order was still on the shelf and offered to have it delivered to our apartment at no extra cost or they could do a coupon for the cost of the pizza. We chose to have them go ahead and deliver our correct order. (The boyfriend is kind of particular about what he likes on his pizza). Our order was delivered to us in less than 15 minutes. I know times are tough out here right now. The world is insane, but small gestures like this make the world a much better place little by little. read more
