If you've never been to a Benny's before, get ready for huge slices of pizza. If you're looking for quantity you've definitely get it here and if you're looking for quality it's pretty high up there too. Pizza is so subjective and I have my personal favorite, but there's definitely a difference between getting a fancy wood fired pie next door and getting a slice that's bigger than your head at Benny's. I've had a couple experiences at this location with one being take out and the other being dine in. For take out, we had family in town which included some kids and we opted for a Benny's pizza double cut to feed the whole crowd. It fed everyone with leftovers for sure. I recently went in for a slice and stayed to eat it. At lunch time they only had one person working so he was a one man show. He took our order, rang us up and got our slices in the oven. I don't love that they pre-cook the pizza and then add the toppings afterwards, but I also understand there is much less waste because you don't have five different giant pies under a heat lamp. You can make it a meal by adding a bag of chips any drink from the fridge which has a lot of options. Last time I tried the special meatloaf pizza and it was pretty good, but I like the slices of meatball better than the crumbled meatloaf, just because it was messier this way. I can always enjoy a slice of cheese too, but sometimes the toppings speak to me and I have to try. They didn't have the back bar open so I couldn't really see what was going on, but it looks like a good time... hopefully they promote that part of the place more because you really have to know it's there. read more

First time and I loved it!! Staff is friendly and patient. My boo and I went with the pizza combo which includes slice, soft drink, dip, chips/ice cream/cookie option. I'm a simple cheese slice gal and this one had great cheese to sauce ratio plus the crust and base was baked perfectly. Added extra oregano and Parmesan to mine and dipped in a garlic sauce cup. And wow their fridge contains a multitude of drinks, like vintage pop, lemonades, seltzers, and your usual soft drinks so that was fun to pick out. For our other side we both got ice cream bars cookies n cream edition to which the ice cream was sandwiched between two cookies. Great spot to get a slice or take a pie to-go. read more

Park circle has a Benny's! I would be concerned that this would be tough for another pizza joint, but Bennys fills a special niche. Late night pizza is lacking in park circle and this was needed get some food in ya. Especially since there aren't any king st vendor carts. I approve of Park Circle getting more places open just a tad later. I'm no Night owl, but PC would close up at 10pm years ago. Bennys is the classic huge slice that is hot with a crisp bottom. Great drunk food, and good quick lunch. The staff was friendly and quick with my lunch order. They also have a back tap room that shows potential for last drink and late night slice. I have been to several Benny's and I have to say this has some of the worst pizza by far. Came in to grab a slice of sausage pizza. Employees had a cold cheese pizza missing a few slices sitting on the counter which they proceeded to place sausage slices onto from the fridge, threw it in the oven for 2 minutes and sent me on my way. Slice wasn't fully heated, sausage just sitting on top of dried out luke-warm cheese.
