I love this is awesome. It the best place to just grab a slice of pizza. These slices are huge. The bar near the back of the restaurant is a hidden gem. The bartenders are truly the type that remember you and make you feel welcome
This pizza is HUGE! The booth was amazing, it was like our own private room in the middle of a crowded restaurant. We went on the St Patrick's Day celebration, so it was a quick buy your pizza and bounce situation, which meant we had minimal opportunity to interact with the staff.
The "Virginia" slice was just okay. It's reheated pizza after all. It's quick and easy if you want to grab a slice but so so in my vast book of pizza
Benny Rinaldis pizza place is located in park circle . The slices of pizza are Hugh . One slice will fill your tummy. There is plenty of indoor seating as well as seat on the sidewalk. The pizza is good, The cheese tastes like cheddar cheese. Which is fine but not my favorite. The pizza dough and sauce is perfect. The service is friendly. Nothing fancy about this restaurant, reminds me of an old style New York pizzeria.
Stopped here for a quick bite while waiting on some people & glad I did br side o was hungry had the slice of pizza not the spot. It was good. The staff wasn't as friendly but the place was clean to include the restrooms. The pizza tasted pretty fresh so I'd def go back
If you've never been to a Benny's before, get ready for huge slices of pizza. If you're looking for quantity you've definitely get it here and if you're looking for quality it's pretty high up there too. Pizza is so subjective and I have my personal favorite, but there's definitely a difference between getting a fancy wood fired pie next door and getting a slice that's bigger than your head at Benny's. I've had a couple experiences at this location with one being take out and the other being dine in. For take out, we had family in town which included some kids and we opted for a Benny's pizza double cut to feed the whole crowd. It fed everyone with leftovers for sure. I recently went in for a slice and stayed to eat it. At lunch time they only had one person working so he was a one man show. He took our order, rang us up and got our slices in the oven. I don't love that they pre-cook the pizza and then add the toppings afterwards, but I also understand there is much less waste because you don't have five different giant pies under a heat lamp. You can make it a meal by adding a bag of chips any drink from the fridge which has a lot of options. Last time I tried the special meatloaf pizza and it was pretty good, but I like the slices of meatball better than the crumbled meatloaf, just because it was messier this way. I can always enjoy a slice of cheese too, but sometimes the toppings speak to me and I have to try. They didn't have the back bar open so I couldn't really see what was going on, but it looks like a good time... hopefully they promote that part of the place more because you really have to know it's there.
I came here after midnight. The person at the counter was very patient and helpful. The slices are pretty big. One was enough for me. There is a bar in the back. I didn't get to check it out though. I was in Charleston over the weekend and came here twice!
First time and I loved it!! Staff is friendly and patient. My boo and I went with the pizza combo which includes slice, soft drink, dip, chips/ice cream/cookie option. I'm a simple cheese slice gal and this one had great cheese to sauce ratio plus the crust and base was baked perfectly. Added extra oregano and Parmesan to mine and dipped in a garlic sauce cup. And wow their fridge contains a multitude of drinks, like vintage pop, lemonades, seltzers, and your usual soft drinks so that was fun to pick out. For our other side we both got ice cream bars cookies n cream edition to which the ice cream was sandwiched between two cookies. Great spot to get a slice or take a pie to-go.
Really good pizza at great prices. No wait to order when I went in on Friday evening. Good size restaurant, with seating in the front, back, & outside. Didn't venture to the back, but I did see at least 4 or 5 tables.
Park circle has a Benny's! I would be concerned that this would be tough for another pizza joint, but Bennys fills a special niche. Late night pizza is lacking in park circle and this was needed get some food in ya. Especially since there aren't any king st vendor carts. I approve of Park Circle getting more places open just a tad later. I'm no Night owl, but PC would close up at 10pm years ago. Bennys is the classic huge slice that is hot with a crisp bottom. Great drunk food, and good quick lunch. The staff was friendly and quick with my lunch order. They also have a back tap room that shows potential for last drink and late night slice. Cheers!
No. No and no. Pizza is Dry and chewy. Slices are large. I never drink an entire bottle of soda, but I did today. Service was good. Area is nice, but no, thank you! No ma'am!
Came in because there was no wait. Good beer selection and the slices are very filling. The whole pizzas are HUGE. It's hard to tell when you first walk in but there is a whole bar in the back with darts and jenga.
I had Rinaldi's before while at Bearded and had such a craving for it today. I figured I'd surprise my kids too with their humongous pizza, since they've never had it before. I walked in to place an order and the guy was super nice and quick. He said the pizza would be ready in 20 mins. At 25 minutes, I came back and he had it already boxed up ready to go. When I picked up my son, he saw the pizza box in the trunk (taking up more than half the width of the trunk) and instantly said, "wtf?! Why is that so big?" LOL. At home, the pizza was so good and my teens loved everything about it... The cheese, sauce, and crust. read more
BRING A TAPE MEASURE!!! I've never been anywhere that serves a larger slice than Benny R. does. And it's soooo yummy. The crust has just the right amount of chew--enough to give it character without feeling doughy. The cheese is impressively balanced and not overly greasy. I have a little ritual I call the "dab test" to see how much excess oil ends up on the slice. At some pizza places, it takes three or more napkins. Here, there was barely anything to blot. The sauce is excellent. I've had pizza where the garlic dominates every bite, but Benny R.'s strikes a great balance. Every ingredient complements the others, creating a flavorful sauce that enhances the pizza rather than competing with it. Pizza, 5:5. As for the atmosphere, it has exactly the kind of charm you'd hope for in a neighborhood pizza shop. It's casual, welcoming, and comfortable without trying to be overly polished. If you make your way to the back, you'll find a fun surprise. There's a bar, games, and a few other touches that make it a great place to hang out beyond just grabbing a slice. Ambience, 5:5 I really enjoyed the service. John took great care of me. He was friendly, courteous, attentive, conversational without being intrusive, and efficient. It's hard to ask for much more than that. Service, 5:5 read more
stopped in after an event because we had a craving for pizza. I appreciate that they are open late & you don't have to buy a whole pizza - one slice is plenty big! I ordered the special of the day, the bacon cheeseburger. I don't know if it was intentional or not, but it was a little extra crispy and honestly, I really appreciated it. Often, it's soft/floppy, but that extra crunch was nice! I also enjoy the interesting variety of soda options - I chose a blueberry, which was interesting. The person running the counter was nice & friendly - they ended up getting slammed/busy after we got our order, but she was working her butt off to take care of everyone. The space looks very small up front, but it extends to the tap room in the back, which we didn't get a chance to check out on this visit. I would stop back in for another slice if in the area. read more

This place is great! Super big portions, not pricy at all, and amazing food. Huge slice of pizza, huge cookie, and a big drink for $12? Can't beat it. read more

Wow! What can I say?! This is the largest slice of pizza that I have ever had and only for $6.50! I ordered a slice of pepperoni pizza and my husband ordered the Italian sausage. I enjoyed the pepperoni but I enjoyed his slice more! The pizza was good, large portions for sure and excellent price. Drinks were also $1.00-2.50! Great food and price! This place was great; stopped here randomly for a quick slice and the people were super nice, food was super affordable, and tasty. A NY style thin crust slice was like $6. The pie was warm and soft on the top, but crunchy on the bottom. A great alternative instead of waiting a ridiculously long time for the fancy pizza places. read more

Benny's saved my life today! When every other restaurant in Park Circle told our party of 8 that it was going to be an hour or more to seat us Benny's said our pie would be ready in 15 minutes. I fed 8 people for under 50 bucks with drinks! I would have paid any amount of money to feed 5 hungry kids!!! read more

I had a delicious slice that was bigger than my head and a couple cold beers on tap. The food was good, beer was cold and staff was friendly. I will be back. read more

I have been to several Benny's and I have to say this has some of the worst pizza by far. Came in to grab a slice of sausage pizza. Employees had a cold cheese pizza missing a few slices sitting on the counter which they proceeded to place sausage slices onto from the fridge, threw it in the oven for 2 minutes and sent me on my way. Slice wasn't fully heated, sausage just sitting on top of dried out luke-warm cheese. I was really looking forward to having a Benny's in Park Circle, but they have a lot of work to do before it stands a chance. read more
