We ordered Marcos the first time a couple months ago and the pizza was phenomenal. Wings were like dominoes, just different flavor. And the cinnisquares were pretty good. I just ordered our second pizza from there...pizza only. 6 out of 10 dessert and 10 out of 10 pizza. read more

Would not recommend. Ordered pizza for delivery, waited 45 min and called to check the status. They cancelled my ordered because they weren't delivering in the rain, which would have be fine had they alerted me. They cancelled my order, but didn't call, text, email, nothing. Employee only offered a dry "sorry". Never had pizza from here before and definitely will not ever spend my money with them now. Would give 0 stars if I could. read more

i placed an online order at 5:15. Estimated delivery was 30 minutes. I received track update stating my order was in the oven at 5:19. I did not receive any more order updates. I called at 6:20 to check on order. I was informed that they had to call Door Dash to come pick up my order and deliver to me. This happens every time I order fel from Marco's. I have cancelled orders before because it took forever to receive my food. It took 1 hour and 40 minutes to get my food. I will not order from Marco's again. read more

Absolute rip off I went to the Slidell store and ordered a large double pepperoni and a large double italian sausage. Total disappoinment considering the huge wait. There was barely any sausage on the slices but I was told because of the size of the meat it was correctly portioned. Double sausage is more than 3 pieces of meat on each slice. The BIG TURN OFF was the manager was wearing gloves and handling money transactions and going back to the kitchen prepping pizza. I can provide the date and time if you want to view the tape. The manager counted money out the safe and walked away to the kitchen and continued to prep food. I mentioned it to the clerk she had a blank stare on her face. I will not be back there. read more

The pizza is great, but the staff is shockingly incompetent. I asked to swap out the white sauce with red sauce, they said sure, and then they didn't do it. A week later I asked for the same substitution, and after thirty minutes of trying to explain to the (stoned out of his mind) employee what I wanted, he handed the phone to the manager. I was pleasantly surprised by Marcos. I work near it but had not yet tried it. One Saturday my husband got lunch from there and brought it to me at work. The lunch special was a small one topping pizza and a drink for $7 or $8. I chose pepperoni and he got bacon on his. The pizzas were hot and fresh. The ingredients tasted quality and the small was still big enough that we each saved some for dinner. I would recommend and look forward to going back! read more

The pricing at Marco's is on par (or, even cheaper if you use coupons) with the major chains like Domino's, Papa Johns, etc. I personally like their pizza a bit better, though. They even have free crust topping options, like parmesan, roma seasoning, garlic butter, etc. Oh, and you can order online and have it delivered whenever you are feeling exceptionally lazy. The pizza has more (and better) flavor than other chains. Granted, it's no Mo's or Huey P's, and definitely not a Slice. However, if you don't want to spend the cash on fancy pants local pizza, Marco's is a great option that will give you a lot of food for under $20. One major benefit for me is that they opened this Westbank location in the same strip mall as my daughter's dance studio. I'm sure it will become a nice treat periodically after a dance lesson. read more

I should be kicking myself for not trying out this place earlier. I've been missing out on some delicious pizza! Like most said this place is on point. You can seriously taste the freshness; it doesn't taste like cardboard like most places. I also love the fact that it taste just as good the next day when you re-heat it in the oven. I took 1 star away because: 1. The pizza is seriously small compare to other places, but what they lack in size they make up for it in taste. 2. The chicken wings were just pure fat and skin. I know it's a pizza chain so I shouldn't expect much from the chicken wings, but these wings are just awful. Aside from those two minor problem everything was great. I love that they give you garlic butter sauce with your pizza too. The customer service was lovely and everyone was nice. I will now be my go-to pizza place in the Westbank. read more

I am pleasantly surprised with this pizza. First thing that caught my eye when I opened the box was the obviously fresh vegetables! They looked fantastic! I was pre excited before opening the box because it was kinda heavy :-) I opted for a UNO Deluxe specialty pizza. Lots of different toppings and extra cheese. It was all that for sure. Hand tossed crust. I did carry out so I can't comment on the delivery part. They were very busy back there on a Sunday night at 7:30! Mostly with people placing an order face to face. A friendly atmosphere that smelled awesome when I walked in the door with my very loud hyper girls. Actually kind of alot of empty space. They had some chairs and tables to eat at. The pizza was very good. I think the pizza is Better than Dominos and Papa Johns. Way better than Little Cesars. The latter is great for kids birthday parties. Not this, this is some good munching. In that genre of carry out pizzas..... I think it's my new favorite. I agree with the previous review...it is not better than the other local places that Jennifer B. previously mentioned, Including Olive Branch Cafe nearby. But it is a very good tasty pizza. More choices for pizza on the westbank is always welcome. Did I mention the toppings were fresh and plentiful? The sauce also doesn't taste like a heartburn recipie. The container for extra sauce for the cheesy bread was good and a little bit chunky. Again, appears and taste made recently. We will definitely be hitting it again in the future. Called tonight July 3rd at about 9:35 to order a pizza . The first time my son called and the phone ended up getting disconnected . My son asked me to call Back because he said the lady was taking his order and talking to other people and it mad it difficult to order . I call back and she repeated to order to me and it was slightly wrong . Not a big deal besides she is freaking rude the entire time on the phone . At one point I though she hung up but I was mistaken she was on the phone and went silent . I'm tired of rude people who think there entitled to any job . Marcos should keep in mind the person anwsering the phone is the heart of the business and the Death . I told her to cancel my order and am waiting on a delivery from papa john instead . This is ridiculous and a shame because the food was so good the last time we ordered(a week ago which was the first time). Now I really don't like to order pizza much (though I have most of the GNO reviewed), but this place is hilarious and really cater to their customers. So much so, it almost makes you feel bad (I'm not really used to businesses appreciating their customers). This is a small little shop at the southern end of Barataria (middle of no where). I've been back here a few times simply because I figured the first time I visited HAD to be an anomaly. Their employees COULDN'T be this happy and friendly on a normal basis. I've been wrong time and again. This is like what you remember the old stoner Little Caesar's / Hungry Howies being (everyone having a good time making pizzas). I recall going here the first time and employees laughing and taunting me that I was about to get the best pizza I ever tasted. Every crew (and supervisor) really seems to get off on producing a quality product Now, the business is rather small with only a few tables so its not an ideal place to go to have lunch/dinner. It certainly is a great place to pick up a bunch of pies for your coworkers/employees. Their vegetarian and cheesy white pizza are probably their best menu items (great thin crust). Another thing about the menu item....I'm pretty sure they feature the exact same pizzas / sides as the Domino's chains do. Only, they actually have great quality especially on the vegetables. I ordered here one weeknight and I'm not joking, they were offering a BUY-ONE-GET-ONE-FREE special......on everything. That doesn't even make sense, but they really take customer service seriously here (and the employees don't resent it). read more

My first taste of Marco's went something like this, "I hate trying new pizza. But I'm SO HUNGRY. I'll cut the slice in half, it can't be THAT bad... OMG THIS IS AMAZING... why are there only three slices left? I want more!!" Two business meetings ago, I brought two Papa John's pizzas to a business meeting that twelve people attended, and there was one pizza left at the end of the meeting. A month later I ordered three Marco's pizzas and two cheese sticks, and when I got there to pick up the pizzas, the manager apologized that the staff had forgotten to withhold the ham on one of the specialty pies and they were giving us both the mistake pizza and the corrected one! I brought these four pizzas to the same meeting with the same people and there were NO leftovers. I think that says enough. I have it on good authority (the owner!) that the old Payless Shoes on Belle Chasse Hwy by Hooter's is being converted into a Marco's, which will be a much closer to where I live!! I have one Derek delivery from Marcos quite a bit working from home for both lunch and dinner. The food is always consistent and I can be guaranteed I'll get delivery within 30-45 minutes. I've had all the other pizza chains but Marcos seems to always be better than that. read more

I will say that we contacted the manager and she made it right. I really love their pizza. I just bought an XL 5 cheese pizza for $10. I highly recommend this over any of the big chain pizzas. The flavored crust is delicious too read more

We got a coupon in the mail from this Marco's unit, which provided a "Tuesday BOGO" offer of buy 1 pizza at menu price, and get a second equal or lesser value free. When we got to the store, the counter person refused to honor the coupon, saying that you could only get a medium two-topping and also related the owner said the coupon "was a mistake". We left the store. Marcos is engaging in a deceptive practice of providing coupons which they don't honor. read more

Worst customer service ever from store owner Susan Lightfoot-Freeman. We have brought endless pizzas here. The pizza we had last night made me sick then 2 others whom had it after. I explained to her politely that we only ate one pizza due to getting sick and would return the other pizza and wings. It taste funny and I know what their pizza taste like. Her answer was to take it to the health department! Rather lose a consistent customer than resolve the issue with a refund on what wasn't eaten or even a gift card. We spend hundreds of dollars there and never complained about anything. You would think a store owner could offer a better resolution lol. Please please please try larger chains with better customer service and better food quality. She does not value her customers. Definitely deserves zero stars. read more

I tried Marco's for the first time today. I have to say that the pizza was delicious. The guy that took my order was very nice and very helpful. I decided to dine in because I was anxious to try the pizza. The pizza was served to me in about ten minutes and was very hot. I had to let it cool a few minutes before I could dig in. When I did start to eat I was amazed at how good the pepperoni and Italian sausage tasted. I think the sausage was the best I have ever eaten. The only complaint I had was the choice of beverages, I need coke or Dr Pepper. It was a little early for beer. I will definitely be back for more pizza. read more
