Food was not as good as before but more than that my chief complaint is regarding this store and one of its employees. I am told she is the manager of the store but if so I am surprised to see one act like her. My first encounter with her she mentioned that we don't serve in your area, which was surprising because we have been purchasing from there for about 5 years. I had told her in a polite manner that but her tone was rude when she told me can I check for myself. You can tell where this was going, so I stayed calm and collective and just replied yes sure. This was my first encounter. Second encounter, I asked to send two extra large pizza's to a friend of mines address, it turned out being four pizzas and I was charged over 100 dollars to include a 15 dollar tip. Keep in mind I always give 15 - 25 dollar tips and I stay humble at all times. 3rd encounter they sent an uber driver to drop off at my friends address instead of changing it back after we verified my address up front of my home. I caught the address when a text was stated that uber was going to pick up my pies and send them to my friend's address. Called them and asked them to change the address, she pretended that she did and then slammed the phone on me as if she was too busy to give me any more of her time. I knew that moment I needed to get a hold of the uber driver. Finally when I got ahold of the driver she had just picked up the pies. I asked her if she was taking them to my residence, she stated the other address. I told her the one to send to is different. Now it's become confusing to drivers because of this and mind you I'm only about 4 miles away. I am contacting corporate regarding this because now I am truly dissatisfied as a customer and will not purchase again from this store or Marcos again unless something changes. For me this unfair who they're hiring and I am sure I am not the only one with complaints. Is the money and tips not good enough these days? I wanted to reach out about a disappointing experience with my recent order from your Cheswick location. I ordered a thin crust Philly Cheesesteak pizza, which was supposed to be my meal. It's been quite some time since I last ordered from Marco's, but I always remembered your pizzas being hot, gooey, and well-balanced with toppings. Unfortunately, what I received today fell far short of that expectation. The pizza arrived with an overwhelming amount of mushrooms and peppers piled on top...it was as if half a can of toppings had been dumped on there, forming a pyramid. On top of that, the pizza wasn't even hot; the toppings were barely warm. I ended up pulling most of them off just to eat the steak portion, but I could only manage to eat about three squares before giving up. I ended up having a slice of the pepperoni pizza I ordered for my kids instead. I was really looking forward to enjoying my meal, and this experience was disappointing, to say the least. First time trying Marco's pizza on Hodges. -It was amazing! Exactly what I was craving. Whenever I eat out I normally can't decide on what I want. Phil was very patient and helpful. I took the pizza to my car and the smell alone had me in trance. I ate a slice and I'm now obsessed. This was a wonderful end of the work day. The fresh ingredients and fresh dough makes them stand out for me. The friendly staff was the cherry on top! For the pizza, we really Loved the crust (fluffy was the way my wife described it). All ingredients were fresh and there was plenty of them. The cheesy bread was the best I've eaten from all the local pizza places, I couldn't stop eating. Tip: Don't trust the tracking app. I was standing outside when it said my pizza was ready. Wrong, wasn't ready for 7 more minutes. I wasn't in a hurry so it didn't make a big difference to me, just a heads up. Wasn't enough to drop a star. read more

I dislike leaving bad reviews but after 2 reviews direct to Marco's and no response it seems they just don't care. This restaurant used to be one of my favorites but unfortunately they are headed down hill fast. Twice in the past 2 months I have ordered and been extremely disappointed. Both times they employees did not even check the special instructions on my Marco's app order. The first time I ordered pickup, arrived 5 minutes before the projected ready time and waited in the parking lot for the app to tell me it was ready. Shortly after the estimated ready time the app said ready for pickup so I went in to get it only to find it was still in the oven. Employee said it would be 10 more minutes. I asked is it in the oven for the "extra bake" I had ordered and got deer in the headlights look. After realizing neither of them had even checked the special instructions. He said it was going to be another 30 minutes. I was rather upset and I asked why did the app change to "ready for pick up" when it is still in the oven for initial bake much less it needed extra bake after that. Again, deer in the headlights. I didn't need an answer, they are gaming the timer to try to make the restaurant look like they are faster than they are. 40 minutes after my projected pick up time I was finally leaving for home. When I arrived home, I found out they didn't put the extra sauce on that I had requested there was barely enough sauce on to make the pizza dough look slightly red. The pizza was light on toppings, basically had no sauce, and the dough tasted more like mushy bread than pizza dough. So disappointed I wrote this in a Marco's pizza review and asked to a call back. No response from Marco's, just crickets. Second app order I had it delivered. It arrived earlier than projected and it was hot but thats the only thing I can say positive. This pizza was worse than the first because they didn't follow the special instructions now instead of mushy, bread-tasting pizza dough I got soggy bread, tasting pizza dough, (no extra bake), few toppings, and NO EXTRA SAUCE. Had to rebake at home and add sauce and It still had poor bland tasting crust. Sent in a second.Marco's requested pizza review and again no call back. I guess they have plenty of people that like pizza done that way but I would not recommend anyone to this particular Marco's currently. read more

Today was my first time trying this place. I ordered through Door Dash and my order came pretty quick, around 20 minutes. I live like 5 minutes away. My food was very hot and fresh. The pizza was huge, I got the XL size. The crust is very good, soft and fluffy with a nice little chewiness to it. However, I personally feel like the pizza sauce and the cheese did not have any flavor. I also got 10 piece buffalo wings. They were very small for the price of 15.99. The picture that's advertised looked like the wings were big and crispy, but they aren't. They were small and soggy. The flavor was just okay. I have been fortunate to have pizza from Marco's on several occasions. A friend who lives not far from here gets this anytime we have a pizza get together. Last night we had a white pizza and a extra cheese pizza. I love white pizza, and Marco's is amazing. Covered with such gooey cheese, cooked onions, tomatoes, and garlic. It is amazing. You will have a hard time not eating until you drop when you get this one. Even the picky three-year-old in the group ate two pieces! My sister had never had Marco's and didn't want to take her last bite as it was .... her last bite. She wanted to savor the amazing tastes. We also shared a brownie dessert from there and no one was left hungry or disappointed. Ordered Marcos on 09/13/2020 after another pizza place disappointed me by giving away my order to another person. Used the online ordering option and was able to select pay upon arrival which is really nice so that my credit card is not floating through cyberspace. Order was ready on time but when I took it home I noted that the barbecue wings were not evenly sauced. Some had way too much sauce and some not enough. It was like some just dumped barbecue sauce on top of them. My chicken fresco pizza had way too many onions and overpowered the rest of the ingredients. Cheese sticks were good and my half cheese pizza/ half pepperoni pizza was enjoyed by my kids. When Marco's pizza shop opened up not too long ago, I was pretty excited. They're just down the street from where I live, they're not a chain, and they deliver, so I was thinking home run. Uh...no. More like a strike out. Now...this review is based strictly on delivery, not a dine-in experience, so maybe it would have been better if we were actually there, who knows. Delivery: Fast...like Jimmy Johns Sandwiches fast...where you place your order...go to hang up the phone...and the doorbell rings. For sandwiches, of course this is a good thing...but pizza? Food: YES, you guessed it. It wasn't cooked long enough. We ordered a pepperoni deep dish, and the pepperonis weren't a shade darker than they would be coming out of the package. The crust itself was an enigma, having a slight crunch on the outside and gooey dough on the inside. Cheese...you could still see the shreds of mozzarella, as it was not fully melted. How they could have missed this is beyond me, as it was visible when we opened the box. All-in-all...perfect way to ruin a day at the pool. Wrap-up: They're brand spankin' new, so I'll let them work out the kinks. My step-dad, on the other hand....he cherishes 2 things in this world....good pizza and good beer. He won't be ordering from them any time soon. I called Marco's and let them know the issues, and they were profusely apologetic and genuinely concerned, which bumps it up to two stars for service. I don't mind waiting 30-40 minutes for my pizza delivery if I know they're taking the proper care in the prep work, cooking, AND performing a quality check before it leaves the shop. Marcos is a pretty standard pizza setup. It's just 'meh' for me. My husband likes it more than I do...so this won't be my last check in here. Their prices aren't as cheap as the big two, but they're not outrageous either. They do deliver and has seats for you to dine in. There is free wifi as well. read more

Usually I get pizza at a mom n pop style shop but I was going around the corner from this location and it was convenient. Ordered online and asked for double cut slices. Got there and it was the kids cut(?) - whatever the little squares are called. They made another one and cut it correctly, and gave me the mistake one. So a free pie, can't be mad at that. For a franchise style pizza, it was pretty good. The thin crust is the way to go, in my opinion. I also suggest you get it with extra cheese no matter what other toppings you get, balances out the slice. I will buy here again. Also found it interesting that they don't take tips in the store. We tried Marco's Pizza for the first time last night. Since we were doing carry out we just decided to go up to the store to order to see all our options. They had a special for 2 one topping medium pizzas, cheezy bread and a 2 liter so we opted for that that. We ordered one with pepperoni and the garlic crust topper and the other with meatballs and regular crust. Everything smelled so good that we couldn't wait to get home to eat. My favorite was the pepperoni pizza and the garlicy crust. It was finger licking good. With great customer service and good food, we will be back to try out more options soon! read more

This location at multiple times have delivered pizzas luke warm, have longer waiting times to prepare and are at not way in a sense of urgency to get them done fast or to the customer hot. The ingredients have become less and less since they opened and the sauce also seems to be more watered down. Have been disappointed with this location at multiple times and have even seen the drivers just playing around outside while pizzas were ready to deliver. Have had multiple free pizzas and money applied to orders due to errors. Would not suggest this location, try a different one. read more

While I was visiting in Florida, we ordered a cheese pizza, extra cheese, a white sauce based cheese pizza, also extra cheese, a Deluxe Uno pizza (cheese, pepperoni, sausage, mushrooms, onions, green peppers), an order of cheesy garlic bread, an order of garlic bread without cheese, and an order of tang barbecue wings. When we ordered, we had no coupons -- but the person taking the order asked us to hold for a minute while he found some (saved us $7, without us asking). Delivery was within 30 minutes, and the food was very, very hot on arrival. The driver forgot to bring the wings, but ran back and got them, and was back before we'd even started eating. The pizza was delicious, especially the Deluxe Uno. The veggies on the pizza were cooked enough to be soft, but still have that bit of bite to them (no mush here!). The crust was very nice -- thin and crispy, without being overcooked. My wife LOVED the white sauce pizza (I'm not a big white sauce person myself, but she said it was quite good). The wings were also good -- not amazingly good, but better than most pizza places by quite a bit. The only thing I knocked a star off for was forgetting the wings -- and they fixed that very quickly, and without an issue. Customer service is huuuuge, the fact that you guys are not busy (pre dinner time at 430) and you do not take time to make sure an order is correct and do nothing to correct it speaks poorly on the employees and the corporation. I had to drive back for what I paid for and what was missing and no offer was given back on my end for your company's mistake. I was visiting my niece and we wanted pizza. I jumped onto Yelp and Marco's was pretty highly recommended. Thank you to everyone on here because this place was great! I am a self admitted pizza snob. Pizza Hut's crust though picture perfect is some pre-fab artificial crap that my dog can't even digest. And that should be the measure for whether or not something is fit for human consumption....whether or not a dog can keep it down. This is the same dog who can eat her own vomit or feces no problem. Papa Johns has on too many occasions to count served my pizza with rotten mushrooms that taste like bath soap. Welcome Marco's...who will from now on have my business. The true testament and most important ingredient to any pizza..the dough. Which my dog can happily eat by the way...but i'm not sharing...lol. The dough is the bomb. You can definitely tell the difference because they make it fresh in store. Fresh toppings they are not skimped on. We tried Marco's for the first time tonight. We came in with a scratch off saying we had won free pizza for the year. We were unsure of the promotion, especially since we never win anything, so we decided to give the place a try. We had a wonderful experience in the store. Gunner was extremely polite and friendly. He provided great customer service and was patient with us while we were trying to decide what we wanted (being first timers). We were very happy with the service provided in store, and couldn't wait to try the pizza once we got home. The pizza was delicious! We also ordered BBQ wings, which were delicious as well!
