This time, there were only 6 of us so we were sat at a large round table - perfect for conversation. I ordered my go-to Panko Crusted Feta for an appetizer and then ordered the Chicken Parmesan without sauce for my entree and a Pink Mule to drink. The mule was very flavorful - you can't tell it's got liquor, which is dangerous! The feta was phenomenal, as usual, and the chicken was good. Their entrees include choice of soup or salad and their famous breadsticks, on which I always fill up. The breadsticks arrived first and they were piping hot. They are garlicky and salty and perfectly cooked. I chose the Lemon Chicken and Rice Soup, which was very good. I was full before the feta appetizer arrived! The feta never disappoints so when I got my entree, I was full. I had a few bites and had them box it up. It wasn't my favorite option - I usually like their salads but I'm still off lettuce for a while longer. I know we will be back - we really like this restaurant!

We arrived around 2:30 on a Sunday and only had to wait a few minutes for a patio table. It was a perfect day to be in the patio but the fact that they have garage door type of windows also makes it even more open and gives you the feeling of being outside. The Highland House is part of a restaurant group so if you've been to one, you kind of know what to expect. They have fantastic bread sticks and if you don't try them with the garlic cream cheese spread you are certainly missing out! The food is always delicious and the portions typically allow you to bring a little home to enjoy later. our server in this day was very friendly and took decent care of us. We look forward to a return visit in the not too distant future!

My curbside order was given to me by a big man who thought it was a smart idea to shake my Pepsi as he walked to my car. I'm not sure if this store is aware that if you shake a soda first it will burst when you open it and secondly it will take away the gas that it has inside it. I then asked if I could get a cup of ranch and the guy literally could not comprehend what I meant about the ranch and wanted to take my whole order away. After asking for ranch 4 times I told him to not worry that I'll go into the store and give the lady the dollar for the small cup of ranch. 3. When I went inside to exchanged my shaken soda the blonde lady that didn't have a mask gave me an attitude and was hesitant on replacing my soda. She then proceeded to give me a weird/disgusted/ annoyed look which then I proceeded to say " I'm sorry but there is no need for your attitude I just wanted to replace it" and she proceeded to say "it's ok" with the same look in her face. The worst part about this is that I was going to purchase a ranch cup and exchange my soda but after that attitude I rather go to another hungry Howies. Update: Tried the soda... take my advice go to a different store. It couldn't have tasted more stale as for the pizza they made it way too salty.

The food and drinks are reliably tasty and consistent, and the service is fast and friendly. The expansive menu offers something for everyone-- classic bar fare with a twist, build-your-own pizza, lots of healthy options, and if you have any food issues, they can and will accommodate you. Some of my favorite menu items-- fresh & unique salads, wraps, and sandwiches, plus some of the best parmesan garlic boneless wings I've ever had. We've tried several different dishes over the years, and have never been disappointed. Their ranch dressing is a must-have add-on (even if you're just dipping your fries or wings... it's so good!) And they can really shake up a solid margarita! The building is huge, as it is an athletic complex with a games area, gym, and banquet center. The bar and restaurant space is in the front, offering plenty of bar, booth, and tabletop seating for both small and large groups. We avoid the nights when the corn hole/fowling area is being utilized because it tends to get so loud from all the people playing & cheering, you can't even hear yourself think! All in all, The Lift remains one of our go-to spots for a quick meal that satisfies! Bring your friends, hang out, watch a game, and grab some grub! :)
