Delicious pizza, but the employees cannot follow an order. Every time, they screw up custom orders. Double check your pizza before leaving. Even if they make it again, triple check. Chances are it still won't be correct. read more

Ordered a pepperoni pizza and the box and entire bottom of the pizza was literally drenched in oil. I called Marcos to explain the situation and got told on the phone "that's what happens with pepperoni" I am aware that pepperoni is oily- I am also aware the cupped pepperoni pools oil and that pizza is oily- this pizza box was soaked through with oil and my pizza was ruined and completely inedible. When I asked if it was possible to get a new pizza, the jerk on the phone said "there's nothing wrong with your pizza" there's something wrong with your employees attitude though! I've been to this location a couple times since it's close (ish) to home, just under 30 minutes away, and have never had a bad experience here. The food is always very good and definitely worth the trip to go from home to pick it up rather than just grabbing it on the way home from somewhere. I ordered a carry out tonight and while the food was still awesome, there was a thing or two that was wrong with the order that I didn't notice until I had gotten back home. I called the store to let them know about the accident, and I spoke with the new general manager Jen. Jen was so kind and considerate on the phone, you can tell she actually cares about her customers, unlike many other places! She acknowledged my problem, and went WAY above and beyond whatever was even necessary to make it right! I was taken aback by her such kind gesture, I didn't even know how take it! I will most definitely continue to be a returning customer and give this store my business whenever I want a pizza! All of the locations in Jackson are owned by the same person, and to that person I say a big F YOU. You set people up to fail and allow "managers" (aka people who don't know what they are doing and act like children) to fire people for just doing their job. The only thing we can say---it is VERY hit or miss on the quality of pizza you will get! Period. The thick crust pizza can be good at times but most of the time, it is lack in toppings & overcooked-as in our last couple of visits. This is a quick, easy after practice place to hit-that is all. Your options are very limited in GL so you get what you get. I was upset to see the counter staff with NO masks on--as well as answering the phone, taking cash, then going back to making pizza---with NO gloved, unwashed hands! ARGGGGG. One order, the grease leaked through the bag all over the floor of our car--arg again! So the deal here is--VERY limited options in GL--it's another pizza chain joint---know going in, that it's hit on miss on quantity & flavor of the pizza/sides. Enough said. read more

We order from Marcos in Grass Lake, MI multiple times every week. We have been very happy with the service and quality until yesterday. We ordered 4 salads and 3 subs. The subs were good as usual but all of the Salads had half the ingredients as they normally come with. I hope not a new trend. read more

Grass Lake Marco's has always had a very cabin-cozy feel, almost home like at times. The patio is a great place to go hang out, during the summer, when the "3-Scoops" ice cream shop located inside of this particular location is open. It's a great place to grab a sub or salad when you're down at the lake, or even if you're just passing through. Staff seems helpful and knowledgeable, very friendly and polite. read more

First time I ordered pizza in months. We ordered an extra large deep dish with pepperoni, ham, tomatoes, black olives with an everything crust, double cheese and parmesan shaved on top. We went to pick it up and the gentleman that served us warned that the amount of cheese would make it super hot. We brought it home and about 10 minutes later it was cool enough to eat and really good. It tasted like the pizzas I ate in Italy. Perfect crust, crispy on the bottom and tons of cheese with some of it being nicely browned. Yummy! read more

Marcos, I gave you so many chances. I have tried so many ingredient and crust combinations and it's just not that good. I really hoped to have a nice pizza place close to home but unfortunately will have to drive the extra miles for some good pizza because Marcos isn't that great..even my kids don't like it:( read more

Only ever had 2 problems with Marcos. One was an undercooked deep dish, another was an hour wait in the store, even after placing order from home. They apologized and we were given everything free on the next order. Very happy with their pizza and will continue to order from them. Tons of coupons and deals online. read more

Ordered a few large cheese and pepperoni pies and bread from Marcos over the memorial day weekend while camping in Grass lake. They delivered to the campground in approx. 40 minutes, and the pizza was hot and fresh. Overall a great experience. :) read more

I have ordered from this pizza establishment for years and at its current state I am not a fan when ordering a pizza withe light cheese and extra sauce I usually end up with a pizza that consists of just cheese and bread, while I am not against cheese I just do not enjoy a pizza that is just glorified cheese bread with toppings. On a side note the delivery people are nice enough and the service is tolerable but due to the gross negligence of following a simple order makes me not enjoy this particular branch of Marcos pizzeria. read more

My husband and I looked online and it said they were open until 10pm. It was 9:20 we called to order a pizza and it rang continuously for 10 min and then someone just picked it up and hung up the phone. We called back and it rang another 10 min and the girl answered saying thank you for calling Marcos pizza, were closed. It was now 9:40 after 20 minutes of trying to get through, I said it says online that you are open until 10pm, she said I just turned off my ovens! I asked why would you be open until 10 if you cannot get a pizza at 9:40? She said it takes 25 minutes to make an order. I called another Marcos and they said that that is not thier policy and it only takes 10 min for an order and they are not suppose to shut ovens off until 10 minutes prior to closing and then if an order comes in, they have to turn them back on! The Grass Lake Marcos is very unprofessional and does not follow policy! Not to mention that they hung up on us! I understand that they probably wanted to leave at 10 but if they would have answered at 9:20 when we first started calling they would have still had plenty of time. Just lazy and rude! read more

Apparently this place doesn't want my business or referrals!!! I called to place an order for pick-up on the phone on Friday, 9/4/15, at approximately 7:30pm. The man who answered politely asked what I wanted, I told him an order for pick-up. He said it would be 45 minutes and I said OK. Then he said, "really? You're going to wait 45 minutes to pick-up a pizza?!" So I said, "I guess not because it sounds like you really don't want to." He then said, " I'm just really busy and I only have one oven running and there's 20 orders before yours." So I said that that's ridiculous and he hung up on me! The next day I go into the store hoping I could talk to a manager or the owner and while we're at it I'd get my three kids ice cream. The minute I walked in an older gentlemen, approximately 65 yrs. old said, "I'm sorry but I'm too busy to deal with ice cream right now." I said that you've got to be kidding me and I asked if he was working the night before. In fact he did, until around nine at night. So two days in a row this guy (who btw, said he was the GENERAL MANAGER) has denied my family service because he's "too busy!" I don't care how good the food is, I'll NEVER be back and if I could stand outside this establishment with a sign, I would do it immediately. I think I need to call the BBB. read more

The pizza itself is typical for a Marco's. No complaints on that end. The service is another story. I've been there twice while passing through. While the dining area was a bit nicer the second time through, it seems like they tossed all the really run-down furniture but didn't replace it, the manager or owner was just as rude. The first time through the party I was with asked for just cups of water instead of purchasing pop or bottled water. He grouchily told them they would have to go to the bathroom to fill the paper cups that he provided. They ordered before me but, their order came out after mine. The second time through I asked for cups for water and got the same spiel my friends had (although I kind of expected it but our dental bills mean we're avoiding pop and sports drinks and it seems ridiculous to pay for bottled water at a restaurant where the tap water is also used to prepare your food), and my order came out after those that had ordered after me and who had purchased drinks. I tipped 20% on my order but, I still got the grouchiness over the water and over asking for a box for our leftover pizza. I don't think I'll give this place a chance for three strikes. read more
